YOUR IMPACT 2025

Thank You from John Darnell, CEO

Dear <First Name>,

As I reflect on this past year at Global Outreach, gratitude is the word that rises to the surface again and again. Gratitude for the Lord’s faithfulness, and gratitude for you.

I have had the privilege of serving as CEO of Global Outreach for the past six and a half years, following five years as a missionary in Costa Rica and Ecuador, and two and a half years on staff as Director of Member Care. Those years on the field and behind the scenes continue to shape how I lead today. I know firsthand the joys and the challenges of missionary life, and it remains my deepest desire that Global Outreach would be a blessing to our missionaries, not a burden. That is why your generosity matters so much. Because of you, we are able to care well for those God has called to go.

This year, I have been especially proud of the work our missionaries are doing in some of the hardest places in the world. In environments marked by instability, closed borders, and growing opposition, they continue to serve faithfully. I am also encouraged by the way our missionaries bless one another and our home office team. They model humility, collaboration, and a shared commitment to the gospel.

We are navigating a rapidly changing world. Places that were once easy to enter are now denying visas. Conflicts, including those in the Middle East, have required evacuations. Even here in the United States, political and economic uncertainty can weigh heavily on all of us. These challenges can bring anxiety, but they also remind me that this mission does not depend on our strength alone. The Lord is at work, and He will accomplish His purposes. Our call is to depend on Him fully.

How You Supported Missionaries

Because of your faithful generosity, missionaries around the world were strengthened, encouraged, and resourced to continue their calling. Your support made it possible for five Bloom Gatherings that provided meaningful fellowship for women missionaries, as well as a Men’s Missionary Retreat designed for rest and renewal. Through your partnership, Care Coordinators were able to connect with missionaries 809 times, offering personal care and encouragement, and the GOI Finance team processed more than 84,000 gifts, ensuring vital support reached missionaries efficiently and on time.

The Power of Prayer

missionaries monthly

One of the great joys of this year past has been seeing our missionaries recruit and invite others to join Global Outreach. I love hearing the stories of how God is using our people to call others into service, and how we get to walk alongside them as part of their calling. In 2025 alone, God brought 56 new missionaries to the field through Global Outreach! This is both a celebration and a sacred responsibility. We need the Lord’s wisdom to steward these missionaries well, and we deeply need your prayers and faithful financial support to do so.

In this season of leadership, God continues to teach me about complete and total surrender. He is inviting me to use my gifts in new and exciting ways, while keeping everything centered on His glory. As we look ahead to 2026, I am especially looking forward to meeting as many of our donors, partner churches, and ministry partners as possible. I hope to reconnect with old friends and make many new ones as we continue this mission together.

As you read this report, I hope you will enjoy seeing the impact you have helped make this past year. Your partnership is changing lives and advancing the gospel around the world.

Thank you for standing with Global Outreach. Your partnership is making a real and eternal impact. I am confident that together, we can reach every nation, this generation.

A Story You Helped Make Possible

More than a century ago, American Baptist missionaries planted the gospel among the Naga people of Northeast India. Those seeds bore fruit across generations — and today, they are still multiplying.

Eisen and Bliss

Manipur | Serving in Chiang Mai, Thailand

Eisen and Bliss came to faith because of that early missionary work. In October, they became Global Outreach missionaries and are now serving in Thailand.

“The Lord was preparing us for so many years, and now doors are opening up. God also opened the door to Global through another GOI missionary here in Chiang Mai.”

At their Equipping Center for Christian Workers, they lead in-residence training programs for Hill Tribe members, Thai nationals, and Burmese believers. After years of serving with limited support, Eisen and Bliss are now experiencing the care and encouragement made possible through Global Outreach.

“The importance of member care, which we barely had before on the field, and the prayer support we are getting has made us very happy, hopeful, and

relieved. We are confident God is leading us on the right path through GOI.”

Ministry Impact Today

• Training and discipling students from multiple tribes and nations, including Myanmar

• Equipping future leaders across Southeast Asia

• Laying groundwork for future training centers

Eisen says “Both Bliss and I come from families who suffered for Christ, and after our own true conversions in the late 1990s, we dedicated our lives to equipping the next generation to follow Jesus.”

Because you gave, the gospel once brought to the Naga people is now being carried forward by the Naga people to the nations. Even amid unexpected challenges with housing, staffing, and ministry expenses, Eisen and Bliss continue to trust God’s provision.

Through your prayers and generosity, missionaries like Eisen and Bliss are able to remain on the field, train future leaders, and move forward in faith.
