Purpose of set aside determination To set aside an area of a reserve as an area where operating an aircraft or class or aircraft is permitted.
Area set aside
Area of reserve between Saint George River and Teddy’s Lookout, adjacent to the Great Ocean Road, as indicated in blue in Appendix 1.
During the following times: (a) 30 minutes before and during the landing of a helicopter on the reserve; (b) whilst a helicopter is on the reserve; and (c) 10 minutes after the departure of a helicopter from the reserve.
(a) the maximum number of persons who may enter or remain in the reserve is 10 persons subject to any directions according to law; (b) only the following activities may be undertaken in the area of the reserve— (i) landing a helicopter; and (ii) proving ground support activities to aid in the safe landing of a helicopter. (c) a person must hold a current permit issued by the Great Ocean Road Coasts and Park Authority, where required, which allows a person to engage in the particular activity noted in (b).

(a) this determination applies to all aircrafts excluding a glider, hang glider, hot air balloon, a parachute or a paraglider (b) the maximum number of persons who may enter or remain in the reserve is 200 persons subject to any directions according to law; (c) only the following activities may be undertaken in the reserve— (i) take-off of an aircraft to which this determination applies;
