It’s Culinary Heaven on Earth

Gordon Ramsay’s first Las Vegas restaurant continues its reign as a must-visit destination

If you asked chef Gordon Ramsay what is one dish he’d eat before shuffling off this mortal coil, he’d choose beef Wellington. “Beef Wellington has to be the ultimate indulgence, it’s one of my alltime favorite main courses and it would definitely be on my last supper menu,” Ramsay says on his website.

That’s some big energy for a dish, and you can indulge in its glory for yourself at Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen , the celebrity chef’s first Las Vegas restaurant (he now has six total across the Strip). The design of the fine-dining restaurant, opened in 2018 and still going strong, is mirrored after his hit Fox TV show Hell’s Kitchen, with blue and red kitchens serving as the focal point. With floor-to-ceiling windows and a luxurious bar area, the restaurant has long been booked out for weeks since opening its doors—a testament to the popularity of the British chef’s culinary mastery.

You’ll find the famous beef Wellington dish on the menu, a musttry if you’ve never had it before. The cut of beef, pictured, is cooked medium rare, wrapped in puff pastry with a layer of mushroom duxelles (a French technique that turns the chopped mushrooms into a rich paste with shallots and herbs mixed in) and plated with a divinely smooth and creamy potato purée and glazed root vegetables with a red wine demi-glace topping. Signature dishes continue with Ramsay’s famous dessert, sticky toffee pudding, a memorable dish made with a sweet cake topped with toffee sauce and a scoop of rich brown butter gelato. One bite and you’ll be hooked!

Venture around the rest of the menu to try other delicious creations like the jidori chicken, roasted branzino, braised short ribs, oven-roasted octopus and the simple yet mouthwatering endive, pear and apple salad with a piquant white balsamic vinaigrette. Special note: Hell’s Kitchen is vegan-friendly, so ask your server for options.

You’ll find specialty, handcrafted cocktails aplenty here, but try a day one sip, the Notes From Gordon, a mix of No. 3 London dry gin, green tea, lemongrass, peach, lemon and a little cheeky message from Ramsay written on a piece of paper attached to the cocktail. –Kiko Miyasato

T-Mobile Arena is sure to be absolutely rocking from April 17-20, as WWE, which brings WrestleMania 42 Week to Las Vegas, has scheduled two action-packed events at the venue, sure to be filled to the brim with wrestling fans from all over the world.

Coastal Flavors

Longtime favorite Italian restaurant excels in ambience, service, cocktails, cuisine and so much more

Get ready for an unforgettable experience the moment you enter Fresco Italiano. This longtime favorite of locals and tourists alike sets a wonderful tone with brick accents, hardwood floors and towering arches, all overseen by a huge, antique espresso machine. It’s the perfect setting for the comfort foods to come.

You’ll want to start with a cocktail, and Fresco Italiano has plenty of signature libations to get your taste buds primed and ready. We recommend two in particular: The Milan, a white peach Bellini made with Ketel One Botanicals peach orange vodka, white peach and prosecco, all topped with vanilla gelato(!); and the Palermo, a spicy Sicilian margarita made with Patron silver tequila, blood orange, sparkling grapefruit, firewater and Sicilian sea salt.

Now down to business! Appetizers don’t get much more satisfying than the meatballs, a blend of slow-braised beef, pork and veal, all smothered with basil ricotta, Grana Padano and marinara, and the calamari, served with hot peppers, lemon crema, marinara and mint. You’ll definitely also want to try the margherita pizza, an all-time classic with tomato sauce, roasted tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and basil.

Main courses abound, and you may have a seriously difficult time deciding. Definite highlights include the chicken marsala, so flavorful with roasted mushrooms, cipollini onions, florio marsala and butter whipped potatoes; lasagna al forno (a best-selling menu item) made with pork and beef Bolognese, ricotta, mozzarella and basil; and scaloppine de vitello, veal loin with capers, lemon, parsley and spaghetti.

How about some pasta? We can’t recommend highly enough the linguine and clams with littleneck clams, garlic, chili, lemon and parsley, or the spicy penne alla vodka, a dish you will not want to share with its combo of Italian sausage, Calabrian chili, basil and Pecorino Romano.

And if you really can’t decide, play it safe and go with the Chef’s Selection, a menu with three courses of: your choice of an Italian chopped Caesars salad or zuppa Toscana; your choice of chicken fettucine Alfredo, chicken Parmesan, rigatoni Bolognese or grilled salmon; and your choice of Biscoff butter cheesecake (this is my particular favorite) or tiramisu. –Ken Miller

Irish pub ups its game with redesign and updated menu

One of the most authentic Irish pubs in Las Vegas, Nine Fine Irishmen at New York-New York, has enhanced the experience with some recent renovations. The update by DEZMOTIF Studios expands the pub’s patio area onto the Brooklyn Bridge Plaza and updates its furnishings and lighting. And if you haven’t been by in a while, you’ll be pleased to find a refreshed menu of bites and libations.

New regular menu items include Jameson-glazed shrimp served with couscous and broccolini; basil-crust-

ed rack of lamb, topped with lamb jus and served with broccolini, carrots and roasted potatoes; and pan-fried pork chop, accompanied by homemade harissa, carrots, broccolini and seasoned mushrooms. For dessert, choose from a black-and-tan cake, drizzled with cream cheese frosting and served with chocolate gelato, and Jameson apple pie, topped (of course!) with vanilla ice cream and a Jameson toffee swirl.

In the Moment

Legendary comedian brings observational brilliance to the Strip

Jerry Seinfeld ’s impact on comedy is practically immeasurable. Ever since his television debut on The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson in 1981, he’s been pumping out classic material, writing books, creating immortal television shows, producing popular content for Netflix and becoming one of the longest-running headliners in the history of Las Vegas. (In September 2024, he performed his 100th show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.)

And the hardest-working man in comedy shows no signs of slowing down at age 71, adding a series of Las Vegas date for 2026, including this week. Anyone who has seen a recent performance can tell you: This man has lost none of the focus and energy that made him a superstar. He’s constantly looking at the world around him, finding material in places we take completely for granted.

The small moments in Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee tell you all you need to know regarding his attention to detail. Whether it’s musing about the perfect blend of candy and mint in Tic Tacs, commenting on Howard Stern’s hair and glasses (“You’re like a hip Wicked Witch of the West”), or discovering how funny the word “bonhomie” can be in the right circumstance (he almost made Norm Macdonald do a spit take), Seinfeld misses no opportunity for observation. His in-the-moment presence demands that you see him live. Take full advantage this week. –Ken Miller

A New Way to Nightlife

Skip the club and find a different kind of fun at this new Stripside hot spot

Cool cocktails, cool views and cool vibes make Bottled Blonde Las Vegas the new exciting hot spot for visitors looking for a good time. Situated right along Las Vegas Boulevard and anchored by the Grand Bazaar Shops, this multilevel venue is a welcoming environment for people looking for that nightlife alternative.

Cool vibes. During the day Bottled Blonde Las Vegas welcomes families to enjoy the food and atmosphere, but after 5 p.m. it turns into a 21-and-over nightlife experience. “Bottled Blonde is a hybrid venue that is built around fun—food, beverage and entertainment,” said Bryan Bass, chief marketing officer. “We like to say from lunch to late night. As the sun goes down and the neon turns on, it gets more of a high-energy bar environment—something that is more approachable and casual than the typical Vegas nightclub but still all based around a fun experience.” Live music plays on the ground floor and rooftop, and the later it gets, the music switches over to live DJs on both floors playing top 40 and mashups, and some tables and chairs get cleared to create a dancefloor. “Sports is a big thing here, too,” Bass said. “There’s all this energy around sports—people cheering, having a good time, having food and drinks.” With more than 40 HDTVs and a 38-

foot LED wall, every single angle and seat makes for a great spot to cheer on your team.

Cool views. It’s hard to beat Bottled Blonde Las Vegas’ rooftop when it comes to views of the Strip combined with a large indoor-outdoor environment. “The energy feels really good

on the rooftop—and there’s the great patio with an amazing view,” Bass said. Those views not only include up and down the Strip, but a fantastic shot of the fountains show at Bellagio. If you’re looking for that elevated nightlife experience but want to skip the typical nightclub, this is the spot—you’ll still

get to party, dance and drink, all with a beautiful backdrop, seating both inside and outside, and you don’t have to pay a cover. “Fun and approachable nightlife,” Bass said. … “We’re somewhere you can go and have fun and we don’t take ourselves too seriously. But that view, the view you can’t beat.”

Cool cocktails. Two large 360-degree bars (one on the ground floor, one on the rooftop) are where the bartenders are whipping up tasty cocktails. The list is long and there are many good

options. Some of the favorites include the PB&J Old-Fashioned with Jameson, Screwball peanut butter whiskey, cherry syrup and orange bitters, the spicy coconut margarita with tequila, coconut, jalapeño, lime, pineapple and agave and the Mana mule with Terem-

ana reposado, lime, ginger beer and an agave drizzle. But over-the-top fun lies in the large-format cocktails, a definite must if you’re with a group of peeps. Go for the Strawberry Pump, made with Tito’s vodka, strawberry syrup, lemon juice and lemonade, served in a vessel shaped like a gas pump where you pour the cocktail through the little gas pump. The Capri Sin is a throwback to the childhood favorite drink Capri Sun, but this behemoth is an adult version with its blend of Casamigos blanco tequila, Aperol, lemonade, prickly pear syrup and lemon juice, served in that classic plastic pouch with a straw.

“We also offer a great craft beer program,” Bass said. “With local beers, too, like Able Baker and HUDL Brewing Company, who brewed the exclusive Bottled Blonde Ale just for us. General manager succeeds in a career and city he loves

It was the movie For Love or Money starring Michael J. Fox that inspired Eli Micaiah to move to Las Vegas more than 20 years ago. “I wanted to be that guy,” he says. “Have those connections, be able to make things happen.” While the movie featured the hospitality world in New York, it was in Vegas that Micaiah made his mark. He helped open the iconic Tao restaurant and nightclub at The Venetian Resort and served as the general manager of Tao Beach; then consulted in the food and beverage industry in Vegas

and other cities. For the past three years, Micaiah has been back on the Strip as the general manager for Happy Camper and neighboring restaurant El Segundo Sol, both at FSLV—Fashion Show Las Vegas.

“I walk into a different environment every second of every day—it’s fun,” he says. “I float back and forth between the two spots. El Segundo Sol has those Tulum vibes with house-made Mexican food, and Happy Camper is a sports barish, just a great time-type place; you walk in here and can’t help but smile.”

Giada offers a relaxing brunch to start the day

I frequently wax poetic about how great Vegas’ brunches are, and one of my longtime favorites is Giada at The Cromwell.

The first Vegas restaurant for food star Giada de Laurentiis (she’s a four-time Emmy winner) is a gorgeous space that channels a laid-back California vibe. De Laurentiis is the granddaughter of renowned movie director Dino de Laurentiis, and around the space are movie posters highlighting his classic films.

The dining area is wrapped by a gorgeous bar and on two sides by floorto-ceiling, two-story windows, providing excellent views of the busy Strip. In

the morning and early afternoon, light streams in and provides a very cheery ambiance, complementing the casual, patio feel of the window-side tables.

Start off with a good cup of coffee and a specialty cocktail like the Bellissimo, with Bacardi, Aperol, muddled strawberries and basil, or Giada’s sangria, available with both La Marca prosecco or brachetto d’acqui, a red wine, and mint syrup, lemon, lime and strawberry. There are several selections of sparkling rosé to choose from, and customizable options.

pastries and small bites, and the Giada’s Favorites tower channels the feel of a tea party, with rosemary-Parmesan scones, caprese crostini and mini baked frittatas occupying each level of the tower. You can also get those frittatas alone as your

main dish, with tomato, fontina cheese, scamorza (a mozzarella-like cheese) and lemon-thyme ricotta.

For cinnamon roll fans (and I am one), the cinnamon roll focaccia is a must. Not only do you get the cinnamon roll, but you get gooey salted caramel and cream cheese icing. A longtime favorite here is the polenta waffle, so good with sunny-side up eggs.

There are plenty of more traditional offerings as well, such as the filleto and eggs, the Italian version of steak and eggs, here with two eggs, lemon-smashed potatoes and the traditional Italian condiment, salmoriglio.

For avocado lovers, there are two dishes to try: avocado toast, served with poached eggs, roasted tomato, mashed avocado and Calabrian chili for a little kick; and the avocado Benedict, with piquillo peppers, spinach, prosecco hollandaise and toasted focaccia. Add lobster or prosciutto if desired.

Handhelds are great for brunch, and you can try two. The chicken caprese panini layers mozzarella, tomatoes, basil, arugula and chicken breast Milanese, accented with balsamic aioli. And Giada’s burger features a blended beef patty, avocado basil cream and provolone cheese, plus bacon or egg if you like.

This being an Italian brunch, of course there is pasta, such as cavatelli with basil pesto, asparagus, baby tomatoes and Parmigiano-Reggiano. And there is risotto—Giada’s breakfast risotto combines that creamy dish with sunny-side up eggs, applewood smoked bacon and sugar snap peas.

For dessert, you can’t go wrong with a scoop or two of sorbetti—bright, fresh flavors shine here, like apricot and blackberry, and strawberry limoncello. And if you’ve had Giada’s favorite cookies, you know the lemon ricotta are the best, although chocolate chunk is not far behind.

Engelbert Humperdinck is back to spread the love in Las

At 89, Engelbert Humperdinck is doing what he’s always done: touring the world. The King of Romance recently chatted with Las Vegas Magazine about performing in Vegas, the TV moment that reached 220 million new fans and the promise to his late wife he keeps every night onstage. With a new single due on his 90th birthday, one thing is clear: The Last Waltz, which this tour is dubbed, is anything but.

You’re playing here April 17-18, just two weeks before your 90th birthday. What does that milestone feel like?

I don’t feel my age. I tried slowing down— my manager suggested it—and I was home for three months climbing the walls. I called him up and said there’s no way this is going to be my last waltz. As long as I’m singing good, I’ll keep going. And honestly, my voice has never sounded better. My vibrato has sort of disappeared and become more of a commercial sound, which I’m very proud of.

Vegas

The Westgate Las Vegas is the stage where Elvis held his legendary residency. You two were friends—do you have a favorite memory of him?

I always wanted to meet him, and when I finally went backstage, it was mind-blowing. Then he came to my show, and that was really an occasion. When I introduced him, it took me 10 minutes to quiet the audience down. I said, “Elvis, this is my show.” We had such fun.

Moon Knight, The Umbrella Academy, Bullet Train—a whole new generation has discovered your music. What has that been like?

Can I just tell you what Moon Knight did? It reached 220 million strangers. And now the younger generation who watched that show is coming to find out what an Engelbert is all about. It’s quite fun, actually. Mind you, I’ve always had young audiences—you name the age, they’re there.

You’ve also built a real community online through your Tuesday Museday series. What’s surprised you most about connecting with fans this way?

I read every comment and genuinely learn from them—what to keep in the show, what to leave out. The fans who respond to my Tuesday Museday are just amazing.

You’ve spoken so movingly about your wife, Patricia. When you perform “Everywhere I Go” for her, what does that feel like?

I promised her when she passed that I would keep her in every show, because I know she’s watching over me. I wrote that song for her about 30 years ago and never realized how poignant the lyrics would be at this point in my life. Some nights I can’t even finish it. But I promised.

What can fans expect from you beyond these shows?

I have a single coming out on my birthday—I worked with the same producer I did on “After the Lovin’,” and I think this one might have that same quality. There’s also an album coming on Cleopatra Records in July. Hopefully, it puts me back in harts.

At the end of a show, what do you want audiences to walk away feeling?

Satisfied. My job is to take them away from whatever they experienced that day and carry them into another world.

Jabbawockeez lights up the stage in new show FREQNCY

Have you ever heard someone say, “We’re all operating on the same frequency?” While some might think this is hippiedippy talk, there is some substantial science behind it. Some believe that

humans around the world are connected through mental, emotional and physical ties. While one could go down a rabbit hole figuring out the equations of why this happens, Jabbawockeez presents

those connections through dance and music, exploring those ties with its newest show, FREQNCY, at MGM Grand. But don’t get it twisted; the show isn’t a brainteaser and you don’t have to think too hard—it’s meant to be fun and funny while being emotional and awe-inspiring, rolled up with all the amazing and innovative dance moves the troupe is famous for.

Jabbawockeez, established in 2003 and winners of the first season of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew, proved that its style of dance and theatrics could draw crowds. It became the first act of its kind to headline a Las Vegas venue in 2010; landed a residency show in 2012; followed with several iterations through the years; and introduced FREQNCY late last year.

The Jabbawockeez crew have also become famous for not showing their faces, donning signature white masks in every show including FREQNCY. “The plain white masks worn by the Jabbawockeez hold significant importance as they symbolize anonymity, unity and artistic expression within the realm of hip-hop dance,” Joe Larot, Jabbawockeez co-founder and co-CEO, told Las Vegas Magazine. “These masks have become iconic in our performances, serving as a visual representation of our collective identity and unique style. Through our skilled choreography and captivating routines, we have elevated the plain

white mask to a symbol of artistry and creativity in the world of dance entertainment.” Throughout the show, costumes change but the masks stay on, giving more emphasis to the group’s synchronicity and performance as one unified group.

The running theme through FREQNCY is how humanity connects with one another, how we all operate on the same plane of love, wonder and unity—but it’s also a show of entertainment, an exciting journey through styles, decades and genres of dance and music; and it wouldn’t be a Jabbawockeez show without comedy and innovative technology thrown in.

The changing sets play with visually stunning technology while amazing breakdancing moves, overthe-top routines, acrobatics and tumbling, all set to hip-hop, rock, R&B, EDM

and pop, are the focal point.

The choreography is a blend of signature Jabbawockeez moves and innovative and unique styles of dance.

“Our choreography is like a gourmet dish of dance

moves, carefully crafted with intricate footwork, synchronized movements, and a sprinkle of theatrical flair that leaves audiences craving more,” Larot said.

Audience participation, be it onstage or hoots and hollers from your seat, is encouraged, too. While the show provides plenty of feels and deeper meaning, it also has a frequency that’s dialed into those party vibes.

Nope, there’s no pleasant dreams inside Universal Horror Unleashed at AREA15, the city’s newest immersive attraction that will turn your hair white and your bones cold. Four year-round haunted houses inspired by Universal’s cinematic horrors comes to life: Universal Monsters, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Scarecrow: the Reaping and The Exorcist: Believer. But the frights don’t freeze there. From the moment you step inside the warehouse, there are spooky sights and sounds at every turn. Amid all the horrifying (and darn fun!) houses and interactive areas, 21-and-over guests can gain some liquid courage by visiting UHU’s three distinct watering holes: Jack’s Alley, The Boiler Bar and Premiere House. Feel like a true high roller at Westgate Las Vegas

It’s pink. It’s posh. It’s Playboy. It’s totally cute and sweet. The Lucky Bunny Suite at Westgate Las Vegas is part of the property’s themed fantasy suites, but this one stands out for its star power, too. It was curated in collaboration with Playboy Playmate, actress and model Sandi Taylor (pictured).
