Spring Kaleidoscope_Program Notes
This piano duo piece was inspired by the Taiwanese folk song “Peach Blossom Takes the Ferry”. The music proceeds with variations on the tune. The motif frequently reappears to express the lively,relaxed, and full of joy and fun. It has been premiered by Prof. Ting Wen Shao and Prof. Nam Yeung at the 2019 ASIA International Piano Academy & Festival in Korea at EWHA Womans University in Seoul, Korea on July 31, 2019.
