Westfest is taking place on June 13 and 14. Never been? It’s an annual street festival that fills Richmond Road with music, food, street performers, and lots of free family fun. It’s picture perfect, and we’d like to see your photos too! Send them to editor@kitchissippi.com and we’ll print our favourites in the next issue of KT. Photos by Ted Simpson

We just heard... Your bank hiked your fees! Save your money, pull the chute! Give co-operative banking a try. Here’s why YOU need to pull the chute. First off, the bank hiked your fees , Secondly, you’ll receive $50 for switching your chequing account to Frontline Credit Union , Finally, refer someone to do the same and you’ll receive an additional $50 . Some conditions apply, a limited time offer.
Co‑operative banking is banking where profits have a higher purpose — they’re returned to you in the form of great rates and better service, and put back into the communities where you live and work, to do good.
