Dear Members, Happy New Year! I hope you enjoyed a wonderful holiday season and that 2026 is already shaping up to be a year filled with good health, happiness, and special moments with family and friends. First and foremost, on behalf of our entire Greensboro Country Club team, I would like to sincerely thank you for your generous support of this year’s Holiday Fund. Your contributions were distributed in early December and had an immediate and meaningful impact on our staff and their families. The Holiday Fund supports all employees, those who serve you daily as well as the many dedicated individuals working behind the scenes whose efforts are essential to delivering the level of service you expect. Your kindness and support make a meaningful difference in their lives, and we appreciate it deeply.

In early December, we also gathered to celebrate our staff at the annual Employee Holiday Party. This event provides an important opportunity to recognize the commitment, professionalism, and passion our team brings to the Club every day. This year, we were proud to honor 44 employees for one year of service, 6 employees for five years, 1 employee for ten years, and Doug Lowe, our Director of Agronomy and Golf Course Maintenance, for an extraordinary 25 years of service. We are immensely proud of our long-tenured employees and the culture they help cultivate—one that values growth, teamwork, training, and continuous improvement. During the celebration, we also recognized individual achievements through our Employee Recognition Program. In 2025, twelve employees were honored as Employee of the Month, four as Employee of the Quarter, and one as Employee of the Year. The Employees of the Month included David Albright (Steward), Patrick Bryant (Culinary), Bill Mabe (Golf), Brian Abee (Purchasing), Ed Moore (Security), Brenda Seal (Accounting), Mike Wilkerson (Fitness), James Jarrett (Greens), Calliope Dudley (Sunset Dining), Kevin Marley (Sunset Dining), Ariana Cassata (Golf), and Sawyer Goots (Culinary). From this group, Bill Mabe, Brenda Seal, James Jarrett, and Kevin Marley were selected as Employees of the Quarter. We were especially proud to recognize Brenda Seal, with 27 years of dedicated

service in accounting, as our employee of the year. Please join me in congratulating these outstanding team members for their exceptional contributions. As we reflect on 2025, I would also like to thank you for your valuable engagement and feedback, particularly through our HappOmeter survey system. Your insights play a vital role in helping us refine our services and programming. Thanks to your support and our team’s commitment, our restaurants achieved an overall Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 80 this past year. In industry terms, scores above 75 are considered “World Class Service,” making this a tremendous accomplishment. Building on this success, we also introduced the survey to our golf operations, where your feedback helped us close the year with an impressive NPS of 85. In 2026, our goal is to remain responsive to your comments and continue striving for excellence across all departments. Maintaining the long-term financial health of the Club remains a top priority. After closing fiscal year 2025 with strong results, we are once again operating under a breakeven budget for the current fiscal year (October 1, 2025 September 30, 2026), where dues and operating revenues are structured to cover all expenses. While restaurants and member social events are intentionally subsidized by dues to provide exceptional value, private banquet events must fully cover their costs and operate profitably. Your support in welcoming new members and utilizing our banquet facilities is essential in helping us maintain affordable pricing for everyday Club experiences. In alignment with these objectives, the Club’s Initiation Fee has increased to $50,000, with planned incremental increases of $5,000 for every 25 new Members. As we begin this new year, our focus remains on enhancing your overall Club experience, expanding offerings, and delivering exceptional value to our membership. The future is bright, and we look forward to welcoming you to Greensboro Country Club, your home away from home, throughout 2026. Here’s to a fantastic year ahead! Tournament Results 2025 Gentlemen's Club Championship Congratulations to our 2025 Club Championship winners! We had excellent weather conditions for all players over the weekend, and the golf courses played difficult across all divisions, making it a true Club Championship challenge. Billy Buchanan is the 2025 Gentlemen's Club Champion after rounds at the Farm from the gold tees on Friday and Sunday, and one round at Irving Park from the blue tees on Saturday. In particular, the conditions for Sunday's final round included more wind that we have seen for a major tournament at GCC in recent memory, and Billy's even par 72 was 11 shots better than anyone else in the final round. In total, Billy's score of +7 was 16 shots ahead of the nearest competitor! The President's Flight, played over two days was won by Zac Truesdale, and the net flights were won by Ed Acosta and Michael Ahern. Congratulations to all of our champions for a great weekend of tournament golf at Greensboro Country Club!

2025 Player of the Year Congratulations to the 2025 Player of the Year, Thierry Bosson! Mr. Bosson won the 18-hole shootout by three strokes over runner-up Zac Truesdale and third place finisher Aaron Messick. Mr. Bosson's round was highlighted by back-toback birdies on holes 4 and 5, leading him to shoot an even-par 35 on the front nine at the Farm, creating a comfortable lead he was able to manage all the way to the Clubhouse.

January 9 - February 13 This popular league is typically for players who have previously competed in leagues at GCC. Many of the players are playing on either our GPL Advanced or Intermediate teams. $50 per Person | Six-week League

January 8 - February 12 This clinic is for the intermediate to advanced players looking to improve their doubles strategy. This class is for our ladies who participate on GPL teams or anyone who is intermediate to advanced. $156 per Person | Six-week Clinic
The format will be mixed doubles, using a “winand-move-up, lose-and-move-down” style of play. We will rotate through multiple timed rounds, with a bell signaling the end of each round. Enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine throughout the event. Prizes for the winners along with fun giveaways. $50 per Team (Guests Are Welcome)
