February brought incredible energy as we continue to see the golf carting industry gaining momentum from an outstanding PGA Show. The innovations, connections, and community spirit from Orlando are still resonating throughout the industry, and this month's issue reflects that excitement.

Our cover features Paul Pryor's stunning Hooters tribute build from Angry Goat Custom Carts in Florida. Built on a 2023 Navitas steel chassis with a race-ready 850-amp controller and 7.5-kilowatt motor, this cart combines eye-catching aesthetics with legitimate performance. Paul's custom fabrication work—including one-off fiberglass speaker pods— showcases true craftsmanship. The best part? Hooters loved it and partnered with Paul and GolfCarting Magazine for a full photo shoot with Hooters Girls at their Villages location, proving that quality work gets noticed.
Nearly 100 golf cart exhibitors filled the show floor
in Orlando, delivering major launches from MadJax, E-Z-GO, Atlas, StarEV, and newcomer Lani EV with its solar-powered cart. Technology took center stage with new offerings from MODZ, Golf Carts Modified, SoundExtreme, Eco Battery, and WiTricity's wireless charging pads. Beyond the products, the real magic happened in the connections—at house parties in Reunion, the Navitas/Nivel Poker Run with 130 participants, and countless conversations that strengthened our industry community.
Our CEO Christian Amico shares his real-world experience with the 2026 Atlas lifted 6-passenger LSV after putting meaningful miles on it around Charleston. From the luxurious fit and finish to the smooth acceleration and exceptional ride quality, Christian breaks down what makes this cart stand out in everyday use—grocery runs, neighborhood cruising, and family adventures with his son Carter and dog Stella.
SoundExtreme by ECOXGEAR introduced its nextgeneration Pulse Series soundbars at the PGA Show, featuring bottom-facing woofers for controlled bass, upgraded EcoDSP technology, and integrated LED controllers. With IP67 waterproof rating and scalable EcoCast/LEDCast capabilities, these 28-inch soundbars represent a significant leap forward in golf cart audio.
Mark your calendars for April 25th as Upstate Cart Fest returns to Chesnee, South Carolina, bigger than ever. With expanded food trucks, kids' activities, live DJ entertainment, and growing sponsor support from Lithium Rhino, SoundExtreme, Navitas, and more, this free event celebrates everything golf carting in the Upstate. Free Show & Shine entry and a $15 Poker Run offer something for everyone.
As always, thank you for being part of the GolfCarting Magazine family. The energy and innovation we're seeing across the industry is inspiring, and we're honored to share these stories with you each month.
Here's to continued growth in 2026!

SoundExtreme by ECOXGEAR, the industry leader in rugged, weatherproof audio solutions for golf carts and UTVs, recently announced the launch of its all-new Pulse Series Soundbars, a next-generation product designed to elevate audio performance, simplify installs, and enhance system integration for dealers, installers, and open-air vehicle enthusiasts.
The Pulse Series delivers deeper bass, clearer vocals, and a bold, modern design built specifically for open-air environments. Featuring a new square-profile housing, bottom-facing woofers, and upgraded acoustic tuning, Pulse soundbars produce powerful, immersive sound that cuts through wind, engine noise, and outdoor conditions while keeping bass response controlled within the vehicle.
Designed as the evolution of SoundExtreme’s previous Elite Series, the Pulse Series retains the rugged durability and trusted features dealers rely on, while introducing meaningful performance and design upgrades. At its core is EcoDSP, SoundExtreme’s proprietary digital signal processing technology, precision-tuned by experienced audio engineers to optimize clarity, balance, and output in golf carts and UTVs.
Pulse soundbars also integrate SoundExtreme’s proven EcoCast and LEDCast technologies, enabling scalable audio and lighting systems across a vehicle. EcoCast allows users to link up to 100 compatible SoundExtreme and ECOXGEAR speakers for a concert-level audio experience, while LEDCast synchronizes up to 100 LED products for a cohesive, systemwide light show.
Each Pulse Series soundbar includes a built-in LED controller with dual output zones, allowing direct connection of LED whips, accent lighting, or strips without additional external modules. This integrated design streamlines installation, reduces wiring complexity, and delivers a true plug-and-play experience for all users. A newly added dome light also provides functional illumination within the vehicle.
Built for harsh outdoor environments, Pulse Series soundbars are IP67-rated, fully waterproof, dustproof, and engineered to withstand the demands of off-road and open-air use.
“We spent more than two years developing our nextgeneration EcoDSP platform and refining our new soundbar design that debuts with the Pulse Series,” said Greg Fadul, CEO of SoundExtreme by ECOXGEAR. “By relocating the woofers to a bottom-facing orientation, we achieved a stronger, more controlled bass response that stays within the vehicle, while delivering the clarity, volume, and reliability dealers and riders expect from SoundExtreme.”
The Pulse Series launches with two 28-inch models:
• Pulse 28” Wired Soundbar, available now for $479.99
• Pulse 28” Battery-Powered Soundbar, available now for $579.99
Both models are available exclusively through SoundExtreme’s authorized dealer network and at www.soundextreme.com.

Florida custom builder creates eye-catching homage to iconic brand on Navitas chassis with serious speed potential

Some custom golf carts are built for show. Others are built for go. Paul Pryor's Hooters tribute build from Angry Goat Custom Carts in Florida manages to be both—a visually striking homage to the iconic restaurant brand that packs legitimate race performance underneath its orange-and-white exterior. Built on a 2023 Navitas steel chassis and lowered three inches all the way around, this cart combines nostalgic race-inspired aesthetics with modern performance components from industry leaders like Bolt Energy, SoundExtreme, MODZ, and Navitas. The result is a custom cart that commands attention at car shows and has the performance to back up its racing aesthetic.
At the heart of this build sits a complete Navitas steel chassis—what Paul and others in the industry have dubbed "the skateboard." It's a term that perfectly captures the platform's purpose: a complete, ready-tocustomize foundation that eliminates the need to source, repair, and rebuild an old cart.

"It is the absolute perfect platform to build a cart," Paul explains. "You don't have to go around trying to scrounge up an old cart, clean it up, fix it, repair it. You have a brand-new chassis where every nut, bolt, bushing, and bearing is brand new."
The Navitas chassis comes complete with wiring, a 600-amp controller, and a 5-kilowatt motor—ready to drive with just wheels and a battery. But for this build, Paul had bigger plans. He upgraded to Navitas's race setup: an 850-amp controller paired with a 7.5-kilowatt motor.
"The big race setup from Navitas will push this car pretty doggone good," Paul notes.
The steel chassis offers advantages for custom builders, particularly those creating lowered or heavily modified carts. While Navitas also offers aluminum chassis that "rock," Paul appreciates how the steel version lends itself to extensive customization—going up, down, big, or small.
For this build, Paul chose the lowered configuration, dropping the chassis three inches all the way around to achieve that aggressive, race-inspired stance that defines the aesthetic.
The visual inspiration comes from Hooters' rich motorsports sponsorship history. The build features authentic Hooters logos and signature orange-and-white color blocking that immediately identifies the cart's tribute nature.
MadJax Storm Body components provide the sleek exterior shell, while custom rocker panels—approximately five to six
inches long, double the size of standard panels—enhance the lowered appearance even further.
"It kind of makes the car look even a little bit lower," Paul explains.
Rolling on Hoosier racing tires mounted to race wheels, the cart projects legitimate motorsports credibility. The combination of lowered stance, racing wheels, and motorsports branding creates a cart that looks like it belongs in victory lane rather than the parking lot.
Paul's fabrication skills shine throughout the interior, particularly in the custom fiberglass speaker pods integrated into the dash. Where factory glove boxes typically sit, Paul created one-off enclosures specifically for SoundExtreme 6.5inch speakers.
"We made a mold of that at first, then we fiberglassed up speaker rings and blended it all in," Paul explains. "So that way, they're actually in an enclosure, which helps them to sound a little better too."
The result is truly custom work—built from scratch, one-off pieces that can't be purchased anywhere. The speaker pods integrate seamlessly with the dash, looking factory-installed while delivering superior sound quality compared to surfacemounted speakers.
The SoundExtreme audio system includes four 6.5-inch speakers, two amplifiers, and one subwoofer tucked under the seat alongside the Bolt 73.6-volt battery. SoundExtreme's push-button key start and Bluetooth receiver complete the

system, while underglow lighting and a rear whip add visual flair.
Dekomats knocked it out of the park with a custom floor mat featuring the Hooters logo design, tying together the interior aesthetic. MODZ FS2 seats in black provide comfortable seating with racing-style support, while a MODZ steering wheel completes the driver interface.
"We love our MODZ seats and MODZ steering wheels," Paul notes.
A custom dash cover and carefully coordinated color scheme ensure every interior element supports the overall Hooters theme without feeling overdone or cluttered.
Working with Peak Accessories, Paul equipped the cart with a custom tinted windshield designed specifically for the All-Sports windshield frame. Peak is now partnering with All-Sports to manufacture windshields for their product line, making this custom piece a preview of production availability.
The curved windshield follows the body lines better than previous designs, creating a more integrated appearance that complements the MadJax Storm Body's flowing contours.
The Bolt 73.6-volt battery provides serious energy storage,

feeding the upgraded Navitas race controller and motor combination. This isn't a cart built just for looks—it has legitimate performance potential.
The 850-amp controller and 7.5-kilowatt motor represent Navitas's top-tier racing setup, designed for builders who want maximum acceleration and top speed. Combined with the lightweight chassis and carefully considered weight distribution, this Hooters tribute has the power to back up its racing aesthetic.
Paul's enthusiasm for the Navitas chassis platform reflects a broader industry trend toward purpose-built custom foundations rather than repurposed used carts. The complete chassis approach offers multiple advantages for serious builders.
Navitas offers both lifted and non-lifted versions in twopassenger, four-passenger, and six-passenger configurations. Their "super stretch" six-passenger chassis adds extra length for improved legroom and passenger comfort.
"You could buy them, you could put a set of wheels on it, throw a battery in it and drive it," Paul explains. "And then we build it up from there."
For custom builders, this eliminates countless hours of teardown, cleaning, repair, and upgrades on a used chassis.
Everything starts fresh, properly engineered, and ready for modification.
Paul's vision for the Hooters cart extended beyond his own enjoyment, and the gamble paid off. After completing the build, he took it to the Hooters location in The Villages, Florida, hoping the restaurant would appreciate the tribute.
They loved it!
Not only did Hooters embrace his creation, but they provided access to Paul and GolfCarting Magazine to do a full photo shoot featuring the cart with several Hooters Girls at their Villages location. The collaboration validated Paul's attention to detail and authentic approach to the tribute build, proving that when you execute a concept with quality and respect, brands notice.
The Villages location hosts weekly and monthly car shows, providing ongoing opportunities to showcase the build to car enthusiasts and Hooters fans alike. With the restaurant's official approval and the photo shoot creating promotional content, the cart has become more than just Paul's personal project— it's a rolling brand ambassador that celebrates both golf cart culture and Hooters' heritage.
For now, Paul plans to keep it as a driver rather than a dedicated race cart—though the performance capability remains if he decides to unleash it on a track. With Hooters' blessing and growing attention at local events, this orangeand-white tribute continues making appearances throughout The Villages, turning heads and starting conversations wherever it goes.
The build showcases successful collaborations with multiple

industry partners. Navitas provided the chassis foundation and race performance components. Bolt Energy delivered the power system. SoundExtreme supplied the complete audio package plus lighting. MODZ contributed seats and steering. Dekomats created the custom floor mat. Peak Accessories developed the specialized windshield.
"Everybody who's a part of this cart, they are all great partners to work with," Paul notes.
Paul Pryor's Hooters tribute build represents modern custom cart building at its best. Rather than simply applying stickers to an existing cart, Paul started with a premium foundation, added legitimate performance upgrades, created custom fabricated components, and executed a cohesive theme that honors its inspiration authentically.
The racing theme grounds the build in motorsports heritage. The Hooters branding provides instant recognition and nostalgic appeal. The Navitas race components deliver real performance. The custom fabrication throughout demonstrates genuine craftsmanship.
From the lowered stance and Hoosier racing tires to the fiberglass speaker pods and flipped rear seat brackets, every element serves both form and function. This isn't a show cart that can't perform or a race cart with no visual appeal—it's a thoughtfully executed build that succeeds on multiple levels.
Whether parked outside a Hooters restaurant in The Villages, displayed at a car show, or running hard with that 7.5-kilowatt motor unleashed, this orange-and-white tribute makes a statement. It celebrates an iconic brand, showcases modern golf cart technology, and proves that custom builders like Paul Pryor continue pushing what's possible when passion meets craftsmanship.
And if Hooters gives it the thumbs up? Well, that's just the extra hot sauce on top.

As the golf cart industry continues to evolve, transportation remains a critical piece of the supply chain. Understanding current market conditions and following proven transport best practices can help dealers manage costs, reduce damage, and improve customer satisfaction.
TRANSPORTATION MARKET OUTLOOK
The transportation market continues to stabilize after several years of volatility. Freight volumes remain relatively soft across many sectors, while carrier operating costs, including labor, equipment, insurance, and compliance — remain elevated. As a result, rates are expected to stay steady with modest upward pressure rather than significant declines. Capacity has tightened in certain lanes as smaller carriers exit the market and regulatory requirements continue to impact driver availability. For golf cart dealers, this means transportation may not always be immediately available during peak seasons, making advance planning and strong carrier relationships increasingly important. While the market is not experiencing rapid growth, it is also not contracting sharply. Dealers who plan ahead, communicate clearly with carriers, and understand seasonal trends will be better positioned to control costs and avoid disruptions throughout the year.
SAFELY AND SECURELY TRANSPORTING GOLF CARTS: BEST PRACTICES FOR DEALERS
1. CHOOSING THE RIGHT CARRIER & EQUIPMENT
Not all carriers are equipped to handle golf carts properly. Dealers should work with transport providers experienced in hauling specialty vehicles and confirm that the trailer type, open or enclosed, is appropriate for the size, configuration, and value of the cart. Verifying cargo insurance coverage before shipment is also essential.
2. PREPARING THE CART FOR TRANSPORT
Preparation should be simple and consistent. Carts must be operable for loading and unloading, with batteries, fuel levels, and overall condition meeting carrier requirements. Any loose or nonpermanent items should be removed or secured prior to transport.
Best practices include photographing carts before loading, securing components that could shift during transit, and confirming serial numbers and paperwork match the bill of lading (BOL) and the order to avoid delivery discrepancies.
3. SECURE LOADING & TIE-DOWN BEST PRACTICES
Proper loading and securement are critical to preventing damage during transit. Straps should never rest directly on the cart, as this can cause scratches, scuffs, or pressure damage. Using dunnage or protective padding between the strap and the cart, as well as between the cart and the trailer walls, helps minimize cosmetic and structural damage. Whenever possible, carts should be secured using a combination of wheel chocks and strategic strap placement. Placing a strap in front of and behind the cart, in conjunction with tire chocking, helps control forward and backward movement during braking and acceleration. This layered approach to securement provides added protection and reduces the risk of shifting in transit.
Upon delivery, carts should be inspected. Dealers should note any damage or discrepancies while the driver is present. Always keep your own pictures for claims. Prompt documentation helps streamline resolution if claims or corrections are needed.
While the transportation market is expected to remain steady, preventing damage comes down to execution. Selecting the right carrier, ensuring carts are properly prepared and loaded, and working with experienced transportation partners all play a critical role in reducing risk and ensuring carts arrive in sale-ready condition.

A week in Orlando that showcased where golf carting is headed—and reminded us why we love this industry
The 2026 PGA Show wrapped up on January 23rd at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, and I'm still processing everything I saw, experienced, and celebrated over those four incredible days. This was my biggest show since I started attending post-COVID, and the energy was undeniable—not just for golf in general, but specifically for our
corner of the industry.
Nearly 100 golf cart-related exhibitors filled the show floor this year, ranging from established OEMs to innovative accessory companies to cutting-edge technology providers. That's a clear signal that the golf cart and LSV industry is capturing serious attention and investment.
Walking the aisles, you could feel the momentum. Booths
were packed. Conversations were happening everywhere. The level of innovation on display was impressive, and the sheer variety of products—from performance upgrades to lifestyle accessories—reinforced what we already know: golf carting has evolved far beyond the golf course.
This year's show delivered several major reveals and announcements that will shape the industry moving forward: NEW MODELS:
• MadJax launched the all-new Ascent and unveiled a refreshed version of its popular XSeries cart
• E-Z-GO introduced an updated 4-forward Liberty model
• Atlas added a new 4-forward cart to its already solid lineup
• StarEV debuted two new models—the Leo and Gemini
• Lani EV, a newcomer to the industry, introduced its solarpowered golf cart
• The Conino Lamborghini golf cart made heads turn throughout the show
• MODZ unveiled a new lithium battery, expanding their already comprehensive product line
• Golf Carts Modified launched its own line of lithium batteries
• SoundExtreme debuted the new Pulse soundbar
• Eco Battery showed off its new EB Trace, a GPS tracker that

syncs with its battery system
• WiTricity introduced wireless charging pads—a glimpse into the future of golf cart power management
• BA Parts made its debut as a host house in Reunion, showcasing three completely custom builds featuring many of their own accessories
These are just some of the highlights—there were many more launches and announcements throughout the show that I simply can't list them all here. The variety and quality of these launches demonstrate an industry that's maturing, innovating, and meeting increasingly sophisticated customer expectations.
As impressive as the show floor was, some of the most memorable moments happened after hours in the Reunion community, where hundreds of dealers, manufacturers, and industry professionals gathered each evening.
The second annual Navitas/Nivel PGA Poker Run was a massive success, with nearly 130 participants—a significant jump from last year's inaugural event. The weather cooperated this time too: 70s and partly cloudy instead of last year's low 40s and rain. Watching dealers roll through Reunion's streets, stopping at sponsor houses, collecting cards, and connecting with peers reinforced what makes this

event special. It's not just about the prizes (though the prize pool was impressive)—it's about creating space for genuine relationships.
HOUSE PARTIES: The private and open house parties on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights were better than ever. Major brands opened their doors, showcased custom builds, and created environments where business relationships deepened over food, drinks, and shared passion for the industry. These aren't stuffy corporate events—they're genuine celebrations that reflect the personality and camaraderie that define golf carting culture.
OFF-SITE EVENTS: Some companies took hospitality beyond Reunion, like Nivel Parts' partner appreciation party at Howl

at the Moon on Wednesday night. These efforts to create memorable experiences don't go unnoticed and build loyalty that extends far beyond a single trade show.
This year, the GolfCarting Expo added a new service that proved incredibly valuable: free shuttle buses providing transportation between Reunion and the Convention Center on Wednesday and Thursday. Several sponsors provided snacks and drinks during morning and afternoon runs, creating a rolling networking opportunity while saving dealers from parking hassles and Uber expenses.
The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. This simple addition removed friction from the daily routine and gave dealers more time and energy to focus on what matters—

connecting with partners and discovering products.
Here's what struck me most about the 2026 PGA Show: Yes, the product launches were impressive. Yes, the technology advancements were exciting. Yes, the show floor energy was fantastic.
But the real magic happened in the connections.
Old friends reconnected. New relationships formed. Dealers met with manufacturers face-to-face. Custom builders swapped ideas. Industry veterans mentored newcomers.
Much of this happened outside the official show—in Reunion driveways, at house parties, during the poker run, on the shuttle buses, and in countless spontaneous conversations throughout the week.
That's the heart of this industry. We're not just selling carts

or accessories or technology. We're building a community of people who genuinely enjoy what they do and the people they do it with.
The 2026 PGA Show set a high bar. The attendance, the launches, the events, the energy—it all points to an industry that's growing, evolving, and attracting the right kind of attention.
As I reflect on the week, I'm excited about where we're headed. The innovations will continue. The products will get better. The technology will advance.
But what won't change—and what matters most—is the community we're building together, one conversation, one connection, one shared experience at a time.
Here's to the continued growth of this incredible industry and the people who make it special.

BY CHRISTIAN AMICO CEO GC MEDIA
I’ve had this Atlas LSV at my home in Charleston for a few months now, and over the past several weeks I’ve really been able to put some meaningful miles on it. Between less-thanideal weather and being away for much of the holidays, I didn’t get to drive it as much early on as I would have liked.
To start, I’ve owned and driven dozens of different golf carts and LSVs over the past 10 years in the industry — everything from a well-worn Club Car DS with tired lead-acid batteries to $50,000 ultra-custom builds.
Now let’s talk about this brand-new 2026 Atlas lifted
6-passenger LSV, which Atlas was kind enough to provide so I could put it through its paces and share my thoughts.
Even though I had seen these carts before, my first impression when it was delivered was just how luxurious it looked. The overall fit and finish feel very high-end. The paint and seat color combination looks like something you’d expect to see in a top-of-the-line Mercedes. My 17-year-old son saw it for the first time and immediately said, “Ohhhh, that’s sweet.” That
pretty much summed it up.
We live in a neighborhood with lots of nearby amenities — multiple pools, tennis courts, pickleball courts, and sports complexes — where using a golf cart is far more convenient than taking a car. We can also ride to nearby restaurants, shopping areas, and even Costco by cart. It’s not unusual for us to be on the cart for 30 minutes at a time, and some days we’ll just cruise around the neighborhood and trails.
The Atlas drives exceptionally well. The steering is tight and responsive, and the suspension is among the smoothest I’ve experienced in this category. The cart feels solid, well-built, and designed to last.
One thing both my son and I immediately noticed was how smooth the acceleration is. It has plenty of power, but it delivers it in a very controlled, refined way. The launch is smooth rather than abrupt, which makes for a more enjoyable and comfortable driving experience.

The seats not only look great, but they’re also very comfortable, even on longer rides. The entire family was impressed with the comfort level and seating position. Most of our rides include me, my wife Aaran, our son Carter, and our dog Stella — who loves going for rides and gets genuinely upset when we leave her behind. This 6-passenger setup had more than enough room for all of us, plus a good amount of groceries from Costco on one trip.
The electronics, audio system, and touchscreen worked

flawlessly. Everything is laid out logically, easy to use, and very intuitive. The massive vertically mounted touchscreen is a standout feature and definitely turns heads. We received quite a few compliments and answered a lot of questions when we were out, especially about the display.
All in all, this new Atlas cart is well-built, very comfortable, and has a definite “cool factor” that people notice. We’ve loved having it and will continue to use it regularly. Stay tuned for a follow-up review once we’ve had even more time behind the wheel. For more information visit www.atlascarts.com

A 2007 E-Z-GO TXT WITH FULL AIR RIDE AND CUSTOM FABRICATION
BUILDER: Brandon Lee
LOCATION: Portsmouth, Virginia
WHAT’S YOUR NAME AND WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
My name is Brandon Lee, and I’m based out of Portsmouth, Virginia.
Tell us about your build. What are we looking at?
This is a 2007 E-Z-GO TXT finished in custom Speedway Blue paint. The goal was to get the cart sitting as low and clean as possible — and I mean low.
The front axle has been flipped, the spindles were relocated and welded higher with a custom plate to naturally drop the cart before the air ride even comes into play. I also fabricated a new bracket and relocated the rack and pinion to match the geometry.
In the rear, I removed the factory leaf springs and built a simple 2-link setup. It’s running full air ride with a Valair tank and compressor mounted under the rear seat. I also chopped the top 2 inches and lowered the rear step 2 inches so the cart lays out evenly when aired out.
It’s sitting on 12-inch bronze MODZ wheels, has a lithium battery swap, a tinted windshield, and — you can’t miss them — chocolate seat covers to tie the look together.
WHAT CUSTOM FABRICATION WORK WAS INVOLVED?
A lot of it was hands-on fabrication.
• Flipped front axle
• Custom rack and pinion bracket
• Spindles welded higher with custom drop plates
• Rear leaf springs removed

• Custom brackets built for air struts
• Simple 2-link rear suspension setup
• Tank and compressor mounted cleanly under the rear seat
Everything was built with the goal of clean stance, proper geometry, and full lay-out capability.
WHAT AFTERMARKET PARTS DID YOU USE?
• Valair tank and compressor
• MODZ 12” bronze wheels
• Nokins seat covers
• Ography Lithium battery system
HOW DID YOU GET INTO BUILDING GOLF CARTS?
Honestly, it happened by accident. I just got into golf carts back in March of this year. I started customizing one and realized how much I
enjoyed it. It’s relaxing for me.
Since then, I’ve built four carts from the ground up and I’m learning something new every single day. It’s become more than just a hobby — it’s something I genuinely love doing.
WHAT ARE YOUR FUTURE PLANS?
I’d love to open a shop at some point and build carts full time. I definitely want to get into sales as well because I really enjoy the people I meet in this hobby. The community side of it is huge for me.
ANYTHING ELSE YOU'D LIKE TO ADD?
Absolutely. My 8-year-old daughter, Olivia Lee, is one of my biggest helpers. She drives the carts, helps with videos and photos, and is always right there with me. She’s a huge part of this journey, and I wouldn’t trade that time for anything.

COLOR OPTIONS: Cherry, Black, Midnight, White, Cashmere, Charcoal, Forest Green
POWER OPTIONS: 51.2V/105Ah ECO Lithium Battery with 48V on-board charging system

digital display screen with backup camera, wireless cell phone charging pad, and a built-in SoundExtreme Marine Grade sound system with 7.5A 360W amp and two 6.5" speakers. At 19 MPH (or 25 MPH in LSV configuration), it's got plenty of speed for getting around the course efficiently.

COLOR OPTIONS: Slate, Bright White, Ivory, Ocean Grey, Forest Green, Black PREMIUM COLORS (+$125-$333): Patriot Blue, Platinum, Almond, Metallic Charcoal, Inferno Red, Matte Green POWER OPTIONS: EX1 Gas Engine or ELiTE Lithium Battery powered by Samsung SDI technology

WHY WE LIKE IT: The E-Z-GO RXV Freedom is a staple on many courses worldwide. It's purpose-built to hit the course, featuring a dash layout optimized for golf and the IntelliBrake automatic parking brake for added safety.
One thing many buyers like about the Freedom is that E-Z-GO gives you a lot of flexibility, whether you want to keep it simple with a base model or dress it up with a long list of available add-ons and upgrades. Start with their wide range of wheel and tire options, from the standard Hole-N-One tires on white steel wheels to upgraded options like Paramount DOT tires on Rogue alloy wheels. The standard wheels are fine, but upgrading them will make a huge difference in the look. Seating options range from solid standard seats in multiple
colors to premium seats and signature seats with doublediamond stitching, sculpted foam cushions, and marinequality materials. The Tundra Grey signature seats even feature cool-touch technology that stays up to 30 degrees cooler than traditional vinyl. This is a $650 upgrade, but on a hot day it can make a big difference.
For tech and entertainment, you can add the Modular Overhead Infotainment System with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, or go with the In-Dash Infotainment System. E-Z-GO Play speakers provide weather-resistant Bluetooth audio. There are also many practical upgrades, like a glove box kit that adds lockable storage for valuables, and retractable seat belts to help keep your most precious cargo secured.
STARTING PRICE: While we were unable to find an MSRP, we believe it to be around $12,495 TO $13,999
COLOR OPTIONS: Black, Matte Black, Gun Metal Grey, Silver, Nardo Grey, White, Metallic Blue, Coastal Blue, Teal, Fire Engine Red, Super Pink, Orange, Chameleon Blue Purple, Chameleon Green Purple, Chameleon White Purple
POWER OPTIONS: 105Ah LiFePO4 Lithium Eco Battery (standard) with optional upgrade to 160Ah

WHY WE LIKE IT: The Venom EV Strike Course is not as well-known as the other models on this list, but maybe that should change. Venom EV carts have a really cool look, with a plethora of unique colors as you can see above. This model comes standard with everything you need for the course: sand bottles, a cooler, and a golf bag holder. The plush upholstered seats with adjustable armrests keep you enjoying your ride. Not to mention, if rain tries to ruin your day, there’s a dashmounted umbrella that’s spring-loaded and color-matched to the dash.
The 10-inch touchscreen includes Bluetooth audio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an automatic backup camera, and all the usual connectivity (12V, USB, and USB-C ports). In partnership with MODZ, all models come with upgraded steel belted radial tires on nice rims, and the dual chamber independent MacPherson suspension keeps the ride smooth. As an anti-theft feature, Venom includes unique coded vehicle keys so your keys only work on your specific cart.
One awesome optional upgrade on this unit is the Party Pack. This factory feature includes voice-activated LED lights along the seats, in the speakers, on the floor, and under the cart. You can adjust colors, speed, and modes, or just say "Hello Venom!" to control it hands-free. The Party Pack also adds a subwoofer and two extra speakers. I mean, come on now, how cool is that?
4
CLUB CAR ONWARD 2 PASSENGER
STARTING PRICE: $9,762
COLOR OPTIONS: Metallic Blue Onyx, Rally Red, Metallic Glacier White, Metallic Jade Green, Metallic Sea Foam, Metallic Tuxedo Black, Metallic Brilliant Blue, Metallic Cashmere, Metallic Signature Silver, Pearl Mist Gray
POWER OPTIONS: 429cc Kohler EFI Gas (14.0 HP), 48V Electric (Flooded Lead Acid, Base Lithium, or XR Lithium)

WHY WE LIKE IT: The Club Car Onward 2 Passenger is tried and true. If you want to be assured you're rolling around in a very reliable cart, this unit leaves no doubt. One of the biggest selling points is the AlumiCore aluminum frame. This lightweight aluminum chassis won't rust or corrode, lasting up to three times longer than steel frames while providing better range and a smoother, more comfortable ride. If you're in a humid or coastal environment, this is a huge advantage.
The plush cushioned seats are designed for all day comfort, with optional upgrades to Premium Seating or Elite Seating if you want even more luxury while you're rolling around. The SportDrive rack and pinion steering combined with independent front and rear suspension (leaf spring with dual hydraulic shocks) delivers excellent handling on the course.
Club Car's exclusive tires and wheels are engineered for comfort, stability, and quiet operation, with upgrade options like the 12” Athena wheels with Kruizer tires. Accessory options include practical golf-focused additions like the dual sand bottle kit, ball and club cleaner, premium cooler kit, and WeatherMax bag cover. For tech, you can add the Premium Sound Bar, overhead storage system, or LED lighting kit. It comes with LED headlights, turn signals, and running lamps, so you can keep riding after dark. 5
ATLAS 2 PASSENGER
STARTING PRICE: $11,999
COLOR OPTIONS: Pearl White, Jet Black, Ruby Red, Titanium Green
SEAT COLORS: Charcoal, Pebble
POWER OPTIONS: 105Ah Lithium Battery (standard) or 210Ah Lithium Battery upgrade

WHY WE LIKE IT: The Atlas 2 Passenger is a newer player in the golf cart space, but it's making a strong impression with its high-end look and feel. Atlas offers a Lifetime Powertrain Warranty on every 2026 model, which they say is an industry first and gives you serious peace of mind on your investment. The Atlas comes loaded right out of the box. The double diamond premium seats are wrapped in distressed marine-grade vinyl with elegant top stitching. The Italianmade steering wheel includes a scorecard holder, and every passenger gets their own cup holder. Inside, you'll find a 12.5 inch touchscreen with Bluetooth, wireless phone charging, and all the usual connectivity.
Premium aluminum 14” wheels, a folding windshield, and coil over shocks provide a smooth ride. The aluminum chassis prevents rust, and safety features include 4 wheel hydraulic disc brakes and 3 point seat belts. The on-board 110V charger makes it easy to keep charged. If you need street-legal capability, you can upgrade to an LSV model for $750.
At the end of the day, the best golf cart for the course comes down to many different factors. Whether you prefer a simple, plain jane ride or a cart loaded with all the bells and whistles, there are plenty of solid options to choose from in 2026. Every cart on this list is worth checking out, so take the time to figure out your budget and think through which features matter most to you. Once you know what you are looking for, choosing the right cart to enjoy those beautiful days on the course becomes much easier.

Q: Can I use or charge my lithium batteries in freezing temperatures?
A: You can safely operate a lithium-powered cart in cold weather, though you may notice a temporary reduction in range and power until the pack warms up. However, you should never charge a lithium battery below 32°F unless it is equipped with internal self-heating technology. Doing so causes "lithium plating," an irreversible process that ruins capacity and can cause internal short circuits. Simply put, charging in freezing conditions without a heater can cause permanent internal cell damage.
Q: How do I know if my lithium battery BMS has "tripped"?
A: If your cart suddenly loses all power and won't turn on, the BMS likely detected an over-discharge or short circuit. To reset it, plug it into the charger for 5–10 minutes or toggle the "Run/ Tow" switch to "Tow" and back to "Run" to reboot the system.
Q: Is my factory Samsung lithium battery in my EZGO TXT compatible with an aftermarket controller?
A: No, the proprietary logic (or language) that's embedded within the OEM style controller and the Samsung battery would be different. Removing this "link" will effectively cut off
communication to the BMS, as the battery will not be able to communicate with a new controller properly. So essentially if you want to change either the battery or controller in these systems, both would need to be changed.
Q: What products can protect my golf cart from theft?
A: Golf cart theft is increasingly common because many carts still use generic, non-unique keys. These systems prevent the cart from starting, even if someone has a generic key.
• Unique Key Ignition: Replace the factory 2-pin key switch with a unique keyed ignition cylinder. This ensures only your specific key can start the cart.
• RFID Smart Key Systems: Systems like the MadJax Passport use unique RFID fobs and a push-to-start button. The cart remains immobilized until the fob is tapped against a hidden sensor.
• Hidden Kill Switch: A low-cost DIY option involves installing a toggle or a button switch in a concealed location that interrupts the power to the ignition or to a fuel pump relay.
• Digital Keypads: Replace the key switch with a digital keypad requiring a 4-digit code to enable the controller.
