Mental Health
Mental health is our emotional, behavioral, and cognitive well-being. Mental health exists on a complex continuum and is experienced differently from one person to the next. The state of our mental health influences how we think, how we feel, and how we behave (e.g. ability to regulate our emotions so that we don’t get so frustrated we end up causing harm). When we are feeling mentally healthy, we are able to better handle stress, interact with others, and make good decisions.
