The
Girl Scout Law
I will do my best to be honest and fair, friendly and helpful, considerate and caring, courageous and strong, and responsible for what I say and do, and to respect myself and others, respect authority, use resources wisely, make the world a better place, and be a sister to every Girl Scout.
The Girl Scout Mission
Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
The Girl Scout Promise
On my honor, I will try: to serve God and my country, to help people at all times, and to live by the Girl Scout Law.
Girl Scouts create the world they want to live in and strive to make it better every single day. They explore their strengths, take on new challenges, and can always be themselves, regardless of background or ability.
Supported by adult volunteers and mentors right here in our community, as well as millions of alums around the globe, Girl Scouts lead the way as they discover who they are and how they can make the future a brighter place.
Girl Scouts Heart of the South brings the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls in 59 counties, including those in the Lafayette-Oxford-University area. With your support, GSHS can improve access to impactful programs in Life Skills, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math), and Entrepreneurship, and provide unique Outdoor Experiences that empower thousands of girls across our region to become leaders for today and tomorrow.
