The Living Word of God

“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God” (1 Corinthians 2:9-10).

Last year I mentioned to my mother that I wanted to buy a pocket Bible to give to my husband to bring to work. He has so much responsibility and many important decisions to make each day. Having God's word to get guidance from would surely help, I thought. Mom agreed it was a great idea.

A few hours later, I went to pick up my son, Alex, from his high school. I parked a block from the entrance and I noticed a man looking in my direction. I wondered who would be standing there. He continued to look directly at me for several minutes.

Proverbs 8:17, “I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.”

The bell rang and the kids were released. A short time later my son opened the door and said “Hi Mom, here you go!.” He placed a small book in my hand. It was The New Testament with Psalms & Proverbs

pocket Bible from the man at the end of the street! This Bible was placed into my hands directly from the hand of God. How beautiful and amazing He is!

Psalm 145:16, ”Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.”
