ONE HEART QUARTERLY ONE HEART QUARTERLY GRAPEVINE FAITH
What an incredible start to the school year for Faith Athletics! The energy and excitement under the Friday night lights have been truly special. Seeing our community come together to cheer on our Lions is a powerful reminder of what makes this place so unique.
We are thrilled to welcome two outstanding new leaders to our coaching staff this fall. Coach Fuller has brought a renewed passion and vision to our football program, and Coach Cole is already making a significant impact with our volleyball team. We are also incredibly proud of the continued excellence of our cross country program under the guidance of Coach Rodriguez, whose dedication is second to none.
It is a profound blessing to serve the families and studentathletes at Grapevine Faith. We are committed to developing not just skilled competitors, but also young men and women of character.
The future of our athletic program is bright, and we are already gearing up for another exciting season as our winter sports prepare to kick off soon.
Thank you for your unwavering support.
Go Lions!

VOLLEYBALL LOOKS TO FLIP SCRIPT
IN SECOND TRIP
SCRIPT IN SECOND TRIP THROUGH DISTRICT
The Lady Lions sit at (2-6) in district play after a challenging first round of contests across TAPPS 5A, District I. With six games remaining, 3 of those at home on Dallas Road, their playoff potentials still very much exist.
The next three Tuesdays will bring All Saints (Fort Worth), Fort Worth Christian, and Southwest Christian at home - with dates on the road at Trinity Christian (Lubbock), Midland Christian, and Southwest Christian in between.
Wins over Midland Christian and Fort Worth Christian are the Lady Lions quickest path to a shot at the fourth playoff spot in District Ithose key victories, and help from around the district will be critical in their turn-around efforts as they seek to claw their way back up the district standings and into the postseason for the first time since 2022.
WEATHER THE ONLY FOE TO SLOW DOWN THE LIONS IN ‘25 WEATHER THE ONLY FOE TO SLOW DOWN THE LIONS IN ‘25
A stormy September evening, highlighted by multiple lightning delays and a sudden monsoon, has been the only force capable of giving the Lions many issues in the early going of the 2025 season.
Across five non-district games, Faith has put 270 points on the scoreboard - the second most points scored in the first five games of a season - EVER. The Lions best start in history, 2007, saw 290 points scored in weeks one through five - a season that ended in the TAPPS State Finals. Their four-game tear through Cistercian (SPC), St. Michaels (TAPPS Div I), Atlas, and Lake Country Christian (TAPPS Div III) have seen an average of 64 points on the Faith side of the board. The previous three weeks have been highlighted by a record-breaking single game total of 77 in a win on the road at St. Michaels, an all out effort - in all three phases of the game - in a 69 point total over Atlas that included two kick return touchdowns and two pick sixes - four non-offensive scores in an exciting night at Grapevine Ford Field; and, finally a 56-7 Homecoming victory over LCCS that included another interception return TD for the Faith defense who held the Eagles scoreless after their first drive of the ball game.
The Lions next five opponents make up TAPPS Division II, District I - in many minds, the most competitive group of teams in TAPPS second-largest division. Faith will travel to the defending State Champion, All Saints of Fort Worth on October 10. A date at Southwest Christian on October 17 will follow, before the Lions return home for a matchup with Trinity Christian School (Lubbock). Faith will wrap up the district slate in west Texas against Midland Christian, then at home on November 7 against Fort Worth Christian - a game that always means more and will likely influence the district's playoff picture.

XC DISTRICT MEET IN SIGHT, LIONS LOOK TO CONTINUE PODIUM PERFORMANCES
The Lions head to Fort Worth on October 14 with intentions of continuing an already impressive 2025 season.
On three consecutive weekends from August to September, Sophia Belcher and Margo Bruner stood side by side atop the podium - Belcher (the 2024 District Champion) winning each race with Bruner not far behind.
Underclassmen Declan Steckel and Luke Pueppke look to carry their improving results into the District Meet from the Men's side.
