Finalists celebrated in style with friends and family at the South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa’s Showroom. The black-tie award ceremony honored Southern Nevada’s outstanding high school sports teams, athletes, coaches, moments and games of the 2018-19 school year. The gala was sponsored by the soon-to-be Las Vegas Raiders, Vegas Golden Knights Foundation, Las Vegas Aviators, Las Vegas Aces, Metro by T-Mobile, Rising Star and Findlay Toyota, and hosted by Las Vegas Sun Managing Editor, Ray Brewer.

Not able to attend in person, the ceremony kicked off with a video introduction from Raiders Coach Jon Gruden. Other highlights of the evening included Moment of the Year which was awarded to Richard Curry, Bonanza’s special needs football manager who suited up for the final game and scored a touchdown in a coordinated moment with opposing team Faith Lutheran.
