Tuesday there was the Hoag Classic Hall of Fame Community Breakfast, presented by Hoag Orthopedic Institute featuring Bernhard Langer. Wenesday, On March 25 was the Aston Martin Newport Beach Legends Pro-Am Here is where the future winner of the 2026 Hoag Classic Stewart Cink gave some advice on some of his successful golfing techniques quoted at the PRE-Tournament Press Conference He stated, “Well, I think what I love most about my swing is the way I’m using the ground. I play golf like a young person. I’m not that young, but I like that I play, think, swing, and work like a young person. That’s a lot different from many of the players I compete against. The game of golf has really evolved over my career, and I’ve tried very hard to change with it Part of that means I have to think like a young person that’s one thing I like about it. One thing I don’t like is that I don’t always feel like a young person It takes more work now to do the things I used to do more easily. I don’t enjoy that part as much, but I still have to do it and so I do ” Thursday was another day of the Pro Ams; continuing on to Friday where the Hoag Classic round one started. In addition to the round one there was the TP-Link Celebrity Challenge Saturday there was the Motive Salute to Service Day Celebrating Folds of Honor and the Hoag Classic Round 2. At 2:00 pm. there was the Motive Salute to Service Honoree recognition on 18th Green Followed by the City National Bank Celebrity Challenge.
