PROGRAM NOTES
“Isekai” (異世界 transl. “another world”) is a Japanese sub-genre of fiction. It includes manga, anime and video games that revolve around a person or people who are transported to and have to survive in another world, such as a fantasy world, game world, or parallel universe. ISEKAI DREAM is the composer's tribute to this fascinating subgenre, particularly to the soundtracks of Japanese role-playing games (JRPGs).

As if in a dream, our hero awakens in another mysterious and wonderful world, waiting to be discovered.
GOING ON AN ADVENTURE
The journey into the unknown begins: clear skies, mountains in the distance, lush vegetation everywhere, ancient ruins.
A FOREST DUNGEON
Our hero ventures into a forest dungeon: clear streams, mighty trees and a woodland breeze.
WONDERS OF NATURE
A clearing covered with flowers, with a giant moss-covered boulder in the centre and bioluminescence all around.
A DANGEROUS ENCOUNTER
The giant boulder transforms into a golem: let the battle commence!
VICTORY FANFARE
After a difficult comeback, the hero defeats the golem and continues his adventure.
ABOUT THE COMPOSER
Born in Mantua in 1989, Luca Pettinato graduated with a degree in Composition from the Conservatory of Music of his hometown followed by a degree with honors in Wind Band Orchestration from the Conservatory of Music of Trent. His music have appeared in concert programs in various Italian cities and abroad (Spain, France, Austria, Slovenia, Norway, Hungary, Germany and Japan). In 2013, the jury of the international composition competition for sacred music “Benedetto XVI” in Rome, presided over by Ennio Morricone, awarded him the 2nd prize. In 2017 he was awarded the 2nd prize at the international composition competition for marches “Città di Allumiere” (Rome) and the 1st prize (section B) at the international competition of original compositions for youth wind band organized by the Wind Band Federation of the Province of Trent. In 2022, the Wind Bands of Gazoldo degli Ippoliti (Mantua) and Dossobuono (Verona), where Luca Pettinato has been the conductor since 2010 and 2017 respectively, won 1st prize in the third and second categories at the “Flicorno d’Oro” International Band Competition; thanks to these achievements, he received a special mention from the jury. In 2025, he won the 6th Young Composer's Competition organised by Joe Hisaishi in Tokyo, the only prize awarded out of 123 participants. His works are published by Scomegna Edizioni Musicali, Da Vinci Publishing and Golden Hearts Publications.

「異世界」は、日本のフィクションのサブジャンルです。ファンタジー世界、ゲーム世界、パラレルワールドなど、異世 界に転生した人物や人々がそこで生き抜く物語を描いた漫画、アニメ、ビデオゲームなどが含まれます。ISEKAI DREAMは、この魅力的なサブジャンル、特に日本のロールプレイングゲーム（JRPG）のサウンドトラックへの作曲家 からのオマージュです。
異世界の夢（THE DREAM OF ANOTHER WORLD）

主人公は森のダンジョンへと足を踏み入れます。澄んだ小川、雄大な木々、そして森のそよ風。
自然の驚異（WONDERS OF NATURE）
花々に覆われた広場の中央には、苔むした巨大な岩がそびえ立ち、周囲は生物発光に包まれている。 危険な遭遇（A DANGEROUS ENCOUNTER）
巨大な岩がゴーレムへと変貌する。戦いの火蓋が切って落とされた！ 勝利のファンファーレ（VICTORY FANFARE）

作曲者について
1989年マントヴァ生まれのルカ・ペッティナートは、故郷の音楽院で作曲の学位を取得後、トレント音楽院で吹奏楽オ ーケストレーションの学位を優秀な成績で取得しました。彼の作品は、イタリア各地および海外（スペイン、フランス、 オーストリア、スロベニア、ノルウェー、ハンガリー、ドイツ、日本）のコンサートで演奏されています。2013年には、 エンニオ・モリコーネが審査委員⾧を務めたローマの国際宗教音楽作曲コンクール「ベネデット 16世」で第2位を受賞 しました。2017年には、ローマの国際行進曲作曲コンクール「チッタ・ディ・アルミエーレ」で第2位、トレント州吹 奏楽連盟主催の青少年吹奏楽のためのオリジナル作品国際コンクールで第 1位（B部門）を受賞しました。 2022年、ル カ・ペッティナートがそれぞれ2010年と2017年から指揮者を務めるガゾルド・デッリ・イッポリティ吹奏楽団（マン トヴァ）とドッソブオーノ吹奏楽団（ヴェローナ）は、「フリコルノ・ドーロ」国際吹奏楽コンクールで第3部門と第2 部門でそれぞれ1位を獲得し、審査員から特別賞を授与されました。2025年には、久石譲主催の第6回若手作曲家コン クール（東京）で優勝。123名の参加者の中で唯一の受賞者となりました。彼の作品は、スコメーニャ・エディツィオー ニ・ムジカーリ、ダ・ヴィンチ・パブリッシング、ゴールデン・ハーツ・パブリケーションズから出版されています。
