That said, wanted to let you know that – COVID-19 be hanged – YOUR Grapevine Chamber is still hard at work advocating on our businesses’ and citizens’ behalf. Even though some of the Chamber staff are working remotely, RaDonna and Michael are in the office – at least 6’ apart – and via ZOOM conference meetings, the business of the Chamber is still being conducted. I want to share with you some of their daily assignments: Member Calls - together with

our Ambassadors, staff has divided up the membership list to enquire how we may be of assistance during this challenging time and just to listen to those who need to connect. Meetings/Seminars – We are working with some of our committees who want to set up ZOOM meetings. The AMP’T Board had their meeting yesterday. The Women’s Division Board has one scheduled for next Tuesday, the Ambassadors will be Zooming on Wednesday and more are being scheduled. Besides keeping our committees connected, we are also working with SBA, SBDC and SCORE to create ZOOM seminars to assist businesses during this time.

Conference Calls – RaDonna is in touch regularly with the City of Grapevine Emergency Management Team, as well as state officials to get the latest information on how to assist in recovery, state and national Chambers and other groups to stay on top of latest intel and community assistance opportunities.

Invoicing – Per the Executive Board, membership invoices are still going out, however, we have approved the ability for the time being to extend your dues dates for up to 90 days. It will be important for our business community to still be involved and engaged as we come out of Information Sharing to this together!
