Agnes Water and the Town of 1770 sit perfectly at the halfway point between Bundaberg and Gladstone. It’s also where Captain James Cook first came ashore in what is now Queensland – a spot steeped in history and surrounded by natural beauty.
Just over an hour and a half south will bring you to the Bundaberg region including Woodgate Beach, Elliott Heads, Bargara, Mon Repos and Moore Park where you can swim, snorkel, surf and sun bake all year round.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Australia’s Great Barrier Reef is one of the most diverse regions of Queensland for travellers. Most people are familiar with one aspect of the region’s offering whether it would be food and wine, beautiful beaches or wildflowers. However rarely do travellers realise the diversity of experiences in the Southern Great Barrier Reef. And what better way to explore it’s offerings than driving through the region yourself.
