RESIDENT DRAWING & PAINTING STUDIO
The Stone Tower Studio and Gallery at Glen Echo Park houses resident artist J. Jordan Bruns, who bridges representational and abstract approaches to artmaking. The gallery showcases work in both traditional and nontraditional methods using a variety of media. Through instruction, artists champion experimentation and innovation in the artmaking process and promote these concepts through the “Art Clinic” program.

Leave the bulky plein air gear in the studio and embark on a journey of reference collection. This class focuses on gathering the right photographs, sketches, and color studies to infuse your studio paintings with the freshness and beauty of life. Plein Air Fall focuses on emphasizing color mixing, identifying focal points in the landscape, and the creation of illusionistic space in your observational paintings.
