Leave of Absence Policies Last Updated: May 2026 Granite Golf Club (“The Club”) recognizes that Members may, from time to time, experience circumstances that temporarily limit their ability to fully utilize their membership. The Leave of Absence (“LOA”) program is intended to provide reasonable flexibility while supporting fairness, membership sustainability, and the long-term interests of the Club. The Club maintains two separate Leave of Absence programs: 1. General Leave of Absence; and 2. Intermediate Leave of Absence. Each program is intended to address different membership circumstances and categories and is subject to separate eligibility criteria, privileges, limitations, and operational guidelines established by the Club. 1. General LOA 1.1 Eligibility and Approval The General LOA program is intended for Members experiencing temporary extenuating circumstances, including medical, parental, compassionate, or similar situations that may significantly limit participation in Club activities. Applications in writing are subject to Management review and approval in accordance with Club procedures. Leaves are generally temporary in nature and granted on a seasonal basis. Supporting documentation may be requested where appropriate. The Club reserves discretion regarding eligibility, duration, limitations, and reinstatement conditions. 1.2 Financial and Club Privileges Approved General LOA Members remain subject to certain financial obligations, including applicable capital fees, assessments or other mandatory charges, as determined by the Club. Club privileges include: • Limited to six (6) rounds of golf per season at the regular guest green fee rate • Use of practice facilities is permitted only pre-round • Use of dining facilities and clubhouse throughout the season Club restrictions include: • Guests, or play as a guest of another member • Participation in competitive and non-competitive club events 2. Intermediate LOA 2.1 Eligibility and Approval The Intermediate Leave of Absence program is a benefit available to eligible Intermediate Members and is intended to provide temporary flexibility while supporting the integrity, capacity management, and long-term sustainability of the Intermediate membership category. Eligible Intermediate Members may apply annually in writing for a LOA in accordance with Club procedures and timelines established by Management.
