Long-running adults-only revue only gets better with age There’s never been a better time to be a fan of the long-running, adults-only show Fantasy: The Strip’s Sexiest Tease, an exploration of beauty in all its forms that includes dancing, acrobatics, comedy and lots of great music past and present. For starters, the show, which debuted in 1999 under the watchful eye of producer Anita Mann, is a perfect tribute to the city’s storied history—specifically the showgirl, which Mann lobbied to have the

state recognize with National Showgirl Day every May 24. Every Fantasy: The Strip’s Sexiest Tease show is a celebration of what makes Las Vegas the Entertainment Capital of the World, and a connection to a key part of the city’s legacy. Then there’s the ever-evolving nature of the show itself. Numbers are always being added, including a recent fire-eating and dancing number, and a new song, “Fantasy Come True,” which opens every

Hey, DJ! New Las Vegas lounge brings back the art of spinning records
It’s safe to say what’s old is new again. Nostalgia is on a high lately, and one of the biggest trends making a comeback is the art of spinning vinyl. Yup, putting the needle on the record is back and we’re loving it! One such place celebrating this is the new Vinyl Room. The 63rd floor hot spot (in what was formerly Foundation Room) just oozes cool, chill vibes and has such a slick, sexy design that spending hours here is no problem. The DNA of Vinyl Room, though, is music—this spot is built around it, from the decor and cocktails to entertainment. “Vinyl Room brings music, food and nightlife together in a way that’s unique to Las Vegas,” said Kurt Melien, president of Live Nation Las Vegas. “Inspired by Japanese hi-fi listening lounges, it’s a place where music is meant to be enjoyed, not just heard. We created a destination where guests can have a great meal and appreciate incredible music and spend the evening with friends in a space designed by people who live and breathe music.” Three rooms make up this space (all with turntable setups and their own bar): the main lounging room; the room built to enjoy a meal while lounging; and a special members-only lounge. And we can’t forget about the spacious patio with views of the Strip that blows minds. “There’s no shortage of lounges on the Strip, but none of them have a view like ours, from the rooftop of Mandalay Bay,” Melien said.

Sumptuous plates, built around Asian-inspired flavors, include poke nachos, pork belly bao, chili crunch chicken wings and sushi rolls. “Our drinks (are) inspired by songs that sound good on vinyl like House of the Rising Sun or Smoke on the Water. Order the Audiophile Flask for a cool tableside presentation,” Melien said. The specialty cocktails were created by master mixologist Sean Kenyon, who donned a pair of headphones, put on
some records and was inspired to create recipes that celebrate the sounds of music on vinyl. The Audiophile comes in a souvenir flask (for purchase) and is a mix of Nikka Coffey Malt Whisky, sweet vermouth and PX sherry. “It’s a very spirit-forward, silky, luxurious, Manhattan-style cocktail,” said bartender Danny Torres. The Smoke on the Water is a mix of LALO tequila, Del Maguey Vida mezcal, mango, lime, habanero and cloud of smoke. “A little heat, a little sweet and a little smoky; we torch

Christian Joseph Table games dealer is making all the right moves
This month, Christian Joseph celebrates his one-year anniversary as a table games dealer at Circa Resort & Casino. “Engaging with the players—it makes your day,” he says. “When you have really good players, you have a good day. I love when the table is packed and people are having fun. But I also like when it’s one on one. And game days here—the environment is electric and awesome.” You can engage with Joseph mainly at the blackjack and roulette tables (he’s also beefing up his skills on Texas Hold ’em and three-card poker). Three years ago, he moved to Las Vegas to start a new life with his girlfriend and wanted to start a new career path after spending time in retail. So, he enrolled in a program for casino dealers, got certified and got his gaming license and started at Circa’s sister property, The D. “I picked up the games real fast, less than a month,” Joseph says. “Then you audition. You’re always nervous, though, no matter how good you are.” After showing his skills at blackjack, he was hired; and with a huge willingness to learn, he was taught how to deal roulette, too. A huge reason Joseph chose the profession is to get good at his social skills. “I wouldn’t say that I was terrible before; I just wanted to get comfortable talking to people,” he says. “My social skills have improved a ton. I was so shy growing up—this has brought me out of my shell.” And now, Joseph is loving his new career. “Working at Circa is fantastic so far.” He’s also loving his new hometown. “In Vegas, the nightlife

Not only is he sharpening his dealer skills, but he’s also a huge gamer, specifically with Pokémon GO. He’s traveled around the country playing it in addition to spending many years playing Fortnite, Minecraft and Rocket League. He’s even started his own vending machine business here in town, selling Pokémon GO cards. “I have huge goals in life and ambition,” Joseph says. “I want to be a successful business owner. What Circa has helped me do is lay a foundation for myself. ... Circa is a step in the right direction for me. If they give me opportunities to move forward, then I’ll take it.” -Kiko Miyasato

Vanderpump à Paris channels the sophistication of the city “It’s so very French.” Walking into Lisa Vanderpump’s take on a sexy French bar may leave you uttering those very words. From the long bar to the multiple rooms, the Parisian courtyard design creates a magical space, filled with candlelight,

plush velvet banquettes, wrought-iron chandeliers, enormous rotating flower pomades, chaise lounges and a grand piano. Perched along the bar top are lamps in the shape of umbrellas. It’s a little hard to explain, but so sweet for the eyes.
“Opening Vanderpump à Paris has been a labor of love,” said Vanderpump on the day of the grand opening of the restaurant four years ago. “After living in France for so long, I am so happy to bring something to Paris Las Vegas that feels so decadent and authentic. We’ve been able to bring Paris to life within an iconic Vegas resort, and you’ll immediately feel transported to the

sexiest bar in France.” As intriguing as the decor is, a collaboration between Vanderpump and designer Nick Alain, there are some must-try items if you’re here for dinner; and if you’re just here for drinks, you might be surprised how easily that morphs into dinner. Order the Louvre at First Sight to create some drama at your table. The striking cocktail is delivered to your

Artists from all genres come together for the iHeartRadio Music Festival By Kiko Miyasato This year marks the 16th year iHeartRadio Music Festival takes over a September weekend in Las Vegas. The concert juggernaut is celebrated for its ability to bring artists from all genres together for two days of music and memorable performances. It’s also known for some of the most memorable concert collaborations over the years, including Lady Gaga and Sting and Gwen Stefani and Pink. This year’s concert roster is filled with some of the biggest artists in the world, so let’s look at some fun facts about the headliners taking over T-Mobile Arena Sept. 18-19!
“Dynamite” is the group’s first song to be recorded entirely in English and its first No. 1 single in the U.S. On Spotify, it became the biggest opening day for a song in 2020, with nearly 8 million streams. The group went on hiatus in 2022 to complete South Korea’s mandatory military service. The group made its highly anticipated comeback with its 10th studio album, ARIRANG, released earlier this year, followed by a live comeback performance in Seoul and global tour. Chesney is the first country music star to play a residency show at Vegas’ Sphere. The star was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2025; has won CMA’s Entertainer of the Year four times; and ACM’s Entertainer of the Year four consecutive times. This month, Chesney releases his 21st full-length album, Silver Sands Marina. To celebrate the rerelease of his 1994 single“The Tin Man,” Chesney planned to shoot a video for the song on Sept. 11, 2001, at the World Trade Center, but because of production issues, it was canceled.
In 2022, the Swedish musical artist formed her own label, Sommer House, and bought back the master recordings of all her music. When she was just 10 years old, Larsson released her debut single, a cover of Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On.” Her 2025 hit song “Midnight Sun” garnered Larsson her first nomination at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards. Her 2015 hit song “Lush Life” is often considered her signature solo song and went three times platinum in the U.S. and is one of the highest certified songs in Swedish music history, racking up more than 2.5 billion streams.
The band comes back to Vegas on Oct. 23 to celebrate its 30-year career with a special performance at T-Mobile Arena in support of its North American Tour, The Gathering. The band’s first gig was opening for Keanu Reeves’ band at a club in L.A. In 2017, after a fan Twitter campaign to cover Toto’s “Africa,” the band released the cover the next year and it became its first No. 1 on Billboard’s Rock Airplay chart and reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart.

Barry Manilow reigns supreme as one of the city’s best performers

There is truly a vibe of celebration surrounding Westgate Las Vegas right now. The International Theater is still buzzing from the return of legendary performer Barry Manilow to his record-breaking residency in July, where fans filled every single seat and then proceeded to barely use them, standing for almost the entire run of shows to show their love and appreciation for the man who returned from a lung cancer scare for the first time in 2026. It’s difficult to say whom the July 9-11 return meant more to: The fans or Manilow, clearly emotional about his return to a property that gave him a lifetime contract. (That’s right:

There’s never been a better time to be a sports fan in Las Vegas than right now. We are home to some of the most storied (and exciting) franchises. Get your team jerseys on, get your tickets and enjoy!
There’s just no sugar-coating it: Last season was an incredibly rough one for the Silver and Black, going 3-14. But this season offers plenty of reasons for hope in a resurgence: the hiring of coach Klint Kubiak, the previous offensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks, who won Super Bowl LX; drafting quarterback Fernando Mendoza, the Heisman Trophy winner who took the Indiana Hoosiers all the way to a national championship; and the promotion of Rod Leonard to defensive coordinator. This month’s home opener on Sept. 13 against the Miami Dolphins is a chance for the Raiders to start the season out right. Come cheer them on.

Aaron Berger has made The Neon Museum ‘the museum of Las Vegas’ By GENEVIE DURANO The sign that changed Aaron Berger’s life was the Moulin Rouge. He was interviewing for the top job at The Neon Museum, being guided through the collection, still deciding if Las Vegas was the right move, when the guide stopped and started talking about the Civil Rights Movement out west. Berger had come from Atlanta, a city steeped in civil rights history, and had never once thought about it here. Moulin Rouge was the first integrated casino in Las Vegas, a 1955 sensation that made the cover of Life magazine and closed within months. “When I heard that story, I realized this is a museum that is incredibly rich with its storytelling,” Berger, now the executive director and CEO of The Neon Museum, tells Las Vegas Magazine. Five years in, Berger has turned a beloved photo op into something far more ambitious. The museum is still best known for the Boneyard, the outdoor lot where the Strip’s discarded neon go to be saved, but it’s become far more than a place to photograph old signs. More than 200,000 people come through the doors a year, but there are also K–12 field trips, a summer camp and writing workshops for older adults. In 2024, the board adopted a new mission that reframes everything. “We are not the history museum of Las Vegas. We are not the sign museum of Las Vegas. We’re the museum of Las Vegas,” Berger says.

If the city is the subject, its people are the real collection. Through Vegas Voices, Berger sits down with anyone who has a story about this town—not just the folks with statues of themselves, but lifelong visitors, each adding another thread to the story of Las Vegas. That instinct—that everyone belongs in the telling—is the museum’s core value, and it shows up in the details. Meeting one-on-one with staffers early on, Berger heard from two who wished the museum offered bilingual tours. When he asked why it didn’t, no one had a real answer; it simply hadn’t been done. So they created one. A framed news story about it, featuring two of the bilingual staffers, now hangs in his office as a reminder to listen. “I want our visitors to see themselves when they go through the museum,” he says. Through Museums for All, anyone with a SNAP or EBT card gets in for $3; 7,000 people have this year. Title I schools get in free, and the museum will pay for the bus, the driver and the gas. Then there’s Duck Duck Shed, the culture festival Berger calls his baby, the only museum-run conference in the country devoted to digging into a single city. Last year, it drew more than 5,000 people from four countries and 30 states, for sessions on everything from the history of magic to casino carpeting. This October’s edition opens with Steve Wynn on Oct. 22 and packs 37 programs into four days. The next chapter is bigger still: a future relocation and expansion, since only 35% of the collection is currently on view. Las Vegas is the implosion capital of the world, Berger says, and he sees himself as one of its preservationists. He’s out to prove that history doesn’t just survive here. It thrives, and it keeps on glowing.
