Glenn Wayne Trede, born in San Diego, CA, began following a distinctive life path from an early age. At 17, he chose to join a monastery, dedicating three years to the disciplined study and practice of yoga meditation. A severe motorcycle accident left him with brain trauma and two broken femurs, beginning a long recovery that spanned six years. During this time, he worked in various part-time positions, including roles as a security guard, aircraft parts inspector, and shipper. These experiences tested his perseverance and adaptability, teaching him the importance of patience and determination in overcoming adversity. In 1986, he decided to redirect his life through education by enrolling in a computer technology trade school. His dedication to learning earned him a GPA of 90%, paving the way for a career in technology. Starting as a computer technician, his skills and proactive approach soon led to a managerial role. He served major clients such as Southern CA Edison and the Los Angeles Department of Water, and on one occasion, traveled overnight from Los Angeles to Maryland to resolve a critical technical problem, showing his commitment and reliability. His personal life brought both change and stability. In 1992, he married a woman from Brazil, which led him into the Amway business, though the marriage ended shortly afterward. In 1995, he married again, beginning a partnership that has endured for three decades. Together, they managed an 18-unit property and operated a Chinese restaurant that won a community award for excellence.
