In May, we hosted our bi-annual ATL meeting, centered on strengthening presence in leadership. The session focused on how leaders show up for their teams through communication, consistency, and intentional engagement reinforcing our commitment to prioritizing people and leading with purpose.

As we look ahead to the 4th of July, teams began merchandising in preparation for celebrating the United States’ 250th anniversary. This seasonal focus allows us to create engaging, festive displays while delivering a strong customer experience and driving excitement in our stores. You can see below that the Honore store has created a July 4th experience for their shoppers.

Congrats to Dora Talamantes on her promotion to Logistics Manager at our upcoming Triple Diamond location!
Congratulations to Brandon Steinert on his promotion to TLC of Englewood GGC!
Their growth and dedication are a great example of what it means to prioritize people, promote accountability, and pursue excellence.
Congratulations again we’re excited to see you thrive in these next steps!
To help Spring into the Summer of Image, our teams participated in a May Transaction Value Contest, with results tracked each week through a Weather Report update. Progress was measured with sunshines and clouds as teams worked to increase transaction value compared to their January through April average.
Congratulations to our regional winners: Sebastian, North Bargain Barn, South Dixie, and Lantana. Each winning leadership team will receive branded polos. Our overall winner, Jensen Beach, will have a Goodwill Ice Cream Truck Celebration for their entire team after increasing their transaction value by 17% for a May transaction value of $27.51!
Throughout the contest, our teams showed what it means to Pursue Excellence by bringing focus, leadership, and an elevated customer experience.
We partnered with FAU’s Boca and Jupiter campuses and Lynn University during dorm moveout week. Students gave thousands of items a second life, helping repurpose and recycle 21,032 pounds of donated goods. This is a strong example of sustainability initiatives creating local impact and supporting our mission. We look forward to continuing to build these partnerships.

The apparel sizing rollout has officially started. We will continue expanding to all locations, with the goal of having every store fully sized by the start of the season. Special shout-out to Dora Talamantes, TLC of Corporate Campus GGC, for supporting our leadership teams, OTCs, and Regional Directors through the first five stores: Gulfstream, Delray, South Dixie, PSL West, and Vero. We also want to recognize our ADC teams for preparing sizing tags and helping stores through this change. This work will improve the shopping experience and drive stronger apparel sellthrough across our stores.
Russ Prentice, VP of Information Services, and Sabrina Kloehn, VP of Strategy and Analytics, visited the GIPB coast in May. Thank you to our teams for the warm welcome and for showcasing our operations. Their visit included time with Donn, Brady, the Director team, and Lisa Mason to share successes, challenges, and opportunities. We are excited to have Russ and Sabrina on our team and already see the impact of their support and leadership.

Consistent adherence to these practices strengthens awareness and ensures a safe work environment.

GIMI & GIPB RE Pipeline:

GIMI FM 30-Day:

GIPB 30-Day:

“We don’t just keep the lights on – we build the tools, connections, and systems that let Goodwill’s people do their best work every day.”
• The IS team is here to serve you. Whether it’s a device that won’t cooperate, a question about a system, or an idea for how technology can make your job easier – reach out. That’s exactly what we’re here for.
Microsoft Teams Architecture: IS completed a 4-tier Teams communication strategy that can be designed for our full 2,000-person organization – from executive leadership to frontline store team members. The right conversations in the right places.
AI-Powered HR Agent: IS is piloting an AI assistant that handles routine HR policy questions automatically –giving HR more time for meaningful work and getting team members answers faster. “Technology in the service of people”.
Mobile Cost Audit: A full review of our 199 Verizon mobile lines identified some potential savings from unused and spare lines. Every dollar saved goes back to supporting our mission!
Help Desk Modernization: After analyzing 5,185 tickets across GIMI and GIPB, we’re improving how requests are routed, tracked, and resolved so team members get faster, more consistent support.

Spot the Phish!
• If an email creates urgency or asks you to click a link, slow down. Legitimate sender won’t panic you into acting fast.
• Check the sender’s actual email address –not just the display name. Attackers love names like “IT Support” hiding a sketchy address.
• When in doubt, don’t click or open – ask us or the sender. We’d rather get 100 false alarms than miss one real one.
What's new in Asana – May 2026
Asana Release Notes – May 2026
Don't Wait Until It's a Problem Raise the Flag Early
• A small delay today becomes a major bottleneck next week. A "maybe" on a deliverable quietly turns into a "definitely not on time."

• How to apply it
o Name it. "I'm concerned that timeline X might slip because of Y."

o Share it. Bring it to your team or project lead before it becomes urgent.

o Solve it together. Early flags give the team time and options. Late surprises don't.
