As we look back over the first two quarters of 2026, I am filled with an overwhelming sense of gratitude and pride The dedication, talent, and heart you bring to Grace Health every single day are what make our organization truly exceptional Together, we have achieved remarkable milestones over the past six months, and I want to share a few highlights that reflect your incredible hard work.
Earlier this year, I had the privilege of representing Grace Health in Washington, D C , at the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) Policy & Issues Forum During my time on Capitol Hill, I met with the offices of Congressman Hal Rogers, Senator Mitch McConnell, and Senator Rand Paul It was an honor to proudly showcase our team’s accomplishments, advocate fiercely for the protection of the 340B program, and request vital increases in our base grant funding to support the vital work you do.
Our impact relies entirely on our people, and I am thrilled to share several exciting updates regarding our provider team Please join me in celebrating Dr Christina Butler (Medical Campus Pediatrics) and Dr Ashlee Robinson (Levi Center Clinic), who have both renewed their agreements with Grace Health We are incredibly fortunate to retain their expertise and compassionate care We are also excited to officially welcome a couple of outstanding new providers to our family: Trisha Spray, APRN (Medical Campus), and Letitia Holland-Cundiff, LPCC-S, Director of Behavioral Health.
In May, I accepted an invitation to present at the OCHIN Learning Forum in New Orleans It was an incredible opportunity to share Kentucky’s Rural Health Transformation Program funding proposals with a broader audience With great enthusiasm, I highlighted our Grace Health University program, which is rightfully being recognized as a national best practice for workforce development and education.
Speaking of Grace University, a true highlight of my year so far was attending our April 2026 Pinning Ceremony We celebrated an extraordinary group of graduates who achieved a 100% pass rate across both classes! Beyond this cohort's flawless success, we also crossed a massive organizational milestone: a cumulative 533 certifications earned through Grace University Your commitment to continuous growth is inspiring.
Last but certainly not least, I am elated to share that Grace Health has once again been honored as one of the Best Places to Work in Kentucky by the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, thanks to your submissions This marks our fourth consecutive year receiving this prestigious recognition This award isn't just a title it is a direct reflection of the culture of support, respect, and excellence that YOU build every single day.

In this issue, we welcome two new providers and 35 new employees, strengthening our teams and expanding our ability to serve our communities We also celebrated the pinning ceremony for the newest Grace University class, recognizing the growth and accomplishments of our emerging healthcare professionals.
Several internal wins and continued community outreach efforts further highlight our commitment to excellence, innovation, and service across southeastern Kentucky. We are also proud to celebrate our fourth consecutive Best Places to Work win, reflecting the dedication and teamwork of our incredible staff who make Grace Health a great place to work and receive care

Dr Butler's renewed commitment ensures continued pediatric access for families throughout southeastern Kentucky
Dr. Butler has been an honored team member since 2023. In 2025, she was recognized with a High Five Award in honor of the exceptional care and kindness she demonstrates every day.
In addition to providing outstanding care to children and families, Dr. Butler serves as Chair of the Pediatrics Department, helping lead and support the continued growth and success of pediatric services across Grace Health.
Dr. Butler always takes the time to truly listen, care, and make both parents and children feel seen and understood.
It brings us joy to share that Ashlee Robinson, MD, recently renewed her contract with Grace Health’s Levi Center Clinic. Since joining Grace Health in February 2021, Dr. Robinson has provided compassionate, high-quality care to patients throughout the London area.
In addition to her work at the Levi Center Clinic, Dr. Robinson has been an integral member of Grace Health’s Hep C Care Team, helping expand access to treatment, improve health outcomes, and support patients on their journey to a cure.
We are grateful for Dr Robinson’s dedication to our patients and communities and are thankful she will continue serving patients at our Levi Center location in London for years to come.

Tish holds an M Ed , NCC certification, and LPCC-S supervisor status She also earned a Graduate Certificate in Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology, bringing a strong foundation in evidence-based behavioral health practice.
Grace Health is excited to welcome Letitia “Tish” Holland-Cundiff, who joined the organization in late March 2026 as the Director of Behavioral Health
In her role, she provides both clinical care and departmental leadership across behavioral health services, helping guide program development while also working directly with patients. She oversees daily operations within the department with a focus on expanding access to care and strengthening service delivery throughout the organization.
Her leadership strengthens Grace Health's behavioral health services by expanding access clinical excellence, and enhancing services for patients throughout the communities we serve.
She is passionate about helping individuals build practical, skills-based tools to navigate challenges, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen overall well-being Her approach emphasizes empowerment, self-advocacy, and equipping both patients and team members with the skills needed for long-term success.
Grace Health Medical Campus welcomed Trisha Spray, APRN, FNP-C, back to the Grace Health team in early June 2026. Trisha is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in the medical field.
She is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and helping patients achieve their best possible health outcomes. Her background includes experience in pain management and infectious disease, and she works closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving function, quality of life, and overall well-being.
Her return expands access to primary care services at the Medical Campus, reinforcing Grace Health's commitment to improving timely access to compassionate, high-quality healthcare throughout southeastern Kentucky.
Before returning to Grace Health, she most recently served as a Nurse Practitioner in pain management in London, KY, and previously provided comprehensive primary and acute care services in Corbin, KY.
Trisha is excited to return to the Grace Health family and continue making a positive impact in the lives of patients and the community.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, creating memories, and embracing new adventures. She values family, personal growth, and living life to the fullest.

We welcome Stacey Hubbard as our new Manager of Payer Relations. Stacey joined Grace Health in January and brings more than a decade of experience in finance, operations, and leadership
Her background includes serving as a Chief Finance Officer for a Kentucky school district, as well as managing a dental office where she gained valuable experience in patient billing, insurance, and daily operations. She holds an MBA and has led accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting efforts while supporting strong billing and revenue cycle operations.
In her role at Grace Health, Stacey is passionate about improving revenue cycle processes, supporting her team, and ensuring both patients and providers have a positive experience She is committed to building strong relationships and helping advance the organization's mission through effective payer relations and operational excellence.
Outside of work, Stacey enjoys spending time with her husband, Brian, and their four children. Sh values her faith, loves making memories with family and friends, enjoys traveling, and can often b found cheering on her children at their activities
We are thrilled to welcome Christy Baker as the new Non-Clinical Support Manager at Grace Health She brings several years of healthcare leadership experience in clinic operations, team development, and process improvement. Throughout her career, she has enjoyed helping teams grow while maintaining a strong focus on delivering excellent care and service to patients.
A lifelong resident of southeastern Kentucky, Christy is passionate about serving the community she calls home She believes in leading with integrity, collaboration, and compassion Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Tyson, and their two children, Jannah and Isaac Faith and family are central to her life, and she is excited to join the Grace Health team and support its mission of improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve.
We are proud to welcome Tiffany Turner, LPN, as the CMO Clinical Administrative Assistant at Grace Health. Tiffany and her family returned to Corbin in 2023 following her husband's retirement from the military, allowing them to settle back into his hometown. Having previously lived in the area from 2006 to 2009, she is excited to once again be part of the community.
Throughout her nursing career, Tiffany has primarily served in Military Medical Clinics and Surgery Centers, providing care and support to active-duty service members, their families, and military retirees. Her extensive healthcare experience, professionalism, and commitment to service make her a valuable addition to the Grace Health team. Tiffany looks forward to this new chapter and to working alongside her colleagues in support of Grace Health’s mission.

CEO Mike Stanley, Jeff Treasurer of the Board of Directors, and Director of Com Programs Mike Wynn (pictured below) joined fellow advo critical discussions on strengthening healthcare policies, continued funding for Community Health Centers (CHC improving access to care for Kentucky residents.
During their time in the nation’s capital, our leaders met with officials and their staff to emphasize the vital role Community Centers (CHCs) play in delivering high-quality, affordable healt underserved populations. For the fourth consecutive year, Grace Health has earned a spot among Kentucky’s Best Places to Work. The annual award, presented by the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) celebrates 100 companies across the Commonwealth that demonstrate excellence in workplace culture and employee policies.
The Best Places to Work competition evaluates organizations in three categories based on company size: small (15149 employees), medium (150-499 employees), and large (500 or more employees) Workforce Research Group oversees the selection process, which includes an in-depth review of company policies and confidential employee surveys At Grace Health, employees were invited to participate in the survey, helping to showcase the organization’s commitment to fostering a positive work environment We are proud to have placed 24th in the medium category, reflecting the dedication of our team and the culture we continue to build together.

In Knox County, Dr. Goutham Hebbalmath was named Best Pediatrician in The Mountain Advocate’s annual Knox County’s Best contest, which recognizes outstanding businesses, organizations, and individuals who live or work primarily in Knox County. The Grace Health Manchester Clinic was also honored by readers of the Manchester Enterprise, receiving Best of the Best Doctor’s and Dentist Office for Clay County.

We are pleased to announce that Grace Health’s Hyden, Levi Center, Manchester, Medical Campus, Mountain View, Pineville, and Women’s Care locations have been recognized by the American Heart Association (AHA) and American Medical Association (AMA) for outstanding work in preventing heart disease.
Grace Health recognized team members with Safety Awards for their commitment to leading by example. These awards honor employees who promptly reported near-miss incidents situations that had the potential to result in harm but were identified, reported, and addressed before a more serious event could occur. By speaking up and taking swift action, these team members help strengthen Grace Health's culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Grace Health also established a Safety Committee to review WorkSafe ideas, safety incidents, and near-misses to improve safety for both patients and staff. Employees are encouraged to submit safety concerns, share improvement ideas, and recognize coworkers who go above and beyond as Safety Stars.
On Popcorn for Eli Day, the Medical Campus Pediatrics team (right) and others across Grace Health honored the memory of Eli Hill, a sweet and exuberant boy whose love for life brought joy to the world around him. Eli passed away in a tragic accident in 2023, but his memory reminds us of the simple moments that make life unique In Eli’s honor and to keep his light alive, we shared his favorite snack
Grace Health hosted a health event at the Corbin Senior Citizen Center to share information about resources and services available to help individuals stay healthy, informed, and connected Topics included preventive health education, medication reviews and medication safety, coping with stress and maintaining mental wellness, and community resources and support services

Grace Health is committed to caring for our community wherever the need exists. Through our outreach efforts, our team provides care and support within local jail systems across Bell, Clay, Knox, Laurel, and Whitley counties, serving areas where the need is great and resources are often limited.
Our behavioral health (pictured left) and dental teams play a vital role in the Clay and Knox County Detention Centers, helping to meet essential mental health and dental care needs for individuals in these facilities. We are grateful for our partnerships with local detention centers, whose collaboration allows us to come alongside them in this important work and serve those in need. By extending care beyond our clinic walls, we are improving health outcomes and helping create pathways to a healthier future for all.
In April, Dr Goutham Hebbalmath from Grace Health Medical Campus Pediatrics joined Amber Black, Community Health Worker, and Sam Joseph, Patient Navigator at the Medical Campus, in participating in the Action for Autism Walk in London
Grace Health was proud to support this meaningful event by promoting autism awareness, handing out pinwheels and fidget toys, and providing information about our behavioral health services. Events like these offer valuable opportunities to connect with families, share resources, and help foster greater understanding and acceptance of individuals with autism.
We are honored to be part of events that bring our community together to support inclusion and awareness.
Grace Health was honored to once again sponsor the 13th Region Basketball Tournament hosted this year by Oneida Baptist Institute This annual event showcases some of the region’s most talented athletes, and Grace Health was proud to support the teams, players, and fans throughout the competition.
The tournament featured thrilling matchups, culminating in championship games where North Laurel claimed victory in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions, securing the regional titles and earning a spot in the Sweet 16 state competition
Grace Health was happy to spend the week set up on-site at the tournament, interacting with fans and sharing information about all of our services. We also tossed out free Grace Health T-shirts to fans in the stands and held prize drawings for Stanley bundles, Beats headphones, and an iPad.
We enjoy every opportunity to be out in the community and connect with those we serve. Events like this also provide a great opportunity to see your providers outside of the clinic.
Grace Health employees showed their support for cardiovascular health by wearing red in recognition of National Wear Red Day in February, an annual observance dedicated to raising awareness about heart disease and the importance of prevention Team members across Grace Health joined together to help spread awareness about the risks of heart disease, encourage healthy lifestyle choices, and highlight the importance of early detection and treatment. Through efforts like these, Grace Health continues to promote healthier communities and support initiatives that improve the overall well-being of those we serve.
Grace Health was proud to participate in Kentucky Lobby Day at the State Capitol in Frankfort, where organizational leaders met with state lawmakers to advocate for policies that support the health and well-being of communities across the Commonwealth

Throughout the day, the team discussed several important healthcare priorities, including support for the Heart Disease Prevention Program, expanding CPR training in Kentucky schools, prior authorization reform, physician wellness initiatives, and efforts to recruit and retain more physicians across the state.
By engaging with legislators and sharing the needs of patients, providers, and community health centers, Grace Health continues to advocate for policies that improve access to quality healthcare and strengthen the future of healthcare in Kentucky.

Grace Health Community Health Workers Johnny Benge and Amber Black, along with Kynector Carla Henson, (pictured right) participated in Goodwill Opportunities Partner Day, helping connect community members with valuable resources and support.
Grace Health hosted the Kentucky Blood Center for a community blood drive that collected 15 units of blood to help save lives. A special thank you goes to Marlee Arthur, Medical Records Lead, for coordinating the event, as well as everyone who donated or helped spread the word. Be on the lookout for future blood drives and opportunities to give back.

Stay Protected: Your Quick Guide to UV Protection Month
July is UV Protection Month, a perfect time to enjoy the outdoors, but it's also important to protect your skin from the sun's ultraviolet (UV) rays While a little sunshine can boost your mood and help your body produce vitamin D, too much UV exposure can increase your risk of sunburn, premature skin aging, eye damage, and skin cancer
UV rays can damage your skin in as little as 15 minutes on a sunny day
Up to 80% of the sun's UV rays can pass through clouds, meaning you can still get sunburned on overcast days
Water, sand, concrete, and even grass can reflect UV rays, increasing your exposure
Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States, but it is also one of the most preventable
Simple Ways to Stay Protected
✔ Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher every day
✔ Reapply sunscreen every two hours, or more often if you're swimming or sweating
✔ Wear sunglasses that block 100% of UVA and UVB rays
✔ Choose lightweight clothing, wide-brimmed hats, and seek shade when possible
✔ Avoid prolonged sun exposure during peak hours, typically between 10 a m and 4 p m
Protecting your skin doesn't have to be complicated. A few simple precautions can help keep you and your family safe while enjoying all the fun that summer has to offer. Remember: healthy skin is something worth protecting all year long.
