Heritage Open Days is a national celebration of the history, architecture and culture of our local towns and cities. In Southampton we’re opening the doors to some of the city’s most celebrated heritage sites, and the best part is it’s all free for you to enjoy! How to use this map Heritage Open Days is across two weekends and the opening times of the different sites may vary across these weeks. For details on opening times please see the key below. Buildings in grey are sites of historic interest but are now remains of buildings or sites, not of all which are still visible, but might give you a sense of what the medieval town once looked like.
