Time is precious. That is something that I have learned through this unprecedented time in our nation. Time with our loved ones, friends, and family can come to a halt in an instant! We do not know what tomorrow may bring. During this time, it has made me realize that the time we have is precious, and we should value it more than we do. Despite the circumstances, I have been thankful to have more time to spend with my husband.
Time is all we really have in this world, and so much of it is usually taken up by our responsibilities in life. Many times, I find myself wasting time and then wondering where it went. I am sure that I am not alone in this scenario! Instead of wasting this extra time we have, we need to cherish it. We need to spend more time with our spouses, children, and God. We need to lean on the Lord, thank Him for the time that He has given us with our family, and thank Him for keeping us safe.
One of the most important things we need to continue to do is cherish our time once this unprecedented time is over. Before we know it,
the hustle and bustle of normal life will be back, and we will be wishing we had extra time to spend with our loved ones. Once our lives go back to what we would consider normal, we need to continue to remember how important time is and how our time here on earth will not last forever. Let’s not get caught back up in all those routines that drain us and strip us of our time with our loved ones, friends, and God.
