XLRI PGDM (GM) Overview
XLRI PGDM (GM), formerly known as GMP, is an eighteen-month full-time residential management program offered by XLRI. This transformative program is designed for professionals with at least three years of expertise in industries such as IT/ITeS, Energy/Power, Automobile, and Manufacturing.
The program transforms incoming students into corporate warriors with a human touch, combining cutting-edge management theory with practical application and ethical leadership principles.

Work Experience Requirement 36 Months
The work experience requirement for the PGDM (GM/18 Months) program has been revised from 60 months to 36 months. This change is effective immediately, making the program more accessible to mid-career professionals. This significant reduction opens doors for professionals earlier in their careers to benefit from XLRI's world-class management education.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a recognized bachelor's degree of at least three years in any discipline.
Work Experience
A minimum of three years of managerial or supervisory experience by March 31, 2026, is required.

Applicants may submit scores from one of the following tests:
GMAT or GRE scores taken between December 1, 2022, and December 31, 2025
XAT 2026 scores (exam scheduled for January 4, 2026; separate registration required)
