At the Healthy Lifestyle Center, we’re committed to providing programs, educational workshops, support groups, and many other resources to support not just the physical—but emotional, mental and social wellbeing of our members. Both here and beyond our gates.
Our “We Care” handbook is a resource guide designed to help us along our mental wellness journey. It is a veritable toolkit to address key challenges like stress, anxiety, loneliness, depression and social isolation.
We hope the opportunities we are providing will help you embrace and “Own your Wellness.”
Healthy Lifestyle Center and Healthy Lifestyle Committee

Somewhere there is a place where I belong
Where an orchestra plays my favorite song
Butterflies gather and birds fly high
A beautiful place in a sun-lit sky
I wake and I wonder the land of the free
Where souls dance happy and the shore meets the sea
Mermaids chat and whisper the day
And Gods of hope are not far away
The place where I belong sits right in my hand
It lies in oceans blue and drifts of hot sand
I carry it with me, for my eyes to see.

Open to any member who wishes to address their addiction through a nontraditional 12-step approach. This supportive group meets every Monday.
This group is dedicated to helping members who have suffered a loss. It provides support for dealing with grief and other emotions. The group begins on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 4:00 pm at the Lomond Hills Clubhouse.
Designed for caregivers who are supporting their spouses or partners with Alzheimer’s disease. This group offers a safe, non-judgmental environment to share experiences and gain support. Meetings occur on the 4th Thursday of every month in the Maintenance Boardroom.
When a person is diagnosed with cancer, no matter what kind, their world completely changes. Understanding what is next, the people and processes that are in their future is complex and confusing.
We are developing a new program to train members of our community to mentor other members. Working with a peer mentor, who has walked a similar path with cancer can provide guidance and a tremendous amount of support and encouragement in a safe, comfortable and confidential environment. If you are interested in becoming a mentor or participating in this program, please contact Audrey Cole at 201-390-4463. Training will be provided.
