The Annual Fund is the heartbeat of our school and the primary way community membersâparents, alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friendsâsupport everyday operations each year.
Nurturing joy and personal growth through vibrant arts, athletics, and extracurricular offerings. From bilingual theater productions to Model UN debates, these experiences cultivate confident, well-rounded global citizens who are ready for any environment.
Building commitment, perseverance and resilience by fostering a growth mindset. From academic challenges to artistic and athletic pursuits, students learn to embrace effort, stay dedicated and grow stronger at every step.
Open Minds
Maintaining academic excellence through continuous investment in our exceptional faculty and innovative learning environments. Professional development keeps our educators at the forefront of bilingual pedagogy. Our Cultural Center, renovated science labs, and partnerships, such as those with Cold Spring Harborâs DNA Learning Center, create spaces where curiosity and discovery thrive.
Your gift goes to work right away, addressing the schoolâs most important needs each academic year. Early participation, especially in the fall or on Day of Giving, fuels our momentum and ensures we can plan boldly for the year ahead.
I am already paying tuition; why do I need to make a gift to the Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund provides critical, flexible support that tuition alone does not. It allows us to remain agile and act on unique opportunities, offer strong financial aid, invest in academic programs and faculty, and enrich arts, athletics, and after-school programs.
How much should I give?
Just as there is huge diversity in our community, there are gifts of all sizes. Our median gift is $500 and our leadership giving threshold is $25,000. We encourage all members of our community to support the Annual Fund at a level commensurate with their ability to give and sustain every year. Every gift of every size is important, meaningful, and deeply appreciated.
What is a matching gift?
Many employers have a matching gift policy that can double or triple the impact of your donation. Please check your companyâs website for more information about their matching gift policy and how to apply.
Some donors jump in on our Day of GivingâNovember 20â to be part of that collective effort. Others make a pledgeâa promise to the school that you intend to give a donation by the end of the fiscal year. For instance, you can pledge $2,500 to the school in November but decide to pay it in March. It is a way to solidify your commitment to the school on your own timeline while making the promise to contribute in advance. All Annual Fund gifts should be completed by June 30, 2026, the end of our fiscal year.
I plan on attending the Gala. Doesnât that count as my Annual Fund gift?
Weâre so grateful youâre joining us at the Galaâyour support of this special event makes a meaningful difference for our community. While Gala proceeds do benefit the school, ticket purchases are not considered gifts to the Annual Fund. The Annual Fund is a separate effort that directly supports our students and programs, and every familyâs participation truly matters. We invite you to consider making a gift to the Annual Fund in addition to attending the Gala. Unlike event tickets, Annual Fund donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
How else can I help?
There are many ways to make a difference! You can volunteer to reach out to parents you know, help share information about the Annual Fund, and encourage families to join together toward our goal of 100% participation.
Vous pouvez vous porter volontaire pour contacter dâautres parents que vous connaissez, partager des informations sur le Fonds annuel, et encourager les familles Ă se mobiliser pour atteindre notre objectif de 100 % de participation.
