Slithers, smiles and school holiday fun

JOIN in the extended Easter fun at Beerwah Marketplace and Beerwah Village on Thursday, April 16, with plenty to keep young locals entertained during the school holiday period.

Just outside KHub from 9am to 11am, children can enjoy face painting and hands-on reptile-themed activities, before the highlight event—the Snake Boss Reptile Show— slithers into action from 11am to 12:30pm. It’s an engaging way to introduce

kids to Australia’s unique wildlife in a safe and interactive setting.

Adding to the excitement is a colouringin competition running from April 4 to 15, encouraging families to visit local businesses while giving children the chance to win one of five $50 Kmart gift cards. Entry forms can be collected and returned at participating venues, Burrito Bar Beerwah and The Local Beerwah Café & Bar.

Celebrate Easter at Burpengary East!

BURPENGARY East is set to bring Easter to life this April, with sweet treats and a special appearance from the Easter Bunny. Spot the Easter Bunny in the Centre on Saturday 4 April, as he hops around

posing for photos with families. He will be in the Woolworths precinct from 11am to 2pm, before making his way to the dining precinct from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

To celebrate our latest exhibition, Grassroots to Glory: Around the Track, join us for an action-packed day of athletic fun with a Bungee Run Inflatable Challenge! This high energy activity lets kids and adults race side-by-side down a giant inflatable track. Older participants are fitted with a harness, while younger kids—who cannot wear a harness for safety reasons— can still have fun running on the inflatable. But there’s a twist: the bungee cords pull you backwards just when you think you’ve got it! It’s hilarious, competitive, and guaranteed to get hearts pumping.
