The PyeongChang 2018 Olympic lighting project took place across multiple venues inside Alpensia Sports Park, including the Ski Jump Stadium, Biathlon Center, and Cross-country Stadium.
Existing 12 lighting poles at the ski jump were reused, and two additional poles were installed on the training hill, applying GigaTera’s SUFA luminaires. Installations across all venues were completed between 2016 and 2017, enabling the successful hosting of the Winter Olympics.

SUFA-P: Elevating Şenol Güneş Spor Kompleksi Trabzonspor Stadium with FIFA-Class Illumination In September 2025, GigaTera® completed a full lighting retrofit at Şenol Güneş Spor Kompleksi Trabzonspor Stadium, home of Turkish Süper Lig club Trabzonspor, using 264 SUFA-P luminaires. At only 13.3 kg per 1.35 kW fixture, the ultra-lightweight and low-EPA design cut wind load by 35%, requiring no structural reinforcement to the original architecture.

Panaya Indra Golf Club consists of three 9-hole courses (A, B, and C) for a total of 27 holes. In this upgrade project, 860 units of aging 1.1 kW metal halide luminaires (including ballast power) on B and C courses were replaced one-to-one with GigaTera® SUFA 400W LED luminaires. Boeing’s engineering teams rigorously tested multiple LED lighting brands for over two years before selecting GigaTera® lighting as their final choice. Since Boeing facilities operate 24/7, long lifetime and reliability were the most critical requirements. This project replaced conventional 450W metal halide luminaires with GigaTera’s 500W SEGA-H high-bay lighting solution. On August 2, 2025, Borussia Park celebrated the club’s 125th anniversary with a lighting show synchronized to the club’s anthem, creating an immersive experience for fans. Using DMX-based control with RTS™-G3, the system achieved seamless color transitions from the stadium roof down to the pitch, not only enhancing the match-day atmosphere but also providing striking architectural lighting for the entire venue.
