Philippians 3:6-7: “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

Have you ever felt completely helpless? You want to be able to help, but you can’t. It seems you are on the outside looking in, and you wish you could help! Life changes in a heartbeat. Ask any parent with a young child. They can be fine one minute, and then the next thing you know, they have had an accident. Accidents can happen anytime and anywhere. None of us are immune to their happening in our lives. Let me tell you, in those times when I had to step back and let the
professionals care for my loved one needing help, I am thankful that when I felt I could do nothing else, at least I could pray.
I am so thankful for the power of prayer. We are told to let our requests be made known unto God. In those times when your world gets turned upside down, I feel it is only God who can give you His peace. Oh, the peace of trusting God with all the burdens of your heart. Isaiah 26:3-4: “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.”
May I encourage you to trust your burdens to the Lord. Psalm 55:16-17: “As for me, I will call upon God; and the Lord shall save me. Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.”
May the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, keep your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ.
He is only a prayer away!
