讃 ～吹奏楽のために ………………………………….………… 演奏時間 : 約 8 分 30 秒 【曲目解説】
篠栗町吹奏楽団（福岡県）の創立 10 周年を記念し 2013 年秋から 2014 年初頭にかけて作曲。同団音楽監督（当時）・ 尾木恒雄氏の指揮により 2014 年 3 月 23 日初演。
作品は、楽団の 10 年を讃えるものだけではなく、「新四国八十八箇所霊場」で名高い篠栗町の風土や歴史、人々への 讃辞でもあります。篠栗の特定の情景や物語を音で描写することを意図してはいませんが、豊かな自然や 、「昔」と 静かに向き合いながらも「未来」に向かって歩もうとする人々の姿や鼓動が反映されているかもしれません（きっと 篠栗を訪れる巡礼者だって、「今」を起点に「昔」と静かに対話することによって、自らの「未来」を見ようとして いるのでしょう）。
曲は大きく三つの部分からなっており、さしずめ「序破急」ともいえる構成をとっています。「序」（冒頭～リハーサ ルマーク B ）は主要モティーフの提示、「破」（ C ～ G ）は２つの主題の提示、「急」（ H ）は展開部（および再現部） となっています。

Composed in January 2014 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Sasaguri Wind Orchestra (Fukuoka Prefecture). Premiered on 23 March 2014 under the baton of Tsuneo Ogi, the orchestra’s then Music Director.
The work is not merely a celebration of the orchestra’s ten years, but also an expression of respect for those who have supported the orchestra, and a tribute to the climate, history and people of Sasaguri Town, renowned for the ‘New Shikoku 88 Sacred Sites’. Whilst I did not intend to depict specific scenes or stories of Sasaguri through sound, the piece may reflect the rich natural surroundings and the figures and heartbeats of people who, whilst quietly engaging with the ‘past’, are striving to move towards the ‘future’. (Surely even pilgrims visiting Sasaguri are attempting to glimpse their own ‘future’ by quietly conversing with the ‘past’, taking the ‘present’ as their starting point...)
The piece consists largely of three sections, adopting a structure that might be described as ‘Jo-Ha-Kyū’. ‘Jo’ (from the opening to rehearsal mark B ) presents the main motif; ‘Ha’ (from C to G ) introduces two themes; and ‘Kyū’ (from H onwards) forms the development (and recapitulation) section. 正門研一 Ken’ichi MASAKADO 1966 年、福岡県春日市生まれ。武蔵野音楽大学卒業（音楽学専攻）。1998 年、第 9 回朝日作曲賞入選。受賞作の 行進曲『エンブレムズ 』は、1999 年度「全日本吹奏楽コンクール」の課題曲に採用されたほか、2009 年と 2013 年には台湾の吹奏楽コンクールで課題曲に採用された。
北九州市消防音楽隊（2003 年〜2005 年）および大分県警察音楽隊（2006 年〜2017 年）の楽長を歴任。2008 年に は、大分県で開催された「第 63 回 国民体育大会・第 8 回 全国障害者スポーツ大会」の式典音楽を制作したほか、
式典音楽隊の指揮を務めた。
現 在 、大分市を 拠 点に作 編 曲 活 動を行なっており、作品は ゴ ール デ ン・ハー ツ・パ ブリ ケ ー ショ ンズ、ブレーン・ ミュージック、スコメーニャ音楽出版（イタリア）から出版されている。作編曲活動に加え、指揮、国内外のコン
クール審査員、研究、執筆、雑誌等への寄稿なども精力的に行なっている。
2023 年には、イタリアの「第 7 回 国際行進曲作曲コンクール “チッタ・ディ・アッルミエーレ”」において、 『シャイニ ン グ ソウ ル ３ 』がコンサート・マーチ部門第 1 位を獲得した。
Born in Kasuga, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan in 1966. Graduated from Musashino Academia Musicae, Tokyo (musicology). In 1998, “EMBLEMS, Military March” selected for the 9th Asahi Composition Award (wind music). This piece was selected for the required piece for the 1999 All Japan Band Contest. It has also been selected as the test piece for the band contests in Taiwan twice (2009 and 2013).
He was the music director and conductor for the Band of Kitakyushu City Fire and Disaster Management Department (2003~2005) and Oita Prefectural Police Band (2006~2017).
In 2008, produced ceremony music for the National Sports Festival and conducted the ceremony band and chorus. He composed many pieces for Wind band and wind instruments. His works have been published by Golden Hearts Publications (Japan), Brain Music (Japan), Scomegna Edizioni Musicali (Italy)
In addition to composing and arranging activities, he is also a judge for the competition, researcher, and author.
In 2023, “Shining Soul 3, Concert March” won the first prize at the “Concert March” category of the “7th International Composition Competition for Marches : Città di Allumiere” held in Italy.
