1 DAY
FROM RIVER TO OLD TOWN
Morning
Kayak the Neris. A guided kayak route starting within the city, past the Old Town skyline. Not a paddler? The public river boat covers the same stretch with none of the effort.
Midday
Riverside lunch. Baltas Tiltas food hall, Užupio Kavinė or Panama Food Garden — or straight off the kayaks at Rivertown or Upės 5.
Afternoon
Old Town on foot or by bike. Cover the historic centre at an active pace — no long transfers between nature and culture. Guided bike tours cover more ground and can be extended into the river valleys.
Evening
Vibrant food scene. Busi Trečias, Bistro No. 2 or Burro Bar & Bistro — craft brewery or bistro dinner in a converted industrial space (Paupio Turgus food market also works for a lighter evening).

2 DAY
SKY HIGH & REGIONAL PARKS
Early morning
Hot-air balloon flight. In Vilnius or Trakai — weather permitting — over the Old Town and river valley, a rare sight in a European capital. Weather backup: Belmonto Nuotykių Parkas (Belmont Adventure Park) — a high-ropes and zipline course in a forested river valley just outside the centre, rain-friendly and still fully “active nature.”
Brunch
Cozy, Pirmas Blynas, Plus One or Lola. If the flight is in Trakai, try kibinai at Senoji Kibininė. Optional: visit Trakai Castle.
Midday
Cycle or hike — three routes to choose from. All of them start within reach of the centre, and all work on foot or on two wheels. Verkiai Regional Park — a classical manor above the Neris, the Green Lakes and pine forest, 20 minutes from the centre by bike. Pavilniai Regional Park — the Pūčkoriai outcrop, the highest in Lithuania, and the Vilnelė valley — reachable on foot straight from Užupis. The 100 km Trail Around Vilnius — a marked circular route around the whole city, split into ten sections of 9–19 km, each reachable by public transport. Pick one section for a half-day — most of it runs off-road through forest, which is why local trail runners built it. Shorter option closer in: the guided “Vingio istorijos” route through Vingis Park, on foot.
Afternoon
Two ways to finish — pick one. Slow it down — Beer SPA — a warm beer-wort bath, unlimited beer at the tap beside the tub and a sauna ritual to follow. Roughly two hours, indoors, no fitness required. Keep moving — City Wave — a standing-wave surf park in the middle of the city, boards and instructors on site, beginners welcome. Roughly one hour, and the most unexpected way to surf in a landlocked capital.
Evening
Dinner. Fabrikėlis or Tores Bravoras — both relaxed, unfussy and used to guests arriving straight from the trail; Urban Garden for a drink afterwards.

3 DAY
ORIENTEERING & TV TOWER
Morning
Orienteering game. Explore hidden places, Old Town courtyards and green spaces on foot — or with Pancars, a convoy of tiny Soviet-era Fiat 126s that the group drives itself from clue to clue. A memorable, active way to close the trip.
Midday
TV Tower & Edge Walk. At 326 metres, the tallest structure in Lithuania, with a deck at 165 metres and a 360° view over the city, the surrounding forests and, on a clear day, as far as Trakai. The Edge Walk takes small groups outside the glass in a harness, along the open ledge.
Lunch
Afternoon
Paukščių Takas — the TV Tower’s rotating restaurant.
Slow green finish. After an active morning, something gentle: the Vilnius University Botanical Garden in Kairėnai — nearly 200 hectares, the largest in the country, with extensive walking paths and collections including rhododendrons — or the Bernardine Gardens if the group would rather stay in the centre. A local honey and farmhouse cheese tasting could be arranged separately, subject to availability.
SOUVENIRS TO TAKE HOME
Sustainable and light to carry: freeze-dried Lithuanian berries and fruit at grocery stores, wooden and linen craft at the Local house or Linen tales, local honey and cheese at Halės Market.
