The Green Chair Project’s 2025 Impact Report highlights the power of community in turning empty spaces into homes. Each year, thousands of neighbors in our community move into housing after experiencing homelessness, crisis, or hardship, often with little more than a key to an empty apartment. Through furniture, household essentials, and the support of volunteers and donors, those spaces become safe, comfortable homes where families can begin again.
Inside this report, you’ll see the collective impact made possible by our community in 2025. Together we served 2,894 neighbors, furnished more than 1,100 households, provided 1,364 beds and cribs, mobilized over 10,000 volunteer hours, and kept 1,142 tons of furniture and household goods out of local landfills.
