GOODWILL SAN ANTONIO CELEBRATED 80 YEARS
Goodwill San Antonio marked 80 years of community impact through team member celebrations, 80%-off store scavenger hunts, City of San Antonio mayoral proclamation, State of Texas resolution, and commemorative gala.
GOODWILL STOOD STRONG WITH KERRVILLE
Goodwill, alongside the American Red Cross, collected and processed over 30 tons of donated items, which were made available to the community at the Goodwill Distribution Center.
GOODWILL IS AN INCLUSIVE EMPLOYER
Within Goodwill’s Business Services, 88% of the direct labor employees working on federal contracts, are individuals with a documented disability.
EXPANDED TRAINING PROGRAMS
Our commitment to workforce development grew with the launch of a Manufacturing Boot Camp which trained 73 participants in its inaugural year. Additionally, 385 Goodwill team members completed at least one computer training course.
SA READY TO WORK PARTNERSHIP
Goodwill was named as a Prime Partner for the City of San Antonio’s SA Ready to Work initiative. Through this partnership, Goodwill will expand its career training and job placement services, providing more meaningful impact in our community.
MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS TEAM EARNED TOP HONORS
The Goodwill MarComm team earned seven awards, including Public Relations Society of America’s Del Oro Awards, and the American Marketing Association’s Marketing Excellence Awards for outstanding storytelling, social media, retail campaigns, and impact reporting.
