Impact Report October 1, 2024 – September 30, 2025

Our mission is to provide opportunities for community-based healthcare support and to promote Glencoe Regional Health.
The phrase “We’re Here For Health” isn’t just catchy. It summarizes our work with an accuracy that usually takes many more words.
We’re here for the health of our patients and residents. Our facility is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The healthcare sector in our country is far from perfect; there is a gap between the cost of care that we provide and the dollars we receive in return. It’s complicated. Generosity from our community can help fill that gap, ensuring we continue being here when you and your loved ones need us.
We’re here for the health of our community. Health is part of our daily lives, and a lot of life happens outside the walls of our facility. When local organizations are doing great work to promote and facilitate health and well-being, we want to be a partner in that work. We can do more together than any organization can do alone.
There’s more. In order to provide the care we do for our community, we need a skilled workforce - talented and committed healthcare professionals who choose our rural setting. We invest in local students pursuing careers in healthcare to build the workforce in our backyard. To care for our community. To care for you.

Thank you for being a partner in our work.
Liz Cheney, CFRE Foundation Director

Thank you for your leadership and commitment!

Mary Ott, a founding board member of Glencoe Regional Health Foundation, humbly served our organization for over 30 years.
She was passionate, determined, and smart. During her tenure on our Board of Directors, we launched the Sanken-Hatz Scholarship Program that has supported hundreds of local students, purchased Telestroke Equipment for the Emergency Department, fully funded the creation of the Wound Center, developed and supported Prairie Trail around the Glencoe campus, and so much more.
Mary passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2025, and will be missed by all who knew her.
The Foundation’s Board of Directors has honored Mary and her incredible service with a name plate on our River of Life donor display, and we will award a scholarship in her name in 2026.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
The donors and gifts listed on the next several pages are specific to our Fiscal Year 2025. We believe this list is accurate and complete, but if we missed the mark on your gift, please let us know so that we can update our records.

“I’m deeply honored to be the first recipient of the Carver Family Scholarship. The recognition and support mean the world to me as I continue my path into nursing. Carol Carver was a very special person, and her memory makes this award even more meaningful.
The support from the GRH Foundation through the Carver Family Scholarship has allowed me to have some flexibility to consider a really great hands-on opportunity of studying abroad in the Netherlands, where we do community clinicals and learn what makes it one of the happiest countries.” —
