WHO CAN ATTEND THE PERFORMANCE GOLF CAMP? Due to the nature these camps we have set the ages at 10 to 16. This camp is available to junior members, children, grandchildren, and nieces/nephews of Granite Golf Club members. Transportation to and from the Club is not provided.

PROGRAM
This week long program is designed for young golfers who are passionate about the game. The Performance Golf Camp is focused on developing golfers and providing them with the tools to play on a competitive level. These camps will be facilitated by a PGA of Canada Professional in small groups. With a ratio of four campers to one instructor, improvement in all aspects of the game will be achieved. It our desire at Granite Golf Club that this program helps young golfers develop a deeper understanding of the game, sharpen their skills and create memories that will last a lifetime.

LEAD INSTRUCTOR Assistant Professional Mike Vance is the lead instructor for all junior camps and clinics. Mike is an accomplished player who competes around the province in professional events. As a graduate of the Professional Golf Management program at Humber College, he has spent many years honing his craft as an instructor and player.

Our one hour golf clinics are designed to introduce young golfers to the game through a variety drills and fun activities over a four week period. Each golfer will receive instruction from a PGA of Canada professional on all aspects of the game. From chipping and putting to driving and iron play; we hope to turn your child into a golfer. Come for all four or pick and choose the weeks that work for you.

CREATE YOUR OWN CLINIC If you have young golfers that would like to learn together, contact Mike Vance to make arrangements. Maximum of 6 golfers per group with a cost of $25 per person, per week based one hour per week. Private Junior Lessons We feel 45 minutes is the ideal time for a junior private lesson. Lessons can be booked with Mike Vance or one of our other professionals to suit your schedule.

JUNIOR GOLF LEAGUE $150 PLUS HST 12 GOLFERS MAXIMUM PER WEEK Ages 10 - 16 Must commit to all 6 weeks. This 6-week league runs on Wednesday evenings starting June 8th and ends on July 13 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. Lead instructor Mike Vance will offer 45 minutes of instruction on the SGA. The remainder of the time will be spent on the golf course. What your junior golfer can expect: Full swing, short game and putting instruction On course instruction Golf etiquette and rules instruction Fun competitions on last evening As in many other sports, leagues encourage participation in a friendly environment. We hope this league fosters new relationships amongst junior golfers. This is a great opportunity for junior golfers to build lasting relationship here at Granite Golf Club.
