The Kennels’ Calendar of Events Welcome to the latest instalment of our 2015 Calendar of Events here at The Kennels. Contained within are a whole host of exciting events planned for June until September, from compelling talks, masterclasses, gastronomic delights, some fantastic parties including the Qatar Goodwood Festival Party and an evening of side splitting laughter with our new Comedy in the Country night, not forgetting your firm favourites; we know you won’t be short of choice. In between events, remember The Kennels is your home from home and a great place to entertain, indulge in fine wines and exquisite food in the restaurant, or just for a simple bite at the bar, and of course the ideal place to wile away the hours and relax. We look forward to seeing you at your clubhouse soon.

Join chefs at The Kennels as the ‘hungry gap’ is over and chefs across the land rejoice at the new shoots of spring. Asparagus, nasturtiums, Jersey Royals, elderflower and all manner of verdure delights such as runner beans and broad beans. Goodwood’s near legendary Three Friday Nights return with a bang on Friday 5 June as 2manydjs bring their eclectic style to the racecourse. Gorgon City’s ‘Ready For Your Love’ was one of 2014’s biggest dance hits, having been watched by over 17.5 million viewers on YouTube and reaching number four in the UK album chart. With this and a host of high-energy floor-fillers, Gorgon City come to Goodwood Racecourse for the second of our Three Friday Nights on Friday 12 June. The last of Goodwood’s hugely popular Three Friday Nights on Friday 19 June will see award-winning actor and DJ/musician Idris Elba bring his effortless cool to the racecourse. After the excitement and great sets, make your way to The Kennels, and continue the night with the Three Friday Nights After Party. £25 per person. Comedy in the Country presents Bark Out Loud at The Kennels. Come along and enjoy a fun-filled night with fantastic comedians. Highly entertaining and compelling to watch, Simon Feilder opens the evening, followed by Aideen McQueen, one of Ireland’s top female stand ups, having reached the final of “Funny Funny” comedy competition. Keeping the laughter coming is Jamie Gosney, with his punchy, gag-driven style that appeals to just about anyone, guaranteed to leave you wanting more. Closing the evening is Matt Welcome, one of the most entertaining young comedians to feature on the after dinner circuit.
