Going Places Facts and Figures

The Deadline for submitting material is the 20th of each month. Submissions received after that date will appear in a later edition. Articles written and submitted to Going Places are done so on a voluntary basis.

The views, opinions or suggested links provided by the editors do not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of AZPCA or PCA and have not been indorsed as such.

PRESIDENT’S NOTE Dan Bouet

Spring is here, and AZPCA continues to stay busy.

As we move into April, I want to thank all of our volunteers, chairs, and board members for everything they do behind the scenes. There is a lot that goes into planning events, managing sponsors, coordinating merchandise, handling finances, keeping the website updated, managing social media, publishing this newsletter, and making sure the club continues to run smoothly. It takes a lot of people giving their time, and it is greatly appreciated.

For this month, I would like to provide the members some details on the club’s recent developments. March brought several important board discussions. One topic was PCA’s drone policy. PCA National has strict guidelines that drones cannot be used at events or in club media without proper licensing, insurance, and approval. We must remind our members that drones are not permitted at driving tours, other club events, or in member-submitted content unless they have been specifically approved in advance.

There continues to be strong participation across the various club events.

Porsche & Pancakes remains sold out months in advance, autocross wraps up the season at Phoenix Raceway with the April 4 event, and driving tours continue to fill quickly. Our recent New Members Day had sold-out attendance, and it is encouraging to continue seeing both longtime members and newer members getting involved. Our DE team is ready for a new season with the new leadership team Mark Dreher and Martin Wylie- they just organized their first HPDE at Inde Motorsports Ranch this past weekend. Aaron Heimke, our Director at Large and Tech Session Coordinator, is working on several additional tech session opportunities.

The Board approved moving forward with the November 7 concours event at The McCormick Scottsdale. We have held our concours there in the past, and are excited for a return.

On the sponsorship side, we welcome Dynamic Tint as a new Silver Sponsor, and continue conversations with returning sponsors and local businesses interested in supporting the club. Sponsorship support helps us continue to offer quality events and experiences throughout the year.

The Bylaws Committee is also continuing work on updating club bylaws to align with National PCA requirements while still maintaining the way AZPCA has historically operated. We are reviewing budgets, reimbursement policies, and other operational items to make sure the club remains in a strong position moving forward.

As always, thank you for being part of AZPCA. Whether you attend events regularly, volunteer, sponsor the club, or simply enjoy being part of the Porsche community, you help make this region what it is. I hope to see you at a future event,

From the EDITORS Gregg and Ali Bull

There is an old saying that normally relates to the weather, it goes... “In like a Lion out like a Lamb”, For the Snowbirds in our club this was never so true as the Valley was subjected to a very early heatwave which caught many of our northern travelling members flat footed. Having the most resilient Club Members that we do, nothing stopped them from enjoying all the great events that were planned, March was a month full of some very “cool” adventures.

Mark and Jeanne organized this year’s hugely successful “New Members’ Day” see page 10. Check out the upcoming driving tours courtesy of Peo and Rook on page 11. Our “Featured Member” this month is Ashley Cicerone, Q&A’s can be found on pages 18-19.

Alexander Tosh has written an article about his Crown King Off-Road adventure, see pages 26-28.

Dennis’s 4th Annual “All Porsche Display was a hit as usual. See pages 30-31 for all the details. Rita has shared with our members an article about the “Ladies-Only” field trip, see pages 60-61. Debbie arranged another Ladies-Only drive to Boyce Thompson.

Jake put together what sounded like a great adventure to Old Tucson (article in next month’s GP) Dennis’s March PnP was held at The Breakfast Joynt, April takes us to the 5 & Diner.

Jim and Nancy opened the CAF doors at Falcon Field for a tour of the facility (article next month) Mark Dreher took the reins for his first HPDE event at INDE, looking forward to hearing about that. Danielle has written another excellent column, jump down to pages 62-63. David’s Stuttgart Market Letter is always informative and worth a read, pages 64-65. PCA National is running another Raffle and the first prize is an absolute gem, see page 72.

For the Sea Faring members check out page 73 for this year’s “Treffen at Sea”

April is already shaping up to be another interesting month so take a look throughout this edition of Going Places and as always check out our Website which is continuously being updated.

Please welcome our 2 new Sponsors....

Review - AZPCA Off-Road Adventure

On Saturday, February 28, 2026, 26 Arizona Region members in 13 Porsche Macans & Cayennes and in a variety of other off-road vehicles, ascended on the tiny old mining community of Crown King in the Bradshaw Mountains for a great lunch and the usual Porsche comradery.

Off the Beaten Path: PCA Arizona’s Crown King Adventure

When most people think of Porsche Club of America events, they picture sweeping asphalt, apexes, and perfectly paved roads. This time, we aimed for something different. The Arizona Region recently organized an off-road driving tour to the historic Crown King Saloon. Not as a performance exercise, but as an adventure.

Trading Pavement for Dust

We first gathered in Anthem, AZ, behind the local First Watch under bright Arizona skies. Familiar faces eager for something off the beaten path. Members brought a variety of vehicles better suited for dirt. That diversity didn’t matter; what united the group was the spirit of exploration. After a driver’s meeting and route overview, we set off toward the Bradshaw Mountains. Gradually, smooth blacktop gave way to gravel and then to the rugged, historic road climbing toward Crown King.

The terrain gradually changed from desert scrub and saguaros to cooler pine forest as we gained elevation. Washboard sections tested suspensions, and wide mountain vistas reminded us why Arizona is such an incredible place to drive. Dust clouds lingered behind the convoy and eventually obscured visibility, especially for those in the back. This forced us to slow down the pace—but that’s okay, since this wasn’t about speed. It was about the shared experience.

Review - AZPCA Off-Road Adventure

A Step Back in Time

Arriving in Crown King feels like entering another era. Weathered wood storefronts, corrugated metal siding, and narrow dirt streets create an Old West backdrop that perfectly suits a day of adventure. The Crown King Saloon & Eatery welcomed the group with its unmistakable character walls covered in decades of photos and memorabilia, wood floors worn smooth by generations of visitors, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to sit down and stay awhile.

Conversations over lunch were memorable. Members who had exchanged only brief introductions at prior events were now swapping stories like old friends. Taking the road less traveled has a way of accelerating camaraderie.

More Than Just Cars

What made this tour special wasn’t the terrain or the destination; it was the reminder of PCA's spirit, rooted in friendship, passion, and shared experience. By choosing a route that was literally off the beaten path, we stepped outside the typical Porsche playbook and embraced a different kind of driving adventure. It showcased the flexibility of our club and its members' willingness to try something new together.

Sometimes the most memorable drives aren’t about the smoothest roads or the fastest corners. Sometimes they’re about the people beside you, the stories shared at the destination, and the adventure along the way.

4th ALL Porsche Grand Display - The results

I was driving East at sunrise on Sunday March 1st on the Carefree Highway to help set up for our Porsche Display that day, and I said to myself, “What a beautiful day in August this is” BUT it was in AZ. In Seattle area, where our main residence is, we have to wait until then for this kind of weather, hence why we are here in fall and winter. The weather was great that day.

We had 94 cars registered this year, but illness and sudden issues reduced our display to 85 cars Enough to still have a very nice show. We started loading in later this year at 7:30 AM and all cars were in and place by 8:45 AM. We opened the show with the National Anthem, made a few announcements and turned up the jazz music for the rest of the day. Judging of the cars started at 10:00 AM, The criteria are 1. Cleanliness, 2. Presentation and 3.POP. It doesn’t mean that just clean bright colors will win but a car that is very nicely prepared and presented in any color. Teams of judges for each of 6 groups decided on the awards and each group got 3 awards

Awards were given out at 1:15 PM and we were all done by 1:45PM.

Thank you to all who brought their cars, all the volunteers who showed up early to set up and stayed late to take down and to the Town of Carefree for once again hosting our event.

It has come to the Region’s attention that several hundred members are not receiving the AZPCA Region’s eNews email blasts. Or the member at one time elected to opt out of receiving the emails and would like to begin receiving them.

AZPCA Region would like to help the members in resolving this issue of you not receiving the eNews emails. Autocross is the sport of trying to navigate your car through a defined course of pylons usually on a large parking lot, faster than your competition.

Autocross courses are set up using soft orange traffic pylon cones (which will not damage your car) and events are run at speeds usually between 40 -65 MPH, usually all in 2nd gear. Autocross is a “performance driving event” and a safe way to learn how to drive your car at its limits. You not only learn how to handle your car at speeds that you drive daily, but you also: Gain confidence in your driving ability. Learn the limits of your car’s brakes. Learn correct seating, hand, and feet positions. Learn the limits of your car’s tire adhesion. Most importantly, autocross is a social gathering of friends with a common interest and is simply a ton of fun!

Your family is welcome and there are usually plenty of people to socialize with.

Be prepared for big fun.

HPDE - DRIVING YOUR PORSCHE ON THE TRACK

Expand your car control skills and explore the capabilities of your Porsche on a racetrack in a safe, controlled environment with no speed limits! AZPCA’s HPDE & TT program (that’s short for High Performance Driver Education and Time Trials) is all about experiencing your Porsche on a road circuit. AZPCA provides personal driving instructors for new participants to guide them through the day. Our instructors will navigate you along the road circuit, teach you the fundamentals of driving at track speeds, but also keep you in a comfort zone so you have a good time. There are flaggers on track, just like at a real racing event. The club also arranges an ambulance and tow truck on site for emergencies.

For the HPDE events, four groups of approximately 10-25 drivers are formed based on experience levelBeginner, Intermediate, Experienced, Advanced. Grouping allows everyone attending to have a good time. Beginners don’t have to stress about having little/no experience- chances are, there are several other drivers in the same group just starting out.

Based on instructor evaluation, you are advanced to the next group up when appropriate. Sometimes this is after one day, or sometimes it takes a several events. Higher run groups typically mean more speed but with a better, practiced skill set to control the speed safely. This keeps track days exciting for you as you advance your skill set.

While this is definitely NOT racing, there is a natural tendency to evaluate yourself to other drivers in your group, but HPDE is not structured to award “fast” times. To satisfy the competitive nature in you, we offer options for all levels of expertise.

IMPORTANT AZPCA Information

AZPCA Region Event Cancelation Policies & Event Organizer Responsibilities

Event Cancellation Policy

Most of our events have attendance limits, and they fill up quickly. Also, we often have waiting lists for those wishing to attend but do not have a secured attendance spot. Increasingly, attendees sign up and simply do not show up for the event without canceling in advance. This behavior impacts the event registrar/organizer, the event facility, and those on the waiting list wanting to attend but cannot. This behavior demonstrates a lack of common courtesy, requiring it to be addressed proactively. On the first occurrence a warning will be issued, and on the second occurrence privileges to attend future events may be impacted. Also, any registration fees for paid events will be forfeited without recourse since the club is charged regardless. The cancelation policy requires cancelation of your registration on MSR for paid or unpaid events a minimum of 7 days prior to the event date, unless there are serious and extenuating emergency circumstances as assessed by the event registrar/organizer. Most importantly, please be courteous to your fellow members so that everyone has an opportunity to enjoy events.

Event Organizer Responsibilities

Event organizers are required to send out a reminder approximately 9 days in advance of any event reminding registrants of the event and summarizing their responsibilities by including the following language:

Thank you for your RSVP. Please note that whether or not there is a registration fee for this event, the restaurant is expecting a certain number of attendees we provide to them in advance and incur cost accordingly If you need to cancel please do so at least one week prior to the event date (being a no-show without notice is rude to other members who wish to attend, the restaurant and to the event organizer). Additionally, if there is a fee or prepayment associated with the event, it will be forfeited if cancelled less than 7 days before the event. Thank you!”

Additionally, event organizers are requested to send out a reminder two or three days prior to the event simply as a courtesy to remind those attending.

IMPORTANT AZPCA Information

Reimbursement & Stipend Policy for AZPCA HPDE Events:

1. Reimbursement is provided to 5 key workers / volunteers for actual round-trip fuel cost (upon providing receipts), and if applicable, $120/night stipend for lodging/ incidentals. If it is not an overnight event and/or a requirement, then spend is reduced to $40. Key workers are volunteers that are attending the event solely to work the event but not participate in the event. Examples could be: Grid worker(s), Safety inspector(s), Timing and Scoring Chair, Safety Chair, Event Chair, CDI. Excludes: Corner workers/flaggers.

2. A corner worker/flagger is offered a $100 stipend or a $175 MSR credit for a future HPDE event, by choice of the flagger.

3. Other non-critical volunteer positions are provided a lunch (lunch will either paid for individually or provided as part of event to all participants).

4. The Event Organizer is reimbursed for fuel costs related to event planning/execution and round-trip fuel cost (upon providing receipts and log).

5. Continue to offer discounted registration fees for approved AZPCA Instructors.

Future AZPCA Event - Verde Valley Train & Wine Tasting

We will take a scenic drive north on the Beeline (SR87), through Payson, Pine, Camp Verde and into Cottonwood/Clarkdale.

En route we pass vintage trestles, travel through a 734-foot tunnel and tour beautiful red rock canyon scenery and the riparian curves of the Verde River. The trip is fully narrated, and the narration is interspersed with fun railroad tunes of every genre.

The train has all the same comfortable living room-style accommodations, featuring overstuffed chairs and loveseats, complimentary appetizers, and a complimentary glass of champagne or sparkling cider upon boarding. ROC2 is a very small coffee roastery located at 7003 E. Cave Creek Rd. Roasting in the Valley since 1997, ROC2 provides Arizona residents, retailers, restaurants and resorts with some of the best fresh and local coffee.

The ROC2 operations manager, led an educational session on everything you never knew about organic coffee; like all the steps it takes so a coffee lover can have the perfect cup of coffee; from sourcing, storing, roasting, cooling, bagging and delivery.

ROC2 travels the globe in search of the finest organic coffees from the four major growing regions - Central America, South America, Africa and Indonesia with sourcing from a number of Fair Trade and Direct Trade partners. We witnessed state-of-the-art roasting, cooling, and bagging equipment in action.

On our tour, we sampled perfect Black and Tan medium roast coffee, followed by four other hot samples, then we sampled cold brew and nitro brew. ROC2 uses special techniques so not to under roast or over roast; they find the sweet spot where the nuanced flavor profiles of each coffee are revealed.

ROC2 is open Monday through Friday and sells coffee beans to walk-in customers. They also have an outside honor-system refrigeration where you can pick up coffee beans and cold brew anytime and deposit your payment in a slot or pay by Zelle.

Review - AZPCA Ladies Only - Field Trip

After the tour, we moved across the street for lunch to The Village Coffee Shop in Stagecoach Village With a selection of more than 30 crepes, there was something for everyone. The owner, Marina Matatov, also known as the Crepe Queen by locals and the Dining Guide, has been running the crepe industry in Cave Creek Arizona since 2010 and has received numerous praise and awards for her crepe creations.

Some members continued on to enjoy a last-minute “bonus” activity added to our field trip. We visited the Cave Creek Olive Oil Company, conveniently located just 1.5 miles from the Village Coffee Shop. “Grove to Table” is the motto of this family-run business, and they deliver the highest quality olive oils and balsamic vinegars (more than 75 flavors!) from around the world, all year long. We sampled a variety of flavors, including Black Truffle Pure Olive Oil and Aged Fig Dark Balsamic. In addition to their superb oils and inspiring balsamics, the shop offers homemade pasta, raw honey, decadent alcoholic chocolate sauces, and other specialty foods! Helpful recipe ideas are available in the store and online, making it easy to turn our new finds into memorable meals.

A good time was had by all. Please be sure to visit these local Cave Creek shops next time you need specialty coffee beans or a delicious breakfast or lunch out.

Story

Danielle’s Column - Break on through to another Season

So. As spring follows winter, another Formula 1 season launches. Along with another “Drive to Survive” season. The same weekend. It’s the perfect confluence. The perfect gearhead refuge from the craziness of the world. Or is it.

Here’s what I did. I watched the first race of the 2026 season, from Melbourne, Australia, on Apple TV. I also got through the first episodes of season eight of “Drive.” My head is spinning. So much is the same. So much is different. Let me try to sort it out.

The telecast. Where do I begin? Literally all the players we’ve gotten to know, over the past few years … well, they’re gone. All gone. At least from this telecast.

And here’s the weird part. It’s like someone neutron-bombed the old Sky format, let the dust settle and replaced everyone with new faces. Same format, and I mean the exact same format. The pit walk. The driver interviews. The geeked-out tech analysis. Only … Juan Pablo Montoya surges through the field to become an expert commentator. Crofty and Martin Brundle are gone from the booth, replaced by Alex Jacques (who?) and Jolyon Palmer, who they note is an ex-F1 driver. I didn’t remember him.

Wait, wait, I just checked on something. Google says Apple TV viewers can also access the actual Sky Sports broadcast. I didn’t see a link….

The geeking rises to another level. Tracer data on team cars. Multiple superimposed simulations of team cars on-track. Efforts to explain all the arcane rule changes – the press to pass button, front and rear active aero, battery harvesting/coasting/a flat charge on the grid … how does that even happen? I’m trying to grasp it all, and I’m afraid I’m nowhere near even a modicum of understanding, at least not yet.

Maybe we’ll get used to the new new. And maybe the teams will get used to all the new tech. Until then, this season will shape up as a giant learning experience, in more ways than one. And that unintended consequence may actually create one of the more interesting seasons in years. I kinda hope so.

As for “Drive,” well, yikes, let me cite a TV commercial that ran pretty incessantly in the NY Metro area when I was growing up. It was for Syms Clothiers, a discount clothing chain, and it featured the owner/founder, Sy Syms. His tagline, which was pounded in our heads, again and again, was this; “An educated consumer is our best customer.”

Yeah, you know what’s coming. After eight whole seasons … can you believe it? Please, please, please do something – anything – new. Educate the viewer. Elevate the level of understanding. How about it, Netflix?

The plight of the rookies. Kimi Antonelli trying to find his way around the track. Liam Lawson getting demoted at Red Bull, after two races. Then Yuki taking the seat … and falling flat, too. Flavio Briatore bringing the hammer down on Jack Doohan. Christian Horner being summarily

Danielle’s Column - Break on through to another Season

relieved of duties. Lewis trying to maneuver through the red haze at Ferrari. To paraphrase Seinfeld, it’s all yada, yada, yada. It’s excruciating.

Oh, and let’s not forget the plaintive “push, push, push.” We’ve seen it all before, we’ve heard it all before. Ad nauseum. I just don’t understand why the producers don’t do something –anything – to elevate the knowledge differential, as Sy Syms would do.

How? Well, here we go again. If it’s so hard to drive an F1 car competitively, why is that?

What does it take? What’s the difference in performance between drivers? What are they doing differently? And the cars, the powertrains, the designs, the aero. Why do some drivers, and some teams, succeed. While some fail. Some rise up. While some slide back. Year after year.

Sometimes during the course of a season.

Speaking of which, how much more difficult is a modern F1 car to drive than, say, a Le Mans prototype? Or the state of the art ten years ago? Twenty years ago? Thirty years ago? What are the relative lap times? Cornering forces? Acceleraton figures?

What would happen if you plucked a champion sports car driver into an F1 car? A rally champ? A weekend auto-crosser? A track junkie? Your mother-in-law?

And the teams. Sure, the team principal is important. But … it’s a team! Just who else is on the typical team? And what do they do? How much do they make? Why do they do it? What’s their life like?

Or, and this one is hard to swallow. Maybe “Drive” just isn’t produced for us. Maybe its audience has solidified around the casual fan, who’s caught up in the unending narrowcast drama of those who get behind the wheel, and those they report to. And maybe we should just let it go. Shrug our shoulders. Walk away.

Ahh, history in this country has shown that the sport is much too fragile. It would be a shame.

The Stuttgart Market Letter

Over the past few years, what many once thought of simply as the Amelia Island auctions has evolved into something bigger. Thanks to RM Sotheby’s launching its ModaMiami sale the week prior, “Florida Car Week” has effectively become a two week run of major auctions, beginning in Miami and finishing on Amelia Island with Gooding Christie’s and Broad Arrow. For Porsche collectors, the numbers were impressive once again. In 2025, a total of 78 Porsches crossed the block with an 85% sell-through rate generating $35,886,680 in sales. 2026 saw slightly fewer cars offered at 72, but with the same 85% sell-through rate and an even stronger $37,218,700 in total dollar volume, proving that while the lineup may have shifted between venues, demand for top tier Porsches during Florida Car Week remains as strong as ever.

If 2025 was the year of the RUF, then 2026 may very well be remembered as the year of the Carrera GT. Earlier this year we saw a fairly standard 2,000 mile example finished in Seal Grey over Dark Grey top the $3 million mark, leaving many to wonder whether it was simply a one off result or the beginning of a new pricing tier for Porsche’s V10 hypercar. Florida gave us the answer. Three Carrera GTs crossed the block and the momentum clearly continued, with a pair of GT Silver Metallic examples both clearing $3 million. The standout, however, was a 2,800 mile Paint to Sample Gulf Blue example over Ascot Brown leather. Believed to be the first true factory PTS Carrera GT we have seen at auction in quite some time, it reset the market in emphatic fashion with a world record sale of $6,715,000.

RUF was not completely out of the picture, though, with six examples crossing the block across the Florida sales. The rarest of the bunch was a 1989 RUF 928R, the only W09 VIN RUF 928 ever built. Showing less than 1,600 miles and equipped with a RUF tuned V8, carbon ceramic brakes, and the brand’s iconic five spoke wheels, it was certainly one of the more unusual cars of the week. Unfortunately, it failed to sell on the block at $260,000, but later found a home post sale for $335,000 against a presale estimate of $400,000 to $500,000. Topping the RUF results, however, was a 2016 RUF Turbo Florio that brought $692,500. A strong number by most standards, though still about $17,000 short of the price the same car achieved when it last crossed the auction block back in 2022.

The biggest story to come out of Florida may have been the transaxle cars. Two exceedingly rare 968 variants crossed the block in the form of a 1993 968 Turbo S and a 1993 968 Turbo RS, with both bidding to an eye opening $775,000. Incredible money for a transaxle Porsche. In the end it was the RS that hammered sold while the S went unsold. Elsewhere in the segment we saw a strong result for a 968 Club Sport at $89,600 and an even more surprising $61,600 paid for a 12,580 mile 968 Cabriolet finished in the striking combination of Coral Red Metallic over Light Grey and Classic Grey leather. My pick of the transaxle litter, however, was the 924 Turbo rally car that competed in the 1979 Rallye Monte Carlo. It sold for $75,600, which feels like a bit of a deal.

356s also had a strong showing in Florida with 18 cars crossing the block and an impressive 89% sell-through rate. Leading the way was a 1956 356A 1600 Speedster restored in its original White over Red color combination. Originally delivered through Hoffman Motors, the car carried considerable history dating back to the late 1970s documenting long term preservation into the late 2010s, followed by an extensive restoration within the last decade. It ultimately sold for $357,000. Even the lowest 356 result of the week was still a strong showing for the model. A 1962 356B Notchback finished in Champagne Yellow over Black Leatherette, one of approximately 699 Porsche 356 B T6 Karmann Notchback Coupes built, had been extensively refurbished between 2019 and 2020 and retained its matching numbers engine per its Kardex. It sold for $81,200.

There were few other noteworthy results to come out of Florida as well. Leading the pack was a staggering $5,505,000 paid for a 959 Sport, one of the original eight examples sent to the United States before being turned

The Stuttgart Market Letter

away when the DOT and EPA deemed them ineligible for import. On the modern side, we saw a strong $767,000 result for a 2016 911 R. Another 959, this time an SC reimagined by Canepa, was bid to $2,900,000, which was right in line with recent comps, but ultimately failed to sell. Meanwhile, one of the more historically interesting cars of the week, a 1969 911 GT-S, one of just ten built and used by Porsche as a testing and development car, brought $357,000 against a presale estimate of $500,000 to $750,000.

Florida was one for the books, and certainly one for the record books as well. Looking ahead, the auction calendar does not slow down much. Broad Arrow returns with its Air | Water all Porsche sale in April, followed by Bonhams Miami and Greenwich auctions in May. After that, the market begins its steady march toward Pebble Beach, with plenty of online auction action in between. If Florida Car Week was any indication, it should be an interesting few months ahead for the Porsche market.

What’s happening in the Porsche Market Place?

Launched in 2017, the 991 Turbo S Exclusive Series marked the debut of the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur brand and represented the most opulent and powerful expression of the 991 Turbo S. Output was increased to 607 bhp, paired with extensive carbon-fiber bodywork including the hood, roof, rear wing, and full aero kit, along with Exclusive Design wheels, a revised rear fascia, and black -painted calipers. Finished in Golden Yellow Metallic with exposed carbon racing stripes, the interior mirrored the exterior drama with Golden Yellow leather accents, contrast stitching, Alcantara headliner detailing, and copper -thread inlaid carbon trim. Production was limited to just 300 Coupes and 200 Cabriolets worldwide. This 2018 911 Turbo S Coupe Exclusive Series was finished in Golden Yellow Metallic over a Black leather interior with signature Golden Yellow accents and showed 5,826 miles. It was optioned with 20 -inch carbon-fiber center-lock wheels, Burmester, Front Axle Lift, additional Alcantara upholstery, and more. A new battery was installed roughly 15 months ago, and the two -year/20,000-mile scheduled maintenance was completed at Porsche Bethesda on July 30, 2025. Over the past twelve months, only one Turbo S Exclusive Series has sold, a sub1,000-mile example that brought $350,000 back in April. Our Spotlight car previously failed to sell in August at $267,500, followed by another no-sale of a slightly higher-mileage example at $263,000. This time around it found a buyer, selling at a final bid of $272,000.

PCA has 20 registries for those super enthusiastic about their Porsche model

The PCA Registry program was established in 1995 to encourage closer relationships within Porsche model owners in PCA. The program allows PCA members to network with others in their specific area of interest. Sharing of information fosters restoration and maintenance of members’ automobiles. A registry can potentially provide a new resource for historical displays at Parades and other PCA events, along with information for articles in Porsche Panorama.
