A strong regional economy is built on strong businesses and strong businesses thrive through connection, community support, advocacy, and shared purpose The Chamber of Commerce is proud to introduce our Milestone Members Edition, created to celebrate the businesses and organizations whose long-standing commitment to our Chamber, and by extension our community, has helped shape the economic and social fabric of our region.
Our Milestone Members represent leadership, resilience, and a belief in the value of collaboration. Their continued engagement strengthens our business community, supports job creation, and contributes to regional prosperity. Beyond their economic impact, these businesses consistently invest in their communities - giving back through service, mentorship, sponsorship, and local leadership.
As a Chamber, our role is to advocate, celebrate, connect, and support our members. This program allows us to celebrate these businesses, showcase their achievements, and highlight the stories behind their success -while reinforcing our commitment to stand alongside them as their voice and support system.
Most importantly, this initiative is our way of saying thank you.
Thank you for your commitment to the Chamber. Thank you for your investment in this region. Thank you for helping build a strong, connected business community.
We are proud to celebrate our Milestone Members in Chamber Connection and look forward to continuing this celebration - together.

Hosting events, building relationships, and participating in workshops have helped Rentco stay engaged and connected to the region they serve.

Being 100% locally owned is a point of pride for Rentco. Their 60th anniversary celebration was a moment to reflect on decades of growth, service, and collaboration with the community. Beyond business, Rentco actively supports local initiatives, demonstrating a commitment to the people and projects that make the Peace Region thrive.

Your membership does more for you if you participate in Chamber events.” This philosophy has guided the company for over half a century, ensuring continued growth, strong relationships, and a meaningful impact on the community.
As Rentco moves into the next chapter, their focus remains on serving clients, supporting local initiatives, and maintaining the values that have guided them since 1963.

Long before backyard weddings, summer landscaping projects, and sparkling holiday displays became weekend staples, Rentco’s Tool Shed was already part of the picture. Operating as a subsidiary of Rentco Equipment Ltd. from its own Grande Prairie location, the Tool Shed has built its reputation as the local choice for homeowner equipment sales and rentals, along with tent

rentals and professional Christmas light installation. Their team helps turn plans into reality whether that’s preparing a yard for summer, hosting a community gathering, or lighting up a home during the holidays. For many residents, they’ve become a familiar first stop when projects move from idea to action.
Over the years, what people rent and how they use it has
changed. Decades ago, their lineup even included shotguns and canoes. Today, the focus is on lawn and garden equipment, event tents, and seasonal light installation, reflecting how the community lives, celebrates, and works around home. That ability to adapt while staying locally rooted has kept the business relevant, reliable, and connected through generations.

Being 100% locally owned has always been central to their identity. The relationships built through local business networks and face-to-face connections have helped them stay visible and trusted. Celebrating their 60th anniversary with the community was more than a milestone it was a reminder that their story is closely tied to the homes, events, and neighbourhood traditions they’ve supported for decades.

“We are proud to be 100% locally owned and grateful for the opportunity to celebrate our 60th anniversary with the greater community that has supported us along the way.”
