Tour Professional Category Approved: April 2026 1. Purpose This special membership category at Granite Golf Club (GGC) is designed to support professional golfers that meet the requirements listed below. The selected members will represent GGC at all events during the competitive season. This category is designed to support the professional golfers in maximizing their playing potential, while effectively representing the Club. 2. Annual Fees and Privileges • Annual dues are waived. • Full privileges provided to the golf course, practice area, and clubhouse. • Regular guest fees and cart fees apply. 3. Eligibility To be eligible for the Tour Professional Category, an applicant must hold active, full-year or partial playing privileges on a recognized, sanctioned professional tour. Qualifying tours include, but are not limited to: • Tier 1: PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, DP World Tour. • Tier 2: Korn Ferry Tour, Epsom Tour, PGA Tour Americas, Challenge Tour. • National/Regional: Recognized top-tier national circuits (e.g., PGA Tour Canada/Latino América) subject to Board approval. Note: Status must be "Active" on one of the listed professional tours. 4. Conditions • Limited to a maximum of one female and one male professional annually. • Applications may be submitted by current members or new applicants to the Club. • Applications must include a covering letter, professional playing resume, and a planned playing schedule for the season. • Selected individuals will have no prior discipline issues at GGC or other clubs • GGC reserves the right to review participation during the season. Failure to meet stated playing commitments or ambassador expectations may result in revocation of privileges. • GGC is not obligated to fill one or both positions if applicants do not meet the established criteria. 5. Expectations & Club Representation Members in this category are regarded as ambassadors of GGC. Requirements include: • Professional Conduct: Adherence to GGC’s code of conduct both on-site and during competition. • Club Branding: Selected individuals will display the Granite Golf Club logo on apparel and equipment where tour contracts permit. • Member Engagement: Participation in at least one club-sanctioned event per year (e.g., a "Pro-Am" day, a clinic, or a season-opening dinner) to foster community among members. 6. Selection Process • Applications will be accepted between November 1 and February 15 of each year. • Proposed selection(s) will be made by the Golf Professional staff and the GM. Applicants will not be advised of the proposed selections until board approval has been completed. • The board will review and approve the selected applicants (if applicable) by May 1 each year. • Selection will be based on the individuals’ tour status, competitive resume, playing schedule and professionalism and cultural fit – weighted criteria below. • The GM will communicate the final decision(s) of the board to all applicants.
