Event Overview. LAS VEGAS – VEGAS INC and Title Sponsor Cox Business highlighted Southern Nevada’s greatest technical achievements at its seventh annual Top Tech Exec Awards at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, Nov. 16. On arrival and throughout the event, guests enjoyed complimentary drinks, appetizers and desserts catered by Four Seasons Las Vegas. Award winners were announced and honored by the evening’s emcee and Greenspun Media Group publisher, Gordon Prouty. Prouty was joined on stage throughout the evening by Cox Communications’ Director of Business Sales, Tonya Ruby, and Regional Vice President of Sales, Larry Coval. Many of the honorees, who found out they were chosen as 2017 winners along with the rest of the room, delivered speeches thanking a number of those who have contributed to their unique successes along their respective paths. Honorees were also featured in the Sunday, Nov. 19 issue of The Sunday and Monday, Nov. 20 issue of VEGAS INC. Honorees were determined by an independent panel of judges, many of whom received a Top Tech Exec award in 2016. Selections were based on factors such as recent achievements, company and community impact, major projects and more.
