Thetitle"冀(Ji)"istheancientChinesecharacterfor“hope”Thismusicisinspiredby thepaintingsofCenLong Hispaintingsreflecttheeffluxofhumanemotionswitha profoundartisticexpression,whichevinceshumanismandtherootsofhumannature Thecomposercreatesatriopieceforflute,erhuandpiano Byexploringthechange, recombinationandreconciliationofthetimbreamongtheinstruments,thetonesinthe paintingsarethuselucidated.Thedifferentmusicalphrasingsfortheinstruments createanauditorydistanceamongthevoices,whichreflectstheabstractdistance amongthevariousemotionsfromcorrespondingimages.Therhythmic,harmonicand melodicvariationsepitomizetheaestheticsoflivelinessandtranquilityinthe paintings.Thecontrastbetweenrealityandillusion,betweenexistenceand disappearance,leadstoemotionalgapsandhurdles,whicheventuallysubmittothe simplisticnatureofhumanity.Inthelineardevelopmentofthemusic,thesound evolvestotheoriginalessencethroughvariousaestheticphasesofvirtuality/reality, wrapping/unfolding,gathering/scattering,distancing/closing,and brightening/darkening Thedifferenttexturesofthesoundtransform,enhance,and diminishtoshowthehopeformusic'svitalityandtoexpresshuman'scontemplation andinspirationoflife Thispiececonsistsofthreesections:thebirthoflife,thecourse oflife,andthesublimationoflife Usingastyleofminimalism,themusicsymbolizes loveemergingfromthemediocrityAshumanbeingsproliferatefromgenerationto generation,thehopeescalatesandfulfillsourhearts
標題《冀》為希望的古⽂,此部作品靈感來⾃於中國畫家岑龍的繪畫作品,其作品反映⼈ 類情感流入,寓有深遠的意境,將⼈⽂關愛及樸實⼈性的依歸表露無遺。因此作曲者以長 笛、⼆胡及鋼琴三重奏的編制來創作,利⽤不同樂器間⾳⾊的變化、重組及調和來呈現 畫中的⾊調,運⽤不同樂器的演奏語法,企圖在聲⾳的距離及抽象情感距離的各類意象相 對應。節奏及和聲旋律的層遞對比關係則象徵畫作中清新⽽靜謐的美感,現實與幻覺、 存在與消失之間的情感距離、跨越,最終回歸⼈類純樸的本質。在⾳樂的線性中,將聲⾳ 回到原有的本質-虛/實,層次/剝落,聚/散,遠/近,明/暗的美學原則下,藉由不同織度的聲⾳ 互相轉化,消長,盈虛,展現⾳樂的⽣機希望,道出⼈類對⽣命本體的沈思與啟發。此曲分 三部份:⽣命的誕⽣,⽣命的歷程,⽣命的昇華。時⽽運⽤極簡主義風格表現,象徵平凡有 愛,⼈類⼀代又⼀代繁衍,⽣⽣不息,充滿希望。
