GRAPEVINE FAITH CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

2025-2026 ANNUAL REPORT

Grapevine Faith Christian School

A Message from the President Dear Faith Family, As we reflect on the 2025–2026 school year, we give thanks for God’s abundant faithfulness at Grapevine Faith. In classrooms, on fields and courts, on stages, and through the lives of our students, we have seen His provision and blessing in remarkable ways. This year also marked the retirement of our high school principal, Mr. Keith Hall, after an extraordinary 46 years of service to Christian education and 11 years at Faith. His influence reaches across generations of students, families, and colleagues. We are especially grateful that Mr. Hall spent the past three years pouring into Dr. Matt Lambro, helping prepare the way for a strong leadership transition. We celebrate his remarkable legacy and are grateful for his life in furthering the mission of Faith. The pages of this annual report offer only a glimpse of what God accomplished through our community this year. Our enrollment grew to 834 students representing 535 families, while the Class of 2026 earned more than $11.8 million in merit-based scholarships. Our Academic and Creative Arts teams claimed TAPPS 5A State Championships, and our Speech and Debate program earned national recognition. These accomplishments are worth celebrating, but the greatest measure of our success remains in the the spiritual formation of students! We are equally grateful for God’s provision through the generosity of our families and friends. With more than $20.5 million in revenue and $7.8 million committed or given toward our $24 million long-term goal, we enter the new school year with a strong foundation for the work ahead. Most importantly, we move forward undaunted in our commitment to stand firmly upon our Statement of Faith and our mission “to develop and graduate authentic Christian leaders.” We believe that calling is as important today as it has ever been. Thank you for praying, giving, serving, and partnering with us. We are grateful for what God has done—and excited for what He will do next. Press on, Ed Smith, Ed.D. GRAPEVINE FAITH NAMED TAPPS 5A ACADEMIC STATE CHAMPIONS GFCS celebrated a remarkable year of academic excellence, earning state championship honors across a wide spectrum of disciplines. Our students distinguished themselves in STEM events including Number Sense, Calculator, Math, and Science, while also achieving top honors in the humanities through Spanish, Literary Criticism, Ready Writing, and Spelling. These victories, alongside standout success in Social Studies and Current Events, reflect an unwavering commitment to academic stewardship and the development of each student's God-given potential. The ripple effect of these achievements extends far beyond the trophy case, inspiring younger students to dream boldly and reminding our entire community of what dedication and faith can accomplish together. Each championship represents countless hours of study, mentorship, and prayerful perseverance — qualities that will serve these young scholars long after their days at GFCS. By excelling in both the sciences and the humanities, our students demonstrate the true fruit of a well-rounded, Christ-centered education that nurtures the whole person: mind, character, and spirit. We are confident that these hard-won skills and habits will open doors to bright futures, equipping our graduates to lead, serve, and shine in whatever calling God places before them. Above all, we give thanks for a school family that continues to pursue excellence not for its own sake, but as a joyful expression of stewarding the gifts our Creator has entrusted to each child.

SPEECH AND DEBATE WINS TAPPS STATE CHAMPIONSHIP The Speech and Debate program claimed the state championship this year, a testament to the commitment to shaping confident, articulate communicators. Students earned top honors across Original Oratory, Persuasive Speaking, Prose and Poetry Interpretation, Lincoln Douglas Debate, and Duet Acting, with several advancing to compete at both local and national levels. These achievements reflect our mission to develop authentic Christian leaders who speak with clarity, conviction, and purpose. FOUR COMPETE IN SUMMER NATIONAL SPEECH & DEBATE MEET Recently, four of our Speech and Debate team members competed in the National Speech & Debate Meet. Owen Little came home as a quarterfinalist in prose interpretation, placing in the top 30 of 250 competitors in the US. Speech Captain Zane Duffy continued to impress, becoming a double-octafinalist. Zane and Owen also competed in Duo Interpretation, placing in the top third nationally. Lastly, supplemental members Josh Hancock and Carson Thomas competed in expository speaking and extemporaneous debate, respectively, receiving positive feedback and strong results.

Grapevine Faith Christian School has earned a remarkable distinction. For the 2025–2026 school year, our Speech & Debate program has been named an NSDA Leading Chapter, a first in the history of GFCS. The National Speech & Debate Association will formally honor our chapter at the District Competition this February. This recognition reflects far more than a single moment of success. It celebrates the steady growth, discipline, and heart of a program shaped by students who give their very best.

WHAT THE LEADING CHAPTER HONOR MEANS

Each year, the NSDA awards the Leading Chapter designation to one school in each district. The honor goes to the chapter with the highest accumulated total of NSDA members and degrees. In other words, it rewards sustained participation and dedication across an entire school year, not just a strong showing at a single tournament. The scale of this achievement makes it especially meaningful. The Yellow Rose District spans more than 55 public and private schools across Texas. Out of all of them, GFCS rose to the top.

HIGH SCHOOL ACADEMICS | SPEECH & DEBATE

A HISTORIC FIRST FOR SPEECH & DEBATE: GFCS NAMED NSDA LEADING CHAPTER

Nationally, the NSDA has described Leading Chapter recipients as representing roughly the top 3% of member schools, with only one chapter recognized per district. Our students now stand among the finest Speech & Debate programs in the country.

A TEAM COMMITTED TO GROWTH

This award tells a story of momentum. Our program is growing, and our students are choosing to invest in one another's success. Last year, they set ambitious goals as individuals and as a team. This year, they are reaching even higher. That growth is measured in more than trophies and degrees. Our students are memorizing and living out the truth of Ephesians 4:14–15, learning to speak the truth in love and to stand firm with maturity and conviction. If you pass one of them in the hallway, ask them to recite it. You may be surprised and encouraged by what you hear. This is the heart of our mission at GFCS: preparing students not only to argue well, but to think clearly, speak with integrity, and grow in wisdom and faith.

GRATITUDE TO OUR COMMUNITY

An achievement like this belongs to many hands. We are deeply grateful to the families, faculty, and friends whose steady support makes our Speech & Debate program possible. Congratulations to our Speech & Debate students for their hard work and dedication, and to our faculty advisors and coaches, Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Findley, whose leadership and guidance have been instrumental in achieving this well-deserved honor.

Leadership At Grapevine Faith, leadership is more than a skill—it's a calling woven into every part of the student experience. Our mission is to develop and graduate authentic Christian leaders who are equipped to influence their communities and the world with confidence and purpose. Whether guiding one person or one thousand, our Lions learn to stand firm in their faith while gaining real-world skills that carry far beyond the classroom. They travel independently, lead meetings, connect with top officials, and serve others with a heart shaped by Christ. Here are just a few of the highlights from our 2025–2026 year that show how Faith prepares leaders for life.

Leadership Through C-Suite Exposure This year marked our 8th Annual C-Suite Leadership Event, welcoming leaders from every industry to interview, advise, and pour wisdom into our students. These remarkable men and women connected with Lions face to face, sharpening their vision and preparing them to lead with excellence in any calling God places before them.

Leadership Through Lion Leadership Travel Our Lion Leadership Program takes students far beyond the classroom, blending business travel and mission work into unforgettable, one-of-a-kind experiences. Alongside their peers, students have journeyed to India, San Antonio, Washington D.C., Boston, and Costa Rica learning to navigate new places, cultures, and challenges with confidence. Each trip builds independence, deepens faith, and opens their eyes to the many ways God calls them to lead and serve.

Leadership Through the Celebration of Life Celebrate Life invites students to view the sanctity of life through the lens of Christcentered leadership. Through worship, powerful speakers, meaningful small groups, and more, students explored what it means to honor and protect the value of every life. This gathering encouraged our Lions to lead with compassion, conviction, and a deeper appreciation for God's greatest gift.

Leadership Through Industry Exposure: Inaugural Career Symposium This year, Grapevine Faith launched its inaugural Career Symposium—a landmark event that brought together professionals from a wide range of industries to engage directly with our students. Through dynamic panels and meaningful conversation, Lions gained a firsthand look at the many paths God may place before them, from business and medicine to ministry and beyond. It was a powerful reminder that excellence and faith can go hand in hand in every field of work.

& Legacy This year, 12 of our kindergarten students marked their very first graduation day as legacy students — children whose parents once walked these same hallways as Grapevine Faith Lions. It's a powerful testament to the trust families place in this school, not just for one generation, but for the next. These parents didn't simply choose a school; they returned to a community that shaped their faith, their character, and their calling—and chose to give that same gift to their children. At Grapevine Faith, we don't just build leaders; we build families rooted in faith, and we are deeply honored to be part of a legacy that spans generations. Welcome home, Lions.

The Heartbeat of Friday Nights When the lights come on and the crowd fills the stands, something remarkable happens at Grapevine Faith. The energy rises, the noise builds, and three extraordinary groups take center stage to lead the charge. Our cheer squad, Lionettes, and drumline don't just support the game—they power the spirit that makes every Lions event unforgettable.

The Spark That Ignites the Crowd Our cheer squad sets the tone from the very first whistle. With crisp routines, bold stunts, and unstoppable enthusiasm, they turn quiet moments into roaring cheers and close games into electric showdowns. From cadences that echo through the stands to features that stop the show, our drumline delivers power and precision in equal measure. Their skill has placed them among the very best in Texas, a testament to the talent and commitment that define this remarkable group.

In Case You Missed It...This One Bears Repeating! Grapevine Faith officially dedicated the Dallas Road gym, naming it “LeBeaux Court” on January 13, honoring longtime educator and leader Nolan LeBeaux for a lifetime of faithful service to the school. “Paul wrote in Romans 12:10, challenging us to be devoted to one another in love by honoring one another above ourselves. If there's ever been a man who quietly lived out that verse day after day, decade after decade, I think you would agree it's Nolan LeBeaux,” Dr. Ed Smith, president of the school, said at the dedication. Mr. LeBeaux started his career in Christian education in Louisiana, coaching basektball before moving to Texas in 1978, later becoming headmaster of Grapevine Faith Christian School. He hired staff, onboarded teachers, and became the school’s first junior high principal. “Over the years, Mr. LeBeaux has been known as a mentor, prayer warrior, handwritten note writer, Bible teacher, gardener, and devoted family man, as well as a passionate LSU fan,” Smith said. The dedication was attended by LeBeaux’s family and many friends of Nolan and his wife, Laura. Click here to view the photo gallery.

The Impact of Your Giving 2025-2026

We are deeply grateful for the partnership and generosity of the Faith community. Every resource entrusted to us carries the responsibility of faithful stewardship in our pursuit to advance the mission: developing and graduating authentic Christian leaders. This year, nearly $2 million in cash gifts and commitments, along with significant non-cash support, helped make that work possible.

YOUR GIVING AT WORK Learning, Innovation & STEAM New high school laboratory equipment and 3D printers on both campuses expanded hands-on STEAM learning. Classroom and campus technology support creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Exterior video security systems were completed on both campuses. Movement, Training & Student Life The Worth Street auxiliary gym received updated paint and lighting, and adjacent outdoor storage. The refreshed space expanded capacity for elementary and junior high PE, recreation, exercise, and offseason training. A separate generous gift added a sand volleyball court and 60 yard sand training track for conditioning and development across multiple sports. Progress is now underway on a new outdoor activity zone at our Worth Street campus. Thoughtfully designed to inspire active play and hands-on learning, this space will feature a fresh sod surface, a dedicated wiffle ball field, engaging climbing equipment, and a rich collection of native Texas trees and bushes, giving students a living classroom to explore and discover the many species that call our state home. North End Zone Terrace The terrace is now in use for football games and other events, with finishing touches underway, expanding seating options, improving drainage and providing a safe and community driven space for campus events. This flexible space will support athletics, academics, the arts, student activities, and community gatherings. Missional Outreach Thanksgiving basket outreach supported local families. Giving also supported alumni serving on the mission field, extending the impact of generosity beyond our campuses. Through the generous hearts of our donors, we are able to sustain vital financial support for our mission partnership with Pastor Veer in India. Not only are funds provided for much needed projects, but our students experience serving as the hands and feet of Jesus each and every year, impacting not only the lives of the boys in the orphanage, but our students as well.

FAITH FORWARD

The Faith Forward campaign continued to make meaningful progress this year. To date, we have received $7.8m in cash and commitments towards our $24m vision, allowing us to complete our safety and security initiatives, a long list of campus improvements and the north end zone terrace. We are now just $1,000,000 away from fully funding the next three current campaign priorities: Classroom Reallocation & Learning Optimization Maximizing classroom space and ensuring learning environments reflect the quality of education our families expect. Renovation to maximize classroom count on the Worth Street campus. STEAM Program & Curriculum Expansion Expanding hands-on learning, including outdoor learning environments, that develop creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Initial Stadium Finish Out — Phase One In addition to the completed north end zone terrace, breaking ground on the 700-seat home grandstands and improved visitor seating as the next step in the vision for the stadium and surrounding spaces.

WHAT’S NEXT? Following the funding of the current campaign priorities, we will set our sights on the second phase of our stadium finish out — a 30,000 square foot facility directly behind the grandstands that will house a storm shelter, women’s and men’s locker rooms, training areas, coaches’ offices, concessions space and fan restrooms.

GIVING AT FAITH Historically, generosity at Grapevine Faith has been expressed through three primary areas of giving: ANNUAL GIVING, CAMPAIGN GIVING, and LEGACY GIVING. Each played a distinct role in advancing the mission of Grapevine Faith.

ANNUAL GIVING: A Margin for Excellence Fueling the Mission and Enhancing the Experience for Every Student Beginning this year, Faith Gives, the Lion Legacy Fund, and proceeds from the Annual Gala come together as one unified annual fund: The Faith Fund. Through this fund, generosity strengthens the student experience and advances our mission year after year.

FAITH GIVES

The Faith Fund creates a margin for excellence beyond what tuition provides, allowing us to enhance the student experience in meaningful ways across the school. Gifts may support enriched classroom experiences, innovative programs, student development, spiritual formation, campus improvements, technology, special initiatives and, above all, advance our mission to develop and graduate authentic Christian leaders.

CAMPAIGN GIVING: Advancing Major Priorities Campaign giving supports significant priorities beyond annual operations, including facilities, academic programs, and other major initiatives. These priorities will change over time. The Faith Forward campaign is our current campaign, focused on classroom optimization, STEAM expansion, and the finish out of our stadium.

LEGACY GIVING: Investing in Lasting Kingdom Impact Legacy giving includes both endowment gifts and planned gifts made through estate planning, creating a lasting investment in Grapevine Faith and the students God entrusts to our care. Endowment gifts are invested for the long term, with earnings used to support important priorities. The current endowment fund at Faith helps bolster needs-based financial aid by covering a portion of the tuition assistance awarded each year. Growing our tuition assistance endowment strengthens our ability to welcome mission-aligned families who desire a Faith education but may have a financial gap. Planned and estate gifts create lasting Kingdom impact, allowing your legacy to help equip future generations of Christian leaders.
