I am declaring it’s time to start prepping for the festive season and we decided it is the perfect time for us to gently remind you with our Christmas Feasting feature. We do feel it is our duty to scare and shock you with the knowledge that you need to start booking all of your tasty Christmas treats now, as we don’t want you to be disappointed. Most importantly, you need to get busy organising Christmas parties, dinners and catch-ups with friends, workmates and family. If it is a touch of glamour with a beautiful garden view you’re after, then you can’t go past the Hideaway at Beerwah. If you love a fun night at the pub, what about heading to our local Beerwah Hotel or maybe head up to Palmview
Hotel for a change? If you are in charge of the Christmas celebrations at work or home why not take a moment, close your eyes and visualise what set up you would like for the event. A Christmas function to remember Looking for a local Christmas function venue that promises a stunning rainforest backdrop, festive styling and an exquisite buffet menu? Consider the gorgeous Beerwah Hideaway with its purpose-built function centre for a Christmas event gathering to remember. Recently renovated, Beerwah Hideaway is one of the hinterland’s premier function venues, boasting a spectacular glass-fronted function room set against more than two acres of lush rainforest gardens. Beerwah Hideaway functions organiser Tegan Casu said that with seating for up to 100 guests, she and the team were looking forward to offering memorable Christmas function events. The price per person covers full festive decorations, setup and styling, bonbons, delicious main and sweets buffet, beverage on arrival and more.
“We offer a wonderful local and hassle-free way to host a beautiful Christmas function, and we are always happy to work with our function guests if they have any additional requirements or requests. We have a PA and audiovisual setup that can be made available and special dietary requirements can be catered for. We love decorating the venue with Christmas cheer and our Christmas buffets are amazing,” Tegan said. For just $45 per person, Christmas celebrations at Beerwah Hideaway include a scrumptious twocourse lunch or dinner that also includes seafood. Vegetarian and vegan menu options are available and the buffet features locally sourced and seasonal produce. A glass of bubbles, beer, cider, wine or soft drink is included, with the option to purchase drinks from the fully licensed bar or arrange a bar tab for function guests. There is plenty of parking on site with additional overflow parking available if needed. For groups of 30 or more Beerwah Hideaway offers exclusive use of the venue for Christmas or end-ofyear celebratory events.
For those wishing to make a night of it, accommodation for up to 14 guests is also available on site. “We just want people to come along, enjoy the Christmas decorations and beautiful dining in our stunning rainforest setting and have some festive fun,” Tegan said. The mouth-watering Christmas function menu includes festive favourites such as roast turkey with cranberries, spiced maple-glazed baked ham, seasonal seafood, garlic and rosemary roasted potatoes, seasonal roasted vegetables, Yorkshire pudding, apple, cranberry and almond coleslaw, and more. The dessert buffet is also a feast with sticky date pudding, pavlova with summer berries, cheesecake and fruit salad with cream on offer.
