Time to Seriously Celebrate I don’t know about the rest of you, but this upcoming Fourth of July holiday means much more to me than it ever has before. After arguably one of the worst years in U.S. history, the idea of celebrating our country—and the limitless possibilities it presents to all its citizens—feels so much more powerful than I ever could have imagined. And Las Vegas is planning a truly epic celebration this week leading into July 4. Associate editor Kiko Miyasato’s collection of July 4-related events (“It’s Party Time,” p .30) is something you’ll want to check out immediately upon opening up this magazine. Trust us—this will be a celebration for the history books. But the fun doesn’t stop there. We know that most of you visiting this week are planning at least one special meal. After all, Las Vegas is often referred to as the Culinary Capital of the World. Why wouldn’t you want to take advantage? If so, this issue is definitely for you. We’ve compiled some of the amazing food photography Las Vegas Magazine provides on a regular basis to give you some inspiration as to where to enjoy that special dining experience (“Food for Thought,” p. 40). But that feature is only the beginning. We’ve also focused on other fun places to eat, including Water Grill at The Forum Shops at Caesars (“Making a Splash,” p.
20); Cornerstone at Gold Coast (“Go Back in Time,” p. 12); Majordomo Meat & Fish at The Palazzo (“A New Era of Dining,” p. 8); and Border Grill at Mandalay Bay (“Fire and Spice,” p. 10). In addition, editor-at-large Brock Radke scored an interview with celebrity chef Bobby Flay to talk about his newest restaurant concept at Caesars Palace, Amalfi (“Coastal Inspiration,” p. 22). A New Era of Dining Although Las Vegas has transformed into a food mecca, there’s still room for the culinary scene to grow, and there may be no better chef to help guide Vegas into a new era of dining than David Chang, for his restaurant Majordomo Meat & Fish brings a fresh update to the standard steakhouse.

Start your meal here with a cocktail, such as the Majordomo Sour, a blend of bourbon, génépi, winter spice and lemon. But, honestly, any cocktail will pair well with an order of bing bread, a fluffy sort of pancake that’s dipped or topped with several accompaniments, such as chickpea dip or shaved foie gras. Other
appetizers include the crispy shrimp with cashew, sesame and honey butter, or the towering shellfish plateau. For the entrée, you’d be remiss to skip the smoked prime rib dinner, a massive hunk of Creekstone prime beef that’s smoked until medium rare. –Las Vegas Magazine Staff

Fire and Spice Fans of Mexican food will have a hard time finding much better than Border Grill at Mandalay Bay. Tucked away on the way to the Convention Center and Shark Reef with a fabulous patio, and with views of the lazy river and Mandalay Beach, Border Grill is the brainchild of Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger of Two Hot Tamales fame. The guac is delightful, but the queso fundido may just make you consider ordering another batch before your entrée arrives. The crispy potato and ceviche tacos come with raja peppers, those oh-so-delicious yet-oh-so-spicy morsels. Ceviches can be found in several forms here, from the classic dish to tacos and tostadas. Vegans will dig the rainbow cauliflower tacos with red quinoa and smoked paprika, while carnivores have a choice of carne asada, vampiro shrimp and carnitas tacos plus arbol chicken quesadillas and grilled skirt steak. What a Rush! The Fremont Street Experience is a sprawling outdoor promenade perfect for a night of revelry. As you stroll, street vendors, shops and restaurants will likely catch your eye. But since the Experience is bustling, you might be satisfied with simply people-watching. If you’d rather watch something else, up above is the world’s largest video screen, Viva Vision, which shows off mind-blowing visuals with music by stars like Steve Aoki and The Killers. Viva

Vision went through a remodel relatively recently, which actually allows the screen to be viewed before sundown. And live music happens most weekends. You might see some people flying by. One of the hottest shows in Las Vegas is also now one of the most intimate. “X” Burlesque, the adults-only topless revue at Flamingo, now offers a “Private Edition,” limited to an audience of 30 per show. For $199 per pair, in addition to the show, guests receive a bottle of champagne, a signed “X” Burlesque poster and a Q&A with the cast after the performance. It’s just the cherry on top of a great, sensual evening of entertainment, in which some seriously athletic ladies strut their stuff to some of the most iconic pop songs of the last few decades. From Food Truck to Empire
Park MGM restaurant celebrates chef’s heritage Is there a more likable chef on the Las Vegas Strip than Roy Choi? From his ground-breaking food truck, Kogi, to his numerous restaurants throughout California and his numerous television shows, Choi is just everywhere at the moment, and has helped introduce numerous cuisine styles to the masses, but they all have one thing in common: they’re uncomplicated and just plain fun! And nowhere is this concept more apparent than at his Las Vegas restaurant, Best Friend at Park MGM. Best Friend’s menu is a nod to Choi’s Korean heritage, and just in case you weren’t sure Choi is dedicated to making this experience as fun as

possible, just take a look at some of his menu titles. Start with “Dranks,” which include a highball with Suntori Toki blended whiskey, fancy soda water and citrus, and the Salty Dog, featuring Ketel One Botanical Rose and Grapefruit vodka, grapefruit and pink peppercorn. (There’s also an extensive wine and beer list.) Then move over to “Vegas Sh*t,” which includes (obviously) options found only on the Las Vegas Strip. Choose from a dry-aged tomahawk, served with gochujang maître d’hotel butter, or the grilled whole fish, served with jalapeño ponzu and garlic veggies. Every dish just bursts with flavor and will have you coming back for more.
There’s also a terrific barbecue menu, with kalbi (bone-in short rib), a vegetable combo featuring baby bok, carrots and long beans, spicy pork served with gochujang and sesame, and soy-marinated garlic chicken. If you’re having a tough time deciding where to start here, you might want to opt for the Chef Menu ($55 per person), which includes banchan (pictured above), kogi tacos, slippery shrimp, kimchi fried rice, barbecue spicy pork belly or garlic chicken, barbecue bulgogi ribeye or kalbi, and either a date cake or lemon pie. Go Back in Time While Cornerstone is one of Vegas’ hidden gems, it’s also the crown jewel of the Gold Coast Hotel & Casino, serving up classic steakhouse fare that pays tribute to an era that feels similar to Vegas’ golden age. First, you’ll want to order a drink, and Cornerstone specializes in classic, Prohibition-era cocktails. The Old-Fashioned is a must-try, mixed with Old Forester bourbon, brown sugar, bitters, orange and dark cherries. As you sip, peruse the appetizer menu, where you’ll find tried-and-true starters like oysters on the half shell, crab cakes, shrimp cocktail and bacon-wrapped dates. They’re all wonderful, but if you’re looking for a starter that’s more robust, go with Shanghai-style fried calamari, served with a tongue-tingling chili glaze. For your main dish, ordering a classic cut like filet mignon, New York strip or bone-in ribeye is the obvious choice, but other entrées are definitely worth trying, such as the beef tips in red wine served with pappardelle pasta, or the shrimp scampi sautéed with white wine, garlic, butter and lemon and topped with chives. –Las Vegas Magazine Staff

Drink It In
Italian Excellence At Rao’s, you’ll find that special ambience and all the flavors of the New York original. However, you’ll also find a lot more room, as the Vegas version has several dining areas. (One is a replica of the N.Y. one.) Try antipasti like fried green tomato caprese with buffalo mozzarella, a real treat for vegetarians, or the traditional pork, veal and beef meatballs in marinara. Vincent’s lemon chicken, a broiled chicken with a tangy sauce. The beggar purses filled with pear and ricotta in brown butter and sage sauce get rave reviews, as do all the pasta dishes. If you’re in the mood for steak, the marsala filet mignon is topped with mushroom marsala and comes with Parmesan risotto. One of the prettiest places to be in Las Vegas at the moment has to be at Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience at Area15. The part attraction/part art museum showcases the life and works of Vincent Van Gogh, from Starry Night to his Sunflowers, in a swirling peaceful presentation. To complement the show, Area15 is serving up specialty cocktails that channel the feel of those two periods. The Starry Night features elderflower liqueur and pineapple juice with a bit of absinthe, while the Sunflower combines passion fruit juice, pineapple juice and ginger beer for a nonalcoholic mocktail. The Numbers Game
Legendary stars rock in new tribute show In reality, a rock concert lineup like this could only exist in our dreams: Robert Johnson, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse. Each one of these musical renegades influenced the genre. Each one had a unique style that was completely their own. Each one died at the age of 27. But that dream concert is now reality. Enter the new Las Vegas tribute show, 27—A Musical Adventure. First off, the space is perfect for this show— there’s really no bad seat in the house, and guests will be happy to know there’s a full bar in the back of the theater. You’ll also hear the familiar voice of actor John O’Hurley over the speakers—he’ll guide you through the musical adventure, dropping bits of knowledge about each rock star before they hit the stage. Up to the mic first is John Arthur Bingham playing blues guitarist Robert Johnson, whose

legendary sounds influenced many of the ’60s-era rockers, including the next singer out to the stage: Janis Joplin, played by Adi Argelazi. The real Joplin rose to fame after her juggernaut appearance at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967, and the tribute artist that plays her brings back all the grit and gloriousness that shone through in Joplin’s voice, in songs like “Piece of My Heart” and “Mercedes Benz.” Next out is perhaps the greatest rock guitarist of all time, Jimi Hendrix, nimbly played by Nazim Chambi, who performs hit after hit like “Purple Haze” and “Foxy Lady,” along with an impressive revisit of Hendrix’s stunning Woodstock Music and Arts festival performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Jim Morrison impersonator Toby Rand gives audiences a real taste of what it would have been like to see the real deal in concert. While
singing hit songs “Light My Fire” and “Break On Through” he dances around the stage and slithers into the crowd. Closing out the show, the timeline moves more toward ’90s and early ’00s musical influencers, first with Seattle grunge legend Kurt Cobain, portrayed by Gabe Maska. Revisit the hits that you can’t help head-banging to like “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and “Come As You Are.” English singer and songwriter Amy Winehouse appears last, but impersonator Lea Cappelli packs a punch with her soul hits like “Rehab” and “Back to Black.” This impressive show is a perfect combination of phenomenal music, all sung live, with a rocking live band and each tribute artists’ intense dedication to bringing their characters special persona and voice—back to life. –Kiko Miyasato Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, 702.693.5000

Deli Done Right For more than three decades, Bagelmania has been serving locals and guests their delicious bagels and breakfast sandwiches, and now appetites can get truly manic with the company’s new flagship location near the Las Vegas Convention Center. This 10,000-square-foot restaurant is filled with deliciousness everywhere you turn. At the front entrance, guests can peruse the bagel counter and the donut and pastries shop, or choose to sit down inside in the diner-inspired space and order from a menu packed with goodness. Start with Bagelmania’s tasty coffee concoctions; the iced vanilla latte is perfect. Obviously, try the bagel and cream cheese, but the pizza bagels should not be overlooked—they’re soft, delicious and made with housemade sauce. For meat lovers, when the pastrami Reuben, brisket melt or corned beef on double-baked rye are brought to the table, eyes will bug out. For sweets lovers, a must-order is the decadent Pretty in Pink pancakes—three pink velvet pancakes drizzled with cream cheese icing, sprinkles, maple syrup and topped with a Pink Box doughnut. –Kiko Miyasato

The Past Comes Alive Although much of the mystery surrounding the fate of the Titanic has been uncovered over the last four decades, there’s still a mystique within the tragedy that captures the imagination. You wonder about the people and the lives lost on that frigid night in the Atlantic. Who were they? Why were they there? Where were they going? It’s all become a distant and abstract memory. Yet, at Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, you get a chance to know the passengers

on a deeper level through more than 250 possessions and artifacts recovered from the ship’s wreckage. Upon entering, you receive a card with a bio of a real passenger, whose story unfolds as you make your way through. Yes, Michael Jackson is polarizing. No one is disputing that. But the impact of his art on so many things is also indisputable. Another indisputable fact: Las Vegas loves Michael Jackson tribute shows. Before the pandemic shutdown, there were no fewer than four iterations of the King of Pop along the Strip. And one of them, MJ Live, is back and delivering killer versions of classics. It’s all due to the magic of Jalles Franca, who inhabits the moves, spirit and even voice of the man and the legend. Make Some New Friends
Mandalay Bay attraction features denizens of the deep One of the most popular attractions here in Las Vegas is Shark Reef Aquarium. It is sometimes a great shock to visitors to discover that such an incongruent element as a massive aquarium exists in the desert. As you make your way through the “ruins” of Shark Reef, you’ll see several environs for its creatures, including a humid jungle area, where golden crocodiles and Komodo dragons reside. Golden crocodiles are extremely endangered, with only about 100 left in the wild; the Komodo dragon is a carnivorous reptile with toxic saliva, very sharp teeth—and great eyesight. Travel on through the interior of this sunken temple and glimpse snakes and other creatures.

In addition to the reptiles near the beginning of the exhibit, you’ll peek through massive tanks for different sea creatures, from piranha to rays and all sorts of small and exotic fish. You’ll even see those famous sharks. A really neat area is the jellyfish tank, where boatloads swim about. In another tank, a large octopus lives; he’s occasionally shy, so keep your eyes peeled. A stingray tank and pool showcases those beautiful creatures, from juveniles to adults. Probably the most fun in the exhibit is the see-through tunnel, where a bunch of smaller sharks swim past. It’s incredibly mesmerizing, and even peaceful. Another interesting area is the sunken ship. Peeking through the beams here
yields views into a super-large tank. In this one, several varieties of sharks cruise past, and they are much larger than the ones in the tunnel. Do you know how many teeth those sharks have? Up to 3,000! To add to the wonder of the Shark Reef, you may want to take advantage of the Undersea Explorer VR Theater near the entrance of the attraction. In this virtual experience, swim along with mother humpbacks and their babies, dive into the midst of tiger sharks and hammerheads. It’s both fun and educational. Helping create the Temptation Sundays party As we close out National Pride Month, we open up the conversation with Andrew LaMew, food and beverage general manager for the Luxor Pool and its weekly event, Temptation Sundays, about what Pride means to him. “I was actually talking with one of my co-workers, he’s an adult gay male, about Pride,” says LaMew. “And I think one of the things that I love about Pride is that it’s taking us in the right direction as far as the inclusivity as a country and I hope that in the long run, and I hope this doesn’t sound bad, that Pride is going to fade out because it’s going to be so accepted by everybody that we no longer have to celebrate Pride because it’s finally got to that point where everyone is accepted.” And, at Temptation Sundays, the Strip’s original LGBTQ+ pool party now in its 11th season, everyone is accepted, says LaMew. “The party can be pretty wild at times. It’s got a very vibrant and upbeat atmosphere every Sunday
no matter how busy it is. It doesn’t matter what you identify as, what your ethnicity is, where you’re from—everyone’s welcome at Temptation Sundays.” LaMew joined the pool in 2019, after working at various properties across the Strip, with a bulk of his experience concentrated on helping to run pools. “I like day shifts and I like being outside,” says the Detroit native. As the F&B manager for the pool, LaMew “provides my team with the tools they need to give our guests the best food and beverage experience.” When LaMew started in his career, he says, he would have never guessed that he’d be working in Las Vegas. “I didn’t know a lot about the city and now, I’m proud of what I’ve done, what I’ve accomplished. I look back at Detroit, it’s a phenomenal city, the family and community atmosphere is great, but then I come to Vegas and it’s opened my eyes to the rest of the world.” –Kiko Miyasato

Mixed with gin, sake, yuzu juice, Sakura cherry blossom liqueur and miso, this cocktail is a depth of well-balanced flavors. “People don’t normally think of miso going into a delicious syrup. More into a savory soup,” Lee says. “But this has more of that umami flavor. It’s a pretty cool cocktail, the ingredients, the miso, it’s just really, really cool and tasty.” Another fan favorite is sweet-meets-spiced Where There’s Smoke, a blend of tequila, peach, lime and a chipotle and cinnamon syrup. All syrups are specially made in-house, and fruit juices are freshly squeezed every day. “A lot of the cocktail program that I created for Atomic is building fresh flavors into our syrups,” says Lee. “We try to get drinks into hands of people really fast—that’s our style of service—but we don’t sacrifice flavors and experience.” And for an over-the-top spirits experience, the impressive towers, a huge vessel for the cocktail, can serve four to six people. A popular pick, named after the show’s host, the Boozy Bramble is a whiskey-based delight, kind of like a modified whiskey sour, mixed with blackberry liqueur, fresh-squeezed lemons, bitters and falernum. If you want to go slightly smaller, try one of the cool-looking flask cocktails. Guests get the cocktail delivered in a glass flask so they can pour a second round themselves. For a peachy-tasting blend, try the Fanny’s Fuzz, a blend of Belvedere vodka, fresh lemon juice, peach liqueur and a housemade syrup that’s an interesting blend of tarragon, green tea and matcha.

Lee also paid special attention to building an impressive beer (you’ll find local favorites) and wine list, as well as champagnes; head upstairs from the main floor to the petite Robin’s Nest bar to peruse a menu of the offerings. “It’s a high-level champagne list,” Lee says. “A half-bottle champagne list that’s real special to Las Vegas, and some great beers and wines—just some really nerdy, cool stuff. (It) was a lot of fun building this program; a lot of inspiration for the drinks were taken from the show. Restaurateur Bobby Flay chats about his new Italian concept Bobby Flay‘s wildly popular Mesa Grill at Caesars Palace played a major role in dining developments on the Las Vegas Strip. But times change, and the casino and restaurant partners decided to close Mesa Grill to make way for the celebrity chef’s very first Italian concept, Amalfi. We caught up with Flay to discuss his inspirations and influences.
How significant is it to open this restaurant now and play a significant role in the post-pandemic comeback of Las Vegas dining? Timing is everything. We designed the restaurant virtually during the quarantine days and started construction about five months ago and just brought it to life. The week we started serving was very exciting.

Did you bring the Amalfi concept to Caesars Palace or did the resort ask for an Italian restaurant? It was the perfect storm in the best way. Our partners at Caesars asked me what I wanted to do next and I explained how I had become obsessed and passionate about Italy in the last few decades and spent a ton of time there, and they told me they were looking
to do more fish at Caesars. I told them it sounds like we have a good deal here because I’m a huge fan of the Amalfi Coast and I just spent time there last summer, and they said, let’s do it. Were there specific dishes you discovered during your travels that inspired the concept and cuisine at this new restaurant? The fish market in general is the centerpiece of the cuisine there, and that is a big influence. On the Amalfi Coast, the fruits of the sea get paired with local vegetables and handcrafted pastas, and that’s what the restaurant in Las Vegas is really about. But specifically, I would say the bufala mozzarella grilled in the lemon leaves is a definitely a direct influence, and also the scialatielli pasta with scampi sauce; that noodle is a classic Amalfi Coast technique. The zucchini pasta with shishito pesto is a play off of something called spaghetti Nerano, and I was taught the basis of that dish

by a chef of a restaurant called Lo Scoglio in Nerano. It must have been difficult to say goodbye to Mesa Grill, one of the most popular restaurants ever on the Las Vegas Strip. Yeah, it’s one of those things. We opened the original Mesa Grill in New York in 1991 and we had Mesa Grill in Las Vegas for 16 years. It was an amazing chapter but I don’t think the chapter is closed. I think Mesa 2.0 is probably in the future at some point because it’s just been such a big part of my career and it’s an important cuisine to me. I look forward to possibly taking a new approach to Mesa in the future in Las Vegas. You also opened a quick-serve location of Bobby’s Burgers at the Forum Food Hall at Caesars Palace recently, which seems like a great fit. It’s been great. Obviously it’s a more casual, value-oriented concept, just burgers and fries and shakes and a fried chicken sandwich. But we’ve had a line through the food court since the day we opened.

been written specifically about one of the newest, most exciting venues to open in Las Vegas for some time: Omega Mart by Meow Wolf, an otherworldly experience with personality to spare. At first glance, it appears to be just a grocery store like any other, with brightly lit shelves popping with colorful products to stoke your impulse to buy, buy, buy.
But you quickly realize the theme here: Look closer. As you scan the various cans, boxes, packages and bags, you see that things are not quite what they seem—and that the humorous, askew personality of Meow Wolf is absolutely everywhere. For instance, the can that you think contains peaches actually says “Canned Beaches,”
with the word “Unexpectables” below it. Those “Omega Oranges”? They’re “Boneless and Seedless.” That pack of gum? It actually says “Gom.” And the green-andwhite candy is labeled as “Leprechaun Kidneys.” Those packs of ramen noodles? They’re “Ramen Notes” for when you want to leave a sticky note behind for a friend. That bottle of “Tomato Milk”? It’s actually a phone charger. The theme continues throughout the store, with large displays for bottles of medicine (they’re Area15 actually mints), fake plastic pro215 S. Rancho Drive duce, and fake meat products, tickets.meowwolf. including “Romantic Steak com Cakes,” “Tattoo Chickens” and “Great Smoky Muttons.” And at every turn, a store employee energetically informs you of the latest specials—and some will hand you an Omega Mart Access Card, which is affectionately titled a “Boop Card.” Once you have this in hand, look for stations you can “boop” it at. Depending on the station, you’ll take a survey, answer quiz questions or find out information about the store. Remember what we said about looking closer? That applies to the design of the store as well. You’ll quickly realize that the store is just a façade. As you explore, you’ll discover a whole world behind the scenes by crawling through a tent, slipping through a small divide in the wall, or walking into a
soda refrigerator. What you’ll find beyond is a world that can only be described as Tim Burton meets David Lynch. This part is what really pushes Omega Mart into the imagination stratosphere. This entire area is very nonlinear; you can walk anywhere you want at any time. There are hallways with seemingly endless pathways, staircases, hidden rope climbs, hidden doors, interactive displays and so much more. Along the way, marketing analysts ask you questions that make no sense (at least on the surface). But you’ll answer them anyway, because when in Rome … And if you’re planning on visiting Meow Wolf’s other installations (there’s one in Santa Fe, N.M., and another is being built in Denver, Colo.), make sure to keep that “Boop Card.” You can use it there, too, and you’ll find that the Omega Mart story is only the beginning.

Since opening in 2018, the lounge has built itself a stellar reputation as a hidden gem of sorts, an unexpected surprise for fans of gin-based cocktails.

Juniper holds more than 80 gin labels, the largest collection of its kind on the Strip. “But we didn’t just want to buy every gin on the market—we wanted it to be a curated gin program,” says Craig Schoettler, corporate mixologist for MGM Resorts International, as well as the mind and creativity behind Juniper’s cocktail
program. “We wanted to make sure we had a reason as to why we brought in the different gins we did; that we thought they were of quality or interesting enough and brought something new to the table. We didn’t just want to say we have the largest collection of gin for the sake of saying we have the largest gin collection.”
At Juniper, bartenders are knowledgeable and dedicated to their craft, eager to educate guests on gin and its background. Schoettler describes gin as one of the better spirits for cocktails. One reason is gin’s elasticity among the different styles. There are very few restrictions on what gin has to be; while it definitely needs to have juniper berries (hence the lounge’s moniker) it doesn’t have to say how much, giving the spirit the ability to
be the star (or supporting role) of the cocktail, Schoettler explains. Second, gin’s flavor profile is neutral enough that you can showcase and naturally complement other ingredients, but the gin’s botanicals give structure to the cocktails. Guests can enjoy flavor experiences that show off gin’s delicious capabilities through a wide array of Juniper’s specialty cocktails, and one of those is the Carnival. “This is one of those cocktails that if you’re a

Mixed with Tanqueray No. Ten gin, St.-Germain, fresh lime juice and a large puff of cotton candy, which melts when the liquid is poured over it. “But we don’t want to do something just for the sake of doing it; there needs to be a reason why we do it. The cotton candy—it’s the sugar to balance the cocktail, it’s not just for smoke and mirrors.” A second specialty cocktail is the GNT—a drink that the

The Circus is Back in Town! While getting a picture of the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign has long been one of those “musts” for vacationers, seeing a Cirque du Soleil production may be even more so. And this week sees the return of the longest-running Cirque show in Vegas, Mystère (Treasure Island, 702..894.7111). the crowd, stealing popcorn and seats, then progresses to a whirlwind of center-ring action. Cirque’s signature, inventive costumes nearly steal the show, with birds, lizards and jungle creatures coexisting with even more fanciful characters such as the “double faces”—it’s sometimes hard to know which side is the front and which is the back. An array of acrobats in those wild costumes shimmy
up and down poles, fling each other through the air, use aerial straps, perform a wicked balancing act, and bungee jump across the stage. And the stage! Parts of it rise, fall and move to release the denizens beneath. Musicians provide a variety of effects; the taiko drum segment is super-moving. By the end of the show, your popcorn may be gone, but your wonder will not. –Nina King
