Dear Girl Scouts,
As we look ahead to Summer 2026, I am thrilled to share our theme for the upcoming season: Cultivate & Celebrate.
Over the past two summers, we have grown something truly special together In 2024, we planted the seeds, rediscovering the wonder, joy, and possibility that camp brings to every Girl Scout In 2025, we focused on Growing Together, strengthening the community we built and nurturing the roots that took hold in our second season Now, as we enter our third year, we find ourselves surrounded by the results of that shared effort: a blooming camp community where Girl Scouts feel a deep sense of belonging, empowerment, and adventure
To cultivate means to care for something so it can flourish; to develop our skills, tend to our friendships, and grow not just upward, but inward. It reminds us that there is always more to learn, more to build, and more space to deepen our roots even as we continue to branch out. As a camp, we remain committed to this ongoing work: cultivating leadership, confidence, courage, and strong connections among every camper and staff member who joins us.
But summer is also a time to celebrate; to pause and recognize just how far we’ve come This year, we celebrate so many joyful milestones: the return of familiar faces and the excitement of welcoming new campers and staff; our successful re-accreditation with the American Camp Association, reaffirming our commitment to the highest standards of safety and programming; and, most importantly, the everyday magic and memories created here at Camp Kaufmann None of this would be possible without the extraordinary people and the extraordinary place that make our camp community shine
We cannot wait to see the growth, joy, and celebration that await us this summer. Thank you for being part of this journey and for helping us continue to Cultivate & Celebrate all that makes Camp Kaufmann unforgettable.
Yours in Girl Scouting,

Promise
On my honor, I will try: To serve God* and my country, To help people at all times, And to live by the Girl Scout Law
*Members may substitute for the word God in accordance with their own spiritual beliefs
Law
I will do my best to be honest and fair, friendly and helpful, considerate and caring, courageous and strong, and responsible for what I say and do, and to respect myself and others, respect authority, use resources wisely, make the world a better place, and be a sister to every Girl Scout.

As the only council that exclusively serves Girl Scouts living in a city, we feel a special responsibility to get our members outdoors! First time explorations into nature can be scary. Knowing this, we offer a wide variety of experiences to help acclimate Girl Scouts to the natural world. We know that when members have a better understanding of the natural world, they are more likely to care for it

The many benefits of spending time outdoors include:

Girl Scouts discover that they can better solve problems and overcome challenges.
Girl Scouts develop leadership skills and build social bonds. And are happier overall.
Girl Scouts become team players and care even more about protecting our environment.

For more information on the benefits of the outdoors, read our Girl Scout Research Institute Report – “More Than S’mores”
Here’s an overview of all our summer programs. Read on to learn more about them!
Girl Scout level for camp is the grade that they will be entering in Fall 2026, i.e., a Girl Scout who will be in 6th grade in Fall 2026 would register for the Cadette sessions.
