Order It All

This Chinese restaurant delivers a multitude of flavors

If you are seeking authentic Chinese food, then sitting down in Genting Palace will fulfill that objective. The upscale Resorts World Las Vegas restaurant features a plethora of dishes in a very luxe environment.

Genting Palace has a cultured tea selection with dark teas, green teas, white teas and oolong teas for a great accompaniment to the meal. Once that’s ordered, grab an appetizer like the chilled chicken salad with black truffle sauce or one of the restaurant’s soups, including Sichuan seafood hot and sour soup with scallops, shrimp and mushrooms. And all the entries on the menu are denoted with a little chili next to it if it is spicy. Wonton soup is rich with mushroom, shrimp and pork, while the braised bird’s nest soup features Alaska crab and Chinese ham.

For seafood lovers, live lobster and king crab can be either steamed with garlic or wok-baked with butter. Roasted Chilean sea bass, wok-fried scallop with XO sauce, and walnut prawns with purple cabbage, dragon fruit and strawberries are just a few of the options.

For main dishes, check out the applewood smoked soy sauce chicken or the barbecued boneless duckling with fresh

mango and lemon sauce. Spicy kung pao chicken, wok-fried Sichuan beef and wok-fried A5 Japanese wagyu beef tenderloin with a signature black pepper sauce joins traditional Peking duck.

The signature truffle crab meat fried rice promises a luscious bite, while yang chow fried rice ups the heat level with a homemade XO sauce plus shrimp and barbecue pork. If you want noodles, the Singapore-style fried vermicelli mixes curry powder, egg, pork and shrimp.

You’ll find vegan and vegetarian dishes intermixed with other menu items like the crispy vegan spring rolls, stuffed with mushrooms, carrot and cabbage and served with a sweet and sour sauce. Sichuan vegan mapo tofu features Impossible meat and mushrooms, as does the Sichuan eggplant and Impossible meat.

Dim sum offerings include several dishes like shrimp har gow and pork and shrimp siu mai—order the platter to get it all. If you think you have room, try the mango sago with sorbet, toasted coconut, a chocolate-coconut shell and tapioca pearls. –Nina King Resorts

Join the Party Once Again

Burlesque nightclub is back and better than

ever

In the early aughts, nightlife impresario Ivan Kane launched Ivan Kane’s Forty Deuce at Mandalay Bay, introducing Vegas visitors to a different type of nightclub experience—live music and burlesque. While the club landscape has changed over the years, with behemoth party palaces being built and multimillion-dollar DJ residencies, Kane takes it back to the old school by relaunching his club at the same property.

“The spirit is the same—immersive, sexy, theatrical—but the experience is bigger, more dynamic and more refined,” Kane said in a recent release. “The technology, the staging, the live music integration and the level of performance have all evolved. This is Forty Deuce reimagined for today’s audience, where every detail works together to create a true experience, not just a night out.”

The intimate space offers posh surroundings of animal prints, cushy seating, several stages for the dancers, live bands and DJs, bar area and high-tech lighting and LED screens that move to the music. The decor is meant to immerse partiers in a world that’s sexy and fun. As the evening unfolds, burlesque numbers will take over the whole space while live bands soundtrack each number. In between, guests can get their own groove on to live DJ sets. “Burlesque here isn’t about a single performance on a stage—it’s a full theatrical experience happening all around you,” Kane said. “The dancers are athletes and artists. The choreography, costumes, music and storytelling all work together. It’s immersive, it’s emotional and it’s designed to make you feel part of the show. …

“This isn’t a stand-around, wait-for-the-mic-drop kind of place. It’s live performance, cinematic visuals, human connection and raw energy—all fused into one. We don’t fit cleanly into a box, and we don’t want to. Forty Deuce must be experienced. Whether you come for the DJs, the dancefloor or the burlesque, what you leave with is the realization that you’ve just been part of something uniquely special.”

If you didn’t have the chance to party at Ivan Kane’s Forty Deuce the first time, now’s your chance to experience what made the nightclub such a smashing success. –Kiko Miyasato

Getting to Know Her

Superstar gives fans a spectacular evening on the Strip

If you are a Jennifer Lopez fan, then you need to see her in her Las Vegas residency, running through the end of March at the Colosseum. Jennifer Lopez: Up All Night Live debuted in December to critical acclaim, with one reviewer saying it was the “best thing she’s ever done.” Unlike traditional concerts, shows in Vegas have the opportunity to expand and let the performer stretch and show you more than you’ve seen of them before. That’s certainly the case here, with a Broadway-style design with four “acts,”

each showcasing a different stage in J. Lo’s career, highlighting her influences and hits. Throughout the evening, you’ll hear her own songs, like “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” “Let’s Get Loud,” “Jenny from the Block” and “Louboutins,” plus a ton of her inspirations, like “Let Me Entertain You,” “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Get Happy” and so many, many more. It all comes with the costuming and choreography that the star is known for, with tops and tails, flashy evening gowns and tiny corsets, plus energetic dance numbers.

For the December show, Ja Rule appeared and duetted with Lopez on “Ain’t It Funny” and “I’m Real.” Fans can hope that happens again!

Videos and voiceovers from Lopez give you a real glimpse into her life and evolution, and the feeling that you’re getting to know the real girl. –Nina King

Lose Yourself

Immersive experience takes you through dreamlike worlds

Reality has boundaries. Infinity Museum doesn’t. This immersive museum gives you the sensation of existing outside the laws of physics. If you’re familiar with Yayoi Kusama, the legendary Japanese artist who has spent decades exploring infinity through mirrors, then you’ll recognize the DNA here. After slipping on the required booties to protect the reflective floors, you move through seven installations sequentially:

• Stargazing is a dreamlike room that simulates the vastness of the universe. With mirrors that create depth that doesn’t exist, the stars here feel endless, as if you’re swimming around in an infinite galaxy.

• Sphere Symphony constructs its infinity through perfectly placed spheres that seem to extend in every direction. There are loose spheres— giant balloons that magically change colors—on the ground that you can play with and bounce across the walls, creating a delightfully immersive playground that brings out the kid in all of us.

• The Mirrored Dodecahedron— the world’s first walk-in version of this complex 12-faced shape—is a jewel box of geometric wonder. Every angle offers a new composition, a

new way of seeing yourself fractured across infinite transformations.

• If you’ve been missing the fleeting northern lights that have made appearances across the U.S., just step into Aurora Reverie. This room surrounds you with waves of colors that dance like a celestial light show.

• In the Wormhole, set aside time to watch the show, which transports you across the universe’s past, present and future. This is as close as you’re going to get to experiencing one.

• My favorite is the Mirror Maze, which challenges your sense of perception. Inside this labyrinth of reflective surfaces, you’re given a pool noodle to poke the walls, figuring out which surfaces are mirrors and which are open space that you can walk through. It’s a geometric adventure unlike anything else you’ve ever experienced.

• End your tour in Four Seasons, the world’s largest walk-in kaleidoscope, which interprets spring, summer, fall and winter in all their mirrored glory. Walking through is trippy and disorienting in the best possible way. –Genevie Durano

The GOAT (Boy)

Comedian promises an evening of nonstop laughs

Being a huge fan of Saturday Night Live, it’s impossible to think of Jim Breuer and not remember Goat Boy, his inimitable character who spoke in a combination of brays amid his comic patter, and his Joe Pesci impersonation, in which he hosted a talk show that always ended with at least one character taking a baseball bat to the back of the head. Breuer wasn’t on the show long, but he left a lasting impression, and his post- SNL career has been an extension of that influence, from comedy tours to movies.

Movie lovers will surely remember him from such films as Half Baked (he would re-create his Brian character on such shows as Chappelle’s Show), Beer League and Zookeeper. And his TV work is equally impressive, from reprising his Pesci character on Family Guy to his Father Phillip character on Kevin Can Wait In between all this, he’s got a podcast, The Jim Breuer Podcast, and tours constantly, honing his routines to a sharp point.

His targets are ones that resonate with audiences of all stripes: marriage, parenting, relationships and much more. He’s also a heavy metal geek, so don’t be surprised to hear him sing like some of his favorite metal gods.

However you know Breuer, don’t pass up the opportunity to see one of the hardest-working comedians in the business. –Ken Miller

Liquid La La Land

Hidden lounge is a cocktail experience worth finding

Bellagio has a tasty secret, one you’ll want to seek out. On the casino floor, you’ll have to find the right pit of gaming tables—off to the side you’ll see an alcove with a gilded door and a small placard with a “V” on it. This is the entrance to The Vault , a world of cocktail ingenuity and experience—an intimate lounge that oozes chic decor, but the vibes are relaxed and welcoming.

“The Vault is this hidden oasis amongst the lively hustle of the casino floor,” says Craig Schoettler, executive director of beverage and corporate mixologist at MGM Resorts International.

“We like to think if it as our living room; you’re coming in to our house and we’re throwing a cocktail party for our friends. While the finishes (and) the glassware is very nice, we want to show our personality and everybody to enjoy the experience and provide a memorable experience that’s not snooty, that’s not stuffy.”

This year, The Vault welcomes some special friends to its house in the form of a guest series called Liquid Legends, a mix of notable bartenders, writers and historians who helped define the modern cocktail culture. Each series is a two-night event and welcomes a guest to share stories and knowledge, interact with visitors and create a special cocktail menu using The Vault’s vast inventory of spirits, some rare and vintage. This week (March 5-6)

welcomes Robert Simonson, author of multiple books on spirits and cocktail culture and longtime New York Times contributor.

“We want it to be fun, we don’t want it to be a seminar or class where you have to sit and take notes,” Schoettler says. “All the personalities that we have coming are very different and different styles. … You can try their own

creations on the menu for rest of the month. They’ll entertain, walk around, meet people and share knowledge of cocktails.”

If you can’t make it to one of the series, stop in anyway for the Vault’s regular menu with cocktail creations that you’ll be talking about long after your Vegas vacation ends—in other words, lasting memories.

“This would be the room that has vintage spirits—we call it ‘liquid history’,” Schoettler says. “For example, we have Bacardi from the 1930s that was made in the Bahamas, which Bacardi now is made in Puerto Rico, so now you’re tasting what it was like if you were around in the 1930s. We give you the modern and vintage side by side so you can taste the difference.”

The Passion’s Serenade is our favorite, a true experiential cocktail. It’s blended with a house-made toasted sesame-infused chocolate rum, passion fruit, vanilla, mint and coconut milk frozen to the side of the glass and

topped with a Fresno chili. Each sip, as the coconut milk melts and the chili seeps, is a new flavor—genius! “I call it an evolving cocktail, your first sip is different than your last sip,” Schoettler says.

For a little fun-and-cheeky-meetstop-shelf-flavors, order the Zeus. The spirit-forward cocktail is a blend of Yamazaki 12 Year Japanese whiskey, demerara, Amontillado sherry and Angostura bitters, served alongside A5 wagyu beef tartare with truffle aioli and bone marrow crumble stuffed into bone marrow. It’s a dog with its bone! It’s an Intagrammable moment and another experiential cocktail where you sip and bite, sip and bite to bring the flavors out in each creation.

“The Vault is very special—it’s an outlet where we can push the envelope a little further than we can in other venues,” Schoettler says. “… If you’re a cocktail enthusiast, this is the place I would recommend during your Vegas visit.” –Kiko Miyasato

Just call Guillermina Padilla “Mom” or “tia” (aunt)—her staff does. As the operations manager for Chayo Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar at The Linq Promenade, she loves welcoming guests into the restaurant and her home, and she loves making her staff feel heard and taken care of.

It’s a role the California native knows well, as her first career was stay-at-home mom. As her children got older, she went back to school to become a business accounting technician. Eight years ago, she

moved to Las Vegas and began working in accounting departments at various companies, but the food and beverage industry called to her. Padilla started at local restaurants, eventually moving to the Strip and into management roles, and joined Chayo seven months ago.

Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House is still stellar 31 years later
Scottish salmon

Now entering its 31st year on the Strip, Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House’s commitment to high-quality cuisine has never wavered. From seafood to steak, this remains one of the premier dining spots in town, with flavors that are truly reflective of its celebrity chef’s influences.

Beautiful amber hues punctuate the dining room, and the bar is an art piece all on its own. Once you make your way through the immaculately designed dining area, take your seat at either an extra-comfy booth or table and get ready with a signature cocktail. Highlights here include Emeril’s Strawberry Lemonade, a longtime favorite featuring vodka, straw-

berry purée, lemon and simple syrup, and Getting Figgy With It, made with black fig liqueur, coconut rum, maple syrup and a splash of orange juice.

Now that those taste buds are primed and ready, you’ll want to get your evening started off right with the New Orleans barbecue shrimp, practically a food group all of its own, with succulent pieces of the crustacean smothered with a decadent sauce that begs to be completely sopped up with the too-good rosemary biscuit. For another satisfying starter, order the Louisiana-style broiled oysters, smothered with Parmigiano-Reggiano and Creole herb butter.

Speaking of sublime seafood, you really shouldn’t pass up the Scottish salmon, served with sautéed local mushrooms and saffron soubise.

For a true Emeril classic, don’t miss the Carolina Gold jambalaya, made with jumbo gulf shrimp, andouille sausage and Carolina Gold rice. If meat is more your bag, there is a tremendous steak you can order off-menu: The Campfire Cedar Plank Steak. Your cut is cooked on a piece of cedar that’s been “treated” with Worcestershire sauce to impart a smoky flavor like no other. It’s topped with sautéed trinity (diced onions, bell peppers and celery) and a warm remoulade.

Best of luck choosing between the desserts available here. Every one is a stone-cold winner, from the chocolate mousse bar (in addition to the smoothness of the dulce de leche, chocolate cake and coconut cream sauce, you get a delightful crunch from white and dark chocolate pearls!) and homemade sorbet (topped with seasonal berries) to possibly the ultimate dessert on the Strip: Emeril’s banana cream pie. It’s not an exaggeration to say this dessert has been a big part of the restaurant’s reputation, and after you take a bite of the creation, served with chocolate shavings and caramel sauce, you will immediately understand why.

Insider tip: If you really want to be surprised, go for the Chef’s Table experience, where you will be given a tasting menu. This offering is constantly changing, so there’s no way to tell what will be placed in front of you. But trust us: Whatever it is, you’ll be smiling ear to ear.

311 brings 26 years of tradition back to Vegas

For a band that’s spent more than three decades defying easy categorization—is it rock reggae, funk, rap or

something else?—311 has mastered one thing with absolute certainty: 311 Day. On March 7-8, the annual celebration returns for its 12th Las Vegas iteration, but this time the band’s breaking the fourth wall. For the first time in 26 years of 311 Day events, the experience expands into a citywide celebration.

Think of it as a weekend-long immersion into the beloved band. Yes, there are two shows with two completely different setlists and zero repeated songs, a signature challenge that the band’s maintained throughout 311 Day’s history. But surrounding those performances is an ecosystem of expe-

riences: a museum pop-up showcasing decades of stage gear and artwork, VIP side-stage access that puts fans in the wings for select songs, and partnerships designed to thread the band’s presence throughout the city.

But first, let’s talk about the band’s history. Since 1992, when vocalist Doug “SA” Martinez joined with vocalist/ guitarist Nick Hexum, guitarist Tim

Mahoney, drummer Chad Sexton and bassist Aaron “P-Nut” Wills to complete the five-piece, 311’s lineup has remained unchanged, placing it alongside U2 and Radiohead in that rare echelon of bands that have resisted the personnel shuffle that typically splinter even the most successful groups. More than 10 million albums sold, countless tours and a fanbase devoted enough to sell out its recent cruise in 24 hours—the numbers tell the story, but they don’t capture the communal energy that defines 311 Day.

This year’s celebration arrives on the heels of Full Bloom, the band’s latest album that’s already generated its highest-charting alternative single in 13 years (“You’re Gonna Get It” peaked at No. 17) and surpassed 1 million streams. The record channels positivity and unity, themes that have always been threaded through 311’s work but feel particularly resonant now. It’s also fueled a massive global tour, proving that three decades in, the band’s creative momentum shows no signs of slowing.

The weekend’s wild card comes in the form of Blue Man Group, which will join 311 onstage for a one-time collaborative performance during select songs. Blue Man Group’s experimental percussion and visual artistry against 311’s genreblending energy? That’s the kind of pairing that only happens in Vegas.

311 Day is not a festival or a residency, exactly. It’s something built collaboratively between the band and fans over 26 years, now spreading across the city in the most magical way. Don’t miss it.

No matter the cut, Las Vegas has the steak you want —and the great steakhouse experience

There are few dining experiences that linger in your mind longer than a great steak dinner. Close your eyes and picture the one you’ve never forgotten: maybe it was the restaurant itself, where the vibe just made you hungry; maybe it was the service, making you feel relaxed and happy; maybe it was the appearance when your cut hit the table, cooked

to absolute perfection; maybe it was the way the knife glided through the meat effortlessly; or maybe it was that perfect combo of steak and sauce, whether it be peppercorn, bearnaise, bordelaise, chimichurri or horseradish—or heck, even A.1.!

Las Vegas has perfectly mastered this experience, and we present some of the absolute best on the

following pages. As with anything of absolute quality, palates differ. Some of you will never deviate from filet mignon, while others can’t get enough of the deep flavor of a ribeye. Whatever your preference, we hope you find it here. So read on, then make your reservations—and get ready for a new steak dinner memory you will never forget.

Three decades in, Nine Inch Nails is still defying expectations

Nine Inch Nails brings its Peel It Back Tour to the Las Vegas Strip this week, extending a run that’s already captivated more than 450,000 fans across Europe and North America. The tour earned Consequence’s

2025 Live Act of the Year honor, a recognition that speaks to both the production’s technical ambition and the band’s creative fire.

Founded in 1988 under Trent Reznor’s vision, the band has spent nearly four decades evolving from the visceral assault of “March of the Pigs” to the haunted restraint of later works. Its 2020 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction arrived not as a career capper but as an acknowledgment of its influence that’s still very much apparent. This tour isn’t about looking back—it’s

about what comes next.

Reznor and longtime collaborator Atticus Ross made their priorities unmistakably clear in a recent Consequence interview.

“We are working on new stuff and we’re excited to work on it… the fuse has been lit and the desire is there,” Reznor said, noting they’re now prioritizing new Nine Inch Nails material over other projects. It’s a notable shift for a duo whose film scores have earned them two Oscars—for The Social Network and Soul—and reshaped how cinematic music functions.

That renewed momentum stems directly from the band’s work on Tron: Ares, the first soundtrack released under the Nine Inch Nails name rather than credited to Reznor and Ross individually. The score dropped Sept. 19, proving itself more than film work: It’s a Nine Inch Nails album that happens to power a Disney movie. Lead single “As Alive as You Need Me to Be” has been woven into the tour all year.

The production unfolds across two stages, each serving a distinct purpose. The main stage, surrounded by translucent

along with new bassist Stu Brooks—has recharged the group’s chemistry. Together with Reznor and Ross, they’ve created something that feels both familiar and entirely new.

8 p.m. March 7, starting at $62 plus tax and fee. axs.com

scrims, is an immersive visual experience that matches the sonic intensity. But it’s the B-stage, planted mid-arena floor, where something more intimate occurs. Here, Reznor delivers acoustic renditions and rarities that contrast sharply with the sound happening elsewhere.

The current lineup features longtime guitarist Robin Finck and returning drummer Josh Freese, who rejoined after 17 years away. Freese originally toured with the band from 2005 to 2008 before leaving to focus on family, and his return—

Songs like “Closer” and “Head Like a Hole” still command the room, but they’re recontextualized now, placed alongside deep cuts and material from Tron: Ares. The band treats its catalog as living material: arrangements shift, setlists change, nothing stays the same. It’s this constant evolution that keeps Nine Inch Nails vital three decades in.

The Peel It Back Tour isn’t your ordinary concert. Rather, it’s a curated experience, guiding audiences through sonic textures and emotional terrain that reflect the band’s uncompromising vision. When the lights drop at MGM Grand on March 7, you’ll witness a band operating at the height of its creativity, still pushing boundaries, always defying expectations.

Omega
with a little help from your friends

Sure, you can wander through Omega Mart, Meow Wolf’s 52,000-square-foot multiverse, solo, and plenty do. But watch the crowd for five minutes and you’ll notice something: The best moments happen when people bring witnesses.

It starts at the entrance, where groups huddle around product displays, reading labels aloud: “Emergency Clams—for when regular clams just won’t cut it.” Someone grabs the Cage Free Toes sliders, someone else finds Dr. Supervisor energy drink, and suddenly everyone’s hunting for the weirdest item on the shelves. The competition is on.

Then someone opens that freezer door marked “Don’t Forget Yourself,” crawls

through to the other side, and turns back with that look, the one that says, “You’ve got to see this!”

What makes Omega Mart work as a group experience is its choose-your-ownadventure vibe. There’s no guided tour, no suggested route, no “start here” signs beyond the grocery store entrance. Groups immediately splinter into competing exploration strategies. The planners want to solve the Dramcorp mystery system-

atically, collecting clues like they’re auditing a corporate crime scene. The photographers need the perfect shot in every neon-lit hallway. The experientialists just want to touch everything.

Parents with kids in tow navigate differently than college friends on a weekend trip, who move differently than couples on date night. The kids want the slides and the climb -

Mart works best

ing walls. The college crew gravitates toward the hidden bar Datamosh, where Happle Juice flows and bartenders mix otherworldly cocktails. The date-nighters linger in installations like Claudia Bueno’s “Pulse,” where countless line drawings animate across 60 glass panels, the kind of mesmerizing art that gives you an excuse to stand close.

Solo explorers move at their own pace, which has advantages. You can spend 20 minutes decoding computer terminals in Dramcorp headquarters without someone complaining they’re bored. But you also miss the moment when your friend discovers the Micro-Breakroom employee training video, then finds the Micro-Micro-Breakroom behind it, then emerges victorious, yakking about the Daikon Pals like they’re now the expert

on Dramcorp’s darkest secrets. Dramcorp’s mystery practically demands collaboration. Piecing together the disappearance of Omega Mart employees through scattered documents and cryptic voicemails works better when someone remembers the detail you forgot. Groups develop

theories, debate corporate conspiracies, argue about which dimension connects to which.

Watch couples navigate Omega Mart and you’ll spot two distinct approaches: The “we’re staying together” pairs who move as a unit, pointing out discoveries, versus the

“meet you back here in an hour” pairs who split up and reconvene with competing stories. Your relationship will tell you which one you are.

Friend groups turn Omega Mart into an unofficial scavenger hunt. Who found the weirdest installation? Who got the best photo? Who discovered a secret room nobody else found? There’s plenty of bragging rights to go around here, fueled by the fact that Omega Mart’s 60-plus rooms and portals guarantee everyone sees something different.

Whether you’re dragging surly teenagers, treating outof-town friends or convincing your partner that yes, a grocery store is absolutely worth the price of admission, Omega Mart delivers. It’s the most fun you’ll have since before the smartphone hijacked your attention span, guaranteed.
