Este tipo de recubrimiento, tanto en el vaso como en la playa, vestuarios o instalaciones complementarias, están expuestos a altas y variadas solicitaciones debido a su función, las condiciones de uso y también el entorno donde se ubican.

El extrusionado es altamente resistente y ofrece solución a todos los requisitos que se plantean en una instalación de este tipo. Variedad de formas, colores, texturas y una gama completa de piezas especiales que dan respuesta a la demanda de diseño y calidad de técnicos especializados en la realización de proyectos y construcción de piscinas.

EXAGRES has a specific product line for sport public swimming pools. This type of cladding, both in the basin and on the deck, dressing rooms or complementary facilities, is exposed to high and varied requests due to its functions, conditions for use and also the environment where it is located.

The extruded stoneware is highly resistant and offers a solution to all requirements that arise in a facility of this type. DE CORONACIÓN DESBORDANTE

Las piscinas de coronación desbordante son aquellas en las que el agua del vaso está a la misma altura que la playa. El agua se “desborda” por todo el perímetro de la piscina y se recoge en una canaleta que bordea el vaso. Normalmente en este canal se filtra el agua consiguiendo mantener el agua limpia.

Es el sistema utilizado mayoritariamente en piscinas de uso público deportivo (en función de las medidas y de las normativas vigentes en cada país su uso es obligatorio). Aporta ventajas higiénicas y estéticas como una excelente visibilidad y una superficie aparente mayor que la del vaso.

OVERFLOW EDGE SYSTEM

The overflowing deck pools are those where the water in the pool is at the same height as the deck. The water “overflows” around the perimeter of the pool and is collected in a channel that surrounds the pool. Normally, this channel filters the water, keeping the water clean. This is the most commonly used system in public swimming pools (depending on the measurements and the valid regulations in each country, its use is obligatory). It provides hygienic and aesthetic advantages such as excellent visibility and a surface that seems larger than the size of the pool.

La baldosa ofrece una gran resistencia por la acción combinada en características geométricas: por un lado el dorso ranurado y además en cola de milano, que aumenta la superficie de contacto entre adhesivo y baldosa, y por otro el ranurado lateral, que maximiza la adhesión de los bordes con el material de juntas.

The tile offers great resistance due to the combined action of geometric characteristics. Dove tail profile optimizes the adherence to the bond coat, because it increases the contacting surface, and the grooving side of the piece maximizes the adhesion with the material used for joints.

BAJA ABSORCIÓN DE AGUA LOW WATER ABSORPTION

Las piezas obtenidas mediante extrusión cerámica poseen una porosidad baja, inferior al 1,5% frente a la absorción de agua, con lo que se consiguen mejores características técnicas (resistencia mecánica, propiedades antihielo, higiénicas,... etc)

The pieces obtained by ceramic extrusion have a low porosity, less than 1.5% to water absorption, which allows better technical characteristics (mechanical resistance, anti-freeze, hygienic properties, etc.)

PROPIEDADES ANTIDESLIZANTES ANTISLIP PROPERTIES

Las piezas de las series Piscinas de Exagres alcanzan un valor de CLASE 3 en resistencia al deslizamiento (UNE 41901EX) con las normas y requisitos del Código Técnico de la Edificación (CTE), para los usos más restrictivos. Además obtiene la máxima clasificación, Clase C en la Norma del Ángulo Crítico de Deslizamiento para zonas húmedas (DIN 51097), y valores de R10 hasta R12 según la Norma del Ángulo Crítico de Deslizamiento (DIN 51130).

All of the series destined for private swimming pools reach a CLASS 3 value for anti-slip resistance (UNE 41901 EX), thus offering greater safety and complying with the regulations of the technical building code. It also obtains the maximum rating, Class C, in the regulation for the Critical Angle of Slip for wet areas (DIN 51097) and values of R11-R12 in the regulation for Critical Angle of Slip (DIN 51130).

El sistema FINLANDÉS es el sistema más utilizado para piscinas desbordantes en instalaciones de uso público deportivo.

·Atenuación del oleaje en vasos deportivos de competición.

Las piezas tienen el dorso estriado en Cola de Milano, lo que mejora el agarre entre cerámica y soporte debido a que el mortero penetra en la pieza cerámica aumentando la superficie de sujeción de la baldosa .

The pieces have the ribbed backing in Milano Tail, which improves the grip between ceramic and support because the mortar penetrates the ceramic piece increasing the fixing surface of the tile.

PROPIEDADES ANTIDESLIZANTES ANTISLIP PROPERTIES

Todas las series destinadas a piscinas privadas alcanzan un valor de CLASE 3 en resistencia al deslizamiento (UNE 41901 EX), ofreciendo así una seguridad mayor y cumpliendo con las normas del C.T.E. Además obtiene la máxima clasificación, Clase C, en la norma del Ángulo Crítico de Deslizamiento para zonas húmedas (DIN 51097), y valores de R11-R12 en la norma del Ángulo Crítico de Deslizamiento (DIN 51130) .

All of the series destined for private swimming pools reach a CLASS 3 value for anti-slip resistance (UNE 41901 EX), thus offering greater safety and complying with the regulations of the technical building code. It also obtains the maximum rating, Class C, in the regulation for the Critical Angle of Slip for wet areas (DIN 51097) and values of R11-R12 in the regulation for Critical Angle of Slip (DIN 51130).

El gres extruido tiene muy fácil mantenimiento, ya que es resistente a las manchas (Clase 5) y a los productos químicos. Al ser un producto con muy baja absorción de agua, se ensucia poco y es fácil su limpieza.

De este modo, al igual que ocurre con el pavimento de continuación o playa, hay que tener en cuenta aspectos fundamentales como la impermeabilidad, la capacidad antideslizante, la absorción de calor o temperatura, así como las perdidas de tonalidad o las características de su mantenimiento, resistencia a la intemperie, resistencia a las altas temperaturas, a las heladas, etc.

PISCINAS DESBORDANTES

En este tipo de piscinas el agua rebosa el borde consiguiendo un efecto visual espectacular. El agua desborda y cae a un canal que la conduce hacia el sistema de filtrado. Gracias al flujo de agua de la piscina hacia el canal, hay una corriente importante de agua en la superficie, que arrastra las hojas y demás impurezas e impide que se depositen en el fondo. El flujo constante de agua hace que la suciedad superficial se elimine de forma rápida.

Este movimiento constante de agua hace que las piscinas desbordantes prácticamente no requieran limpieza de fondo, ya que la mayor parte de la suciedad es arrastrada hacia el canal y no llega a depositarse en el fondo. Por este motivo son muy utilizadas en piscinas de caracter público y recreativo (hoteles, spas, centros termales,....) donde se requiere una limpieza del agua constante.

This continual movement of the water means that overflow pools hardly ever require a deep clean as the majority of the dirt is washed away to the channel instead of sinking to the bottom of the pool. This means that they are often used as public pools, such as in hotels, spas and resorts, which require the water to be constantly cleaned.

PISCINAS SKIMMER SKIMMER POOLS

El otro sistema habitual de piscinas son las llamadas piscinas de skimmer. Coloquialmente, el skimmer sería el hueco que nos encontramos en la parte superior de la piscina con una “lengüeta”, y a través del cual seremos capaces de limpiar el agua de la superficie de la piscina (los 15-20 cms más elevados del nivel de agua) e introducir dicho agua en el sistema de canalización, para su limpieza y desinfección.

Por ejemplo, en una piscina rectangular, desborde por uno, dos o tres lados de la piscina. Recibe su nombre gracias al efecto óptico que produce el no ver donde acaba, por dónde se va el agua. Así, si nos encontramos en una zona junto al mar, puede llegar a dar la sensación de que continúa con el agua del mar, de ahí lo de infinito. Habitualmente, el agua suele rebasar el borde y caer verticalmente desde mayor o menor altura, sobre una canaleta que puede actuar como depósito de compensación o únicamente como parte del circuito, a un vaso de compensación oculto. El sistema de coronación desbordante se caracteriza por tener el agua al mismo nivel que la parte superior de la terraza. El agua desborda y cae a un canal que la conduce hacia el sistema de filtrado. El canal está cubierto por la rejilla cerámica.

El sistema skimmer es un sistema de coronación estandarizado en el que el nivel del agua se sitúa a unos 20 centímetros por debajo de los bordes. Las piscinas tradicionales son funcionales y requieren un mantenimiento sencillo. Los skimmers son, simplemente, las aberturas situadas debajo del borde y sirven para filtrar el agua. Gracias a las diferentes piezas especiales que componen las colecciones que disponen de la coronación skimmer -Ópera, Yoho, Milán, Marbles, Petra, Natura, Lucca y Gresan-, es posible lograr una continuidad estética entre el interior y el exterior de las diferentes estancias que puede tener cualquier proyecto, ya sea de carácter residencial o contract.

¿De que color se verá el agua de la piscina?

Hay muchos factores que influyen en el color con el que se verá el agua de nuestra piscina,, como la profundidad del agua, la luz del lugar en el que se encuentra la piscina, el entorno, si es una piscina interior o exterior así como la iluminación utilizada.

A más volumen de agua y a más profundidad, más azul tenderá a verse la piscina. La luz del sol es también un factor importante, a más luminosidad, más clara se verá el agua mientras que una luz más tenue la oscurecerá. Si la piscina está rodeada de vegetación se verá más verde y oscura y si el paisaje que le rodea es desértico el agua parecerá más clara.

A parte de esto, otros de los factores determinantes va a ser el color del material utilizado para el vaso de la piscina. En este punto sí podrás personalizar tu piscina con estilo propio, elegiendo entre una amplia variedad de colores y texturas que te ofrece Exagres.

What colour will the water in my pool appear?

Lots of factors combine to influence the colour that the water will look in your pool, such as the depth of the water, the light where your pool is located, the surrounding environment, whether it’s an indoor or outdoor pool, as well as the type of lighting used.

The more water in your pool and the deeper it is, the more blue the water will appear. Sunlight is also an important component, as the lighter it is, the lighter the water will be, while a dimmer light will lead to darker water. If the pool is surrounded by greenery, the water will be darker and greener, but if it is surrounded by desert, however, it will appear lighter.

EXTRUSION PROCESS

La extrusión es una técnica de conformado para la fabricación de productos cerámicos.

Básicamente el proceso de extrusión consiste en forzar el paso, mediante la aplicación de presión, de la pasta con consistencia plástica a través de una matriz.

La fabricación de baldosas mediante el proceso de extrusión consta de cuatro fases principales: amasado, conformado, secado y cocción.

- el amasado consiste en el mezclado con agua de las materias primas previamente preparadas y molidas. Con esto se consigue una pasta fácilmente moldeable por extrusión.

- en el conformado se realiza introduciendo la masa plástica en la extrusora, y con presión de vacío es amasada y empujada a través de la boquilla para obtener las piezas finales.

Con este proceso se pueden obtener piezas especiales como peldaños o bordes piscinas, etc...

- después las piezas ya moldeadas son sometidas a aire caliente para eliminar el contenido de humedad.

- posteriormente son cocidas a altas temperaturas, obteniendo una perfecta vitrificación de las mismas.

Con este proceso los materiales pueden ser reciclados en su totalidad y admiten hasta un 45% de materiales reciclados en su proceso estándar.

Extrusion is a shaping technique for the manufacture of ceramic products.

Basically, the extrusion process consists of forcing the passage, through the use of pressure, of a paste with plastic consistency through a grid.

The manufacture of tiles through the extrusion process consists of four main phases: kneading, shaping, drying and firing.

- The kneading consists of mixing the previously prepared and milled raw materials with water. This results in a paste that is easily malleable by extrusion.

- The shaping is carried out by placing the plastic paste in the extruder, which is kneaded and pushed through the nozzle by vacuum pressure in order to obtain the final pieces.

This process results in special pieces such as steps or pool edging, etc.

- Later, the moulded pieces are subjected to hot air in order to eliminate any humidity.

- They are then fired at high temperatures, obtaining perfect vitrification of the same.

With this process, the materials can be fully recycled and accept up to 45% of recycled material in their standard process.

PAVIMENTACIÓN DE PLAYAS Y ESPACIOS ANEXOS POOL SURROUND FLOORING

Las playas y espacios anexos a una piscina, como vestuarios, servicios, solarios y otros son transitados con pie descalzo y frecuentemente con agua, humedad, ensuciamiento por uso, polvo y contaminación en caso de playas exteriores. Estas solicitaciones junto a otras (golpes, abrasiones, acción de heladas) son determinantes a la hora de seleccionar una baldosa para pavimentar estos espacios.

La baldosa elegida debe ser antideslizante, con resistencia mecánica, química y a la helada, con mínima porosidad superficial y fácilmente limpiable.

La aprobación en España del Código Técnico de la Edificación (C.T.E.) supone un endurecimiento de los requisitos de antideslizamiento en las piscinas en general e instalaciones deportivas de uso público a fin de garantizar la seguridad del usuario frente al riesgo de caídas. El Documento Básico SU1 (Seguridad de Utilización) establece la obligatoriedad de pavimentos con Resistencia al Deslizamiento (Rd) en función de su localización y su Clase exigible, concretamente es:

Zonas interiores húmedas, vestuarios, baños, aseos y duchas.

Superficies con pendiente menor que el 6%

Superficies con pendiente igual o mayor que el 6% y escaleras

Zonas exteriores. Piscinas (1).

Para proyectos ejecutados en otros países recomendamos utilizar baldosas y piezas especiales calificadas como CLASE C (ensayo pie descalzo, plano inclinado DIN 51097).

/ RECOMENDACIONES DE COLOCACIÓN

Hay que considerar el tipo de soporte y las condiciones de uso de la instalación. La superficie a revestir debe estar limpia de asfaltos, aceites, grasas, polvo, aditivos del hormigón. En balnearios, piscinas terapéuticas, termas, hidromasajes - spas, y talasoterapia (piscinas con agua de mar) se recomienda utilizar juntas de alta resistencia química y a la abrasión.

TAREAS PREVIAS A LA COLOCACIÓN

• Comprobar y clasificar el material suministrado a obra, diferentes baldosas y piezas especiales, colores y texturas, sometiendo el sistema de recubrimiento a la Dirección Facultativa.

• Comprobar las condiciones del soporte, geometría, aplomado de aristas y rincones, calidad superficial, retracción y humedad residual.

• Nivelar el soporte si es necesario. Impermeabilizar y verificar con Prueba de Estanqueidad.

• Comprobar dimensiones del vaso y los niveles de desborde y coronación.

• Situar las juntas de movimiento y partición de acuerdo con la D.F.

• Organización de acopios a pie de tajo.

• Replanteo detallado: medidas, modularidad y piezas en puntos singulares.

• Planificación de ejecución

INSTALACIÓN DE LA CERÁMICA

• Marcar líneas de referencia cada 2 m. formando una retícula de control.

• Marcar el eje de simetría y marcar las líneas de calles en las paredes cortas.

• Utilizar la marcación de calles como referencia, colocando baldosas enteras entre ellas, siguiendo la retícula.

• En caso necesario situar las piezas cortadas en el fondo del vaso.

• La junta entre piezas para piezas de Exagres, será de 5mm y para Gresan una junta de 6-10mm, para respetar la modularidad de las series y la correspondencia de juntas entre los diferentes formatos y/o piezas especiales.

COLOCACIÓN POR EL SISTEMA DE CAPA DELGADA

• Sobre soportes regulares y nivelados, usando adhesivos mediante llana dentada.

• El espesor de mortero adhesivo es 5-10 mm.

• El soporte debe ser sano, limpio, seco, plano (3 mm de desnivel, como máximo, en 3 m.) y aplomado.

• Usar un mortero de nivelación si es necesario.

• Sobre soportes de hormigón hay reparar las grietas antes de la colocación.

• La piezas de coronación y las de cola de milano acentuadas (Finlandés, apoyo rejilla, ranuradas, etc) se colocarán con doble encolado para asegurar un total macizado.

PRODUCTOS RECOMENDADOS

PARA NIVELAR Y REGULARIZAR LAS SUPERFICIES:

Usar morteros con Aditivo Látex

PARA IMPERMEABILIZAR:

Membranas bituminosas reforzadas con fibras que se aplican directamente al soporte.

Morteros impermeabilizantes reforzados con fibras que se aplican directamente al soporte.

PARA INSTALAR LAS BALDOSAS:

Adhesivo Tipo C2 (según norma EN 12004) preferentemente C2TE.

Usar llana dentada.

PARA REJUNTAR:

Mortero de Juntas Tipo CG2 (según EN 13888).

Tipo RG para resistencia a las Manchas y alta Resistencia Química.

Usar llana de goma.

LAS JUNTAS DE EXPANSIÓN deben rellenarse con Selladores Flexibles de Silicona o Poliuretánicos.

/ INSTALLATION RECOMMENDATIONS

Must be considerate substrate type and conditions of use.

Surface to be covered shall be cleaned to remove bitumen, soil, dust, curing compounds, form, oil, sealants or grease. In spas, therapy pools, thermal baths, leisure centers and talasotherapy (sea water pools), high resistance grouts (chemical and abrasion) is very recommended.

BEFORE INSTALLATION. PREVIOUS TASKS

• Check tile system, different special pieces, colours and textures, and summit to Management.

• Check the substrate condition, geometry, surface quality , cracks and moisture.

• Leveling and waterproofing the substrate. Pass waterproofing test before tile installation.

• Check sizes pool, and levels (owerflow and pool edge levels).

• Movement joints placement, according to Management.

• Stock-pit organization: place the tiles at different workplaces.

• Detailed layout plan: cheking sizes, modularity and singular points.

• Make an installation planning, is very recommended.

TILES INSTALLATION

• Mark the reference lines, making a control grid.

• Mark the central axe and its perpendicular lines every 2 m. making a grid pattern.

• Use mark lanes as guidelines, in the short walls and bottom of the pool. Place a row of tiles along both lanes. Distribute tiles between lanes, align them following the grid.

• Put the cut pieces in the bottom of the pool.

• The joint between pieces will be 5 mm for Exagres pieces and 6-10 mm for Gresan series, to respect modularity and the correspondance of joints between different sizes and/or specials pieces.

THIN BED INSTALLATION

Over leveling substrate, adhesives are applied with a notched trowel.

Mortar thickness is between 5 mm-10 mm.

The substrate should be clean, sound, dry, plumb and true (3mm/3m).

Use leveling coat mortar if necessar.

Over concrete walls all cracks must be repaired prior the tiling.

Pool edge and back high profiled pieces, should be back-buttered to help achieve maximum coverage.

RECOMMENDED PRODUCTS

LEVELING COAT MORTAR:

Latex admix gives the mortar flexibility and bonding strength.

WATERPROOFING:

Direct bond rubber reinforced membranes.

Direct bond reinforced waterproof mortars.

SETTING:

Adhesive C2 type (EN 12004) better C2 TE type.

Use square notch trowel.

GROUTING:

CG2 type (EN 13888).

RG for stain, abrasion and high chemical resistance.

Use hard rubber trowel.

Fill the expansion joints with a flexible sealants: silicone or poliurethane.
