This study is the first in Taiwan that conducts macro yet in-depth microplastic detections and measurements on the feces of multiple protected land animal species and the water samples from their habitats. This report details the results of the study, which was conducted between 2021 and 2022 by a team of researchers from Greenpeace, along with scholars and experts from Taiwan in the fields of conservation ecology and microplastics.
