GMP+ Academy mission The mission of the GMP+ Academy is to enable professionals in the feed chain to contribute to feed safety worldwide by facilitating, sharing and securing knowledge. GMP+ Registered Training Institutes & GMP+ Registered Trainers transfer the necessary knowledge to support companies and/or individuals in attaining a sufficient level of understanding on feed safety & responsibility management and the GMP+ Feed Certification scheme.

Challenges for companies in the feed chain The need to share knowledge To lower feed safety risks for companies in the feed chain, especially operating and / or sourcing internationally. They have the need to distribute knowledge about feed safety within their own organisation, towards their suppliers and in some cases to their customers.
Needs differ widely The need for actual knowledge, new insights and skills on Feed Safety Management differ widely between regions and sectors. Often, it’s difficult to acquire or maintain the right knowledge and skills to manage feed safety.
Resources In many regions, it is hard for companies in the feed chain to find reliable consultants and trainers, to gain the right knowledge on how to implement feed safety measures with certification schemes like of the GMP+ Feed Certification scheme.

The GMP+ Academy is here to support you Currently, many trainers have to spend a lot of time and money to gain up-to-date (experiential) knowledge about feed safety management. Underderstanding of feed safety management is differs, everywhere around the world. Development of training materials is also costly due to research. Part of the GMP+ Academy includes a web based marketplace facilitated by GMP+ International. This marketplace allows users to contribute to the GMP+ Academy mission by sharing content like learning materials and news.
